I Refuse to Let Our Love Be a Causality

Evening had just begun to settle, the sky painted in fading gold and deepening blue, when the heavy doors of the Jeon mansion flew open.
Taehyung didn’t enter quietly.
He burst in—like a storm wrapped in silk.
The staff froze. Conversations died mid-sentence. Even the chandeliers seemed to dim in his presence.
There was something unreal about him in that moment—his dark, slightly tousled hair catching the soft amber light, strands falling perfectly over his forehead like they had no right to look that effortless.
His skin held that porcelain glow, touched faintly by the cool tones of evening, and his lips—soft, tinted like a quiet rose—were pressed into a determined line.
Sharp. Deep. Alive with something urgent.
They scanned the room once—just once—and landed on Jungkook.
Jeon In-yeop (E)
Kim Taehyung, what do you think you are doing here ??
Without a word, Taehyung crossed the hall in long, confident strides.
The air shifted around him, like the world made space wherever he went. When he reached Jungkook, he didn’t ask.
No explanation. No hesitation.
Jeon Sueng-ho (DA)
Let go of my son
Just a pull—and Jungkook was already being dragged out of the mansion, past the gates, into the quiet hum of the evening.
They didn’t stop until the city noise faded behind them.
Until they reached their place.
It was hidden like a secret the world had forgotten.
A narrow path opened into a breathtaking garden, where time seemed to slow down just to exist there.
Cherry blossom trees arched overhead, their branches heavy with soft pink blooms that swayed gently in the breeze.
Petals drifted lazily through the air, catching the last light of the sun before settling onto the ground or the surface of the water.
A clear stream ran through the center, calm and glass-like, reflecting the blush of the sky and the falling blossoms.
Smooth stones lined its edges, and tiny ripples formed whenever a petal touched the surface—like the water was quietly breathing.
A small wooden bridge curved over the stream, leading to a delicate gazebo tucked beneath the trees.
It looked almost dreamlike, wrapped in soft light and shadows, like it existed just for them and no one else.
Flowers bloomed everywhere—pinks, whites, soft purples—spilling over the edges of the path, blending into the greenery like a painting that refused to stay still.
The whole place felt… untouched.
Like a memory they had built together and hidden from the rest of the world
Taehyung finally stopped near the stream, his grip on Jungkook loosening.
The breeze moved through his hair, lifting a few strands, brushing against his face.
Under the soft glow of the evening light, he looked even more unreal—like he belonged to this place more than anyone ever could.
Beautiful, but not in a fragile way.
Beautiful like something you couldn’t look away from… even if it ruined you.
He didn’t speak immediately.
He just stood there, breathing, eyes distant—yet full of something heavy, something unspoken.
And for a moment, the only sound between them was the quiet murmur of water… and the soft fall of cherry blossom petals.
Jungkook grabbed Tae's hand feeling something is wrong with his lover.
He called out of him in a soft voice.
Jeon Jungkook (EE)
What's wrong??
Kim Taehyung (EO)
*turns and look at Jungkook*
Looking at Tae's teary face, Jungkook froze. He never thought he would see his strong beloved omega would cry.
He was taken back when Tae suddenly hugged him.
Kim Taehyung (EO)
I'm sorry
His voice came out as a whisper, as an apology for a broken promises.
Hearing the two words "I'm sorry", Jungkook felt his world had stopped. As if he knows what promises he had broken
He broke the hug and looked at Tae. Whose face was now started to getting plae.
Jungkook felt someone is grabbing his heart tightly and wants to rip it apart.
Jeon Jungkook (EE)
Tae, what is wrong with you today??
Just as he finished saying that, Tae started to cough blood.
Jeon Jungkook (EE)

Kim Taehyung (EO)
