By the way, I'm Kyle, 23 years old, currently a Grade 11 student studying at Hanlim High School.

Cling... Cling... Cling...

Sighhh... It’s really tiring going to school today, but I have to do this for my future, hehe. And here I am, standing right in front of our classroom. As soon as I walked in, my one and only friend was already looking at me—none other than Justin. We’ve been friends since Junior High School. Even though we only met in high school, I treat him like a real brother, and he feels the same way about me. He’s really my only true friend. I don’t know why, but he’s just the one I really clicked with. I have other acquaintances at school, but our friendship only stays within the campus; once we step outside, we go our separate ways, hahaha. But Justin? He’s with me even outside of school—we hang out and go everywhere together.

(Back to reality)

Justin’s face was the first thing I saw, and he was smiling so wide—literally ear to ear! Geez, I don’t know about him. I sat down at my desk, and right on time, our teacher arrived. It was Ms. Valentine for our English subject. We started the lesson, and after an hour, class was over. Next was our Literature class with Mr. Valdez. After that, it was finally lunch break. Justin and I headed straight to the cafeteria to eat. As soon as we sat down, we started talking again about his love life. I really don’t know how he does it; he finds a girlfriend so easily! He just kept on telling stories until lunch was over.

We went back to our room, and shortly after, our History teacher, Mr. Sanchez, came in... blahh... blhhh... blhhh...

And finally, it was the last subject—the subject I hate the most: Mathematics! Huhuhu, I’m really bad with numbers. Our teacher is Ms. Montessori. She’s actually a very good teacher, I think the problem is just me. My brain just stops working whenever numbers are involved.

I finally survived the whole day at school! The best part was hearing the bell... tringg... tringg... tringg... It’s dismissal time! Yeheyyyy!!!

The Next Day

I felt really awful. I didn’t feel like going to school at all, but I had to go because we had a report to present, and it was also the day of the badminton tryouts.

I was walking down the stairs when suddenly I felt dizzy. Good thing I managed to grab onto the wall to steady myself...

“Oh my god, sorry! I didn’t mean to! I’m so sorry! I thought that was the wall, but I ended up grabbing your chest instead. Sorry! Sorry!”

(The guy I touched said, “It’s okay. Just be careful next time where you put your hands.”)

“Okay, I'm really, really sorry!”

Then he left, but damn, that guy was so handsome! He was literally glowing! Hahaha... Luckily, my fever went away in the middle of classes, so I was able to do the tryouts properly. And finally, I made the team! Yeheyyyyy.......

The Following Day

Justin and I were chasing each other in the hallway because I stole a love letter he was planning to give to his crush. Yep, you heard that right—my friend has a new crush again! Hayyy... I don't know, haha.

I was running backwards, teasing him, when I didn’t notice someone walking towards me... and then...

BUGSS!!!

My back crashed hard into the person in front of me...

Oh my god... Not again! I have a feeling I’m about to get into trouble again.........................................................................
