Bound by Ruin
Before you enter
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
Before the story starts, one thing should be clear.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
I did try writing with ChatGPT for proper dialogues in the beginning.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
But the result felt bland, emotionless, and nowhere near the kind of story I wanted this to be.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
So now, I only take a little bit of help from it sometimes.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
Everything comes from me.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
The world you’re about to enter—its characters, its power, its chaos—all of it begins with me.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
Roha. Zira. Nyra. They exist because I chose to create them.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
But the way they speak here… isn’t entirely written by me alone.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
So a very special thanks to Roohi and Ruby—my lovely and naughty friends.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
This story started because of them.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
I imagine the scenes.
I decide what happens.
I build the story, step by step.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
They help me shape it, encourage me to continue it, and stay with me while telling how to change and rebuild things again and again.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
Without them, I honestly don’t feel like writing this story at all.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
So understand this clearly—
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
The story is mine.
The direction is mine.
The control is mine.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
The future storyline… is simply being refined along the way.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
Also, this story won’t follow any fixed update schedule.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
Chapters will come when I feel like writing them.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
If that matters to you, now you know.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
Ps: All the credit of bonus pictures goes entirely to ChatGPT.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
I forgot to mention one more thing.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
I never reply to comments or interact under my own story.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
Not because I don’t appreciate the support—
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
But because I don’t like the idea of my OWN replies being counted as support for my OWN work.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
I want this story to stand only on the support of the people who genuinely enjoy reading it.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
So if I stay silent, that’s the reason.
𝓛𝓪𝓿𝓲 (Author)
I hope you understand.

Enjoy reading ~
The Center
In their private penthouse above the city, rain slides down the glass walls.
Roha stands near the window, hands in his pockets, looking out.
Zira leans against the table, then pushes off it, already restless.
Nyra sits quietly, watching both—but mostly him.
Zira
*tilts his head slightly*
Miss me?
Roha
You came when I called.
Zira lets out a small breath, then walks closer, slow, deliberate.
Zira
You say that like I had a choice.
Roha
*glances at him*
You didn’t.
Zira stops just a step away, a faint smile forming.
Nyra
You didn’t call us back just for this.
Zira
*turns slightly, impatient*
Then say it.
Roha shifts, now facing both of them.
Zira lets out a quiet laugh, dragging a hand through his hair.
Nyra
*leans forward a little*
Not sudden. Planned.
Nyra studies him more closely now.
Zira starts circling slowly, eyes never leaving Roha.
Zira stops behind him for a second, then shifts back into view.
Roha
To see who moves first.
Zira
*a small grin returns*
So you’re testing them.
Roha’s gaze moves between them, steady.
Roha
You’re already measured.
Neither of them steps back.
A faint sound outside—footsteps getting closer.
Zira straightens, energy shifting instantly.
Zira moves first, already heading left.
Nyra stands, smooth, controlled.
Zira
*glances back briefly*
Try not to miss me.
Roha turns back to the window, like nothing changed.
Behind him, both of them move exactly as expected.
First Move
The hallway outside the penthouse is quiet—too quiet.
Zira steps out first, shoulders loose but alert.
Nyra follows, slower, eyes scanning everything.
Behind them, Roha remains inside.
Zira
*low voice*
Four… maybe five.
Zira glances at her, a faint smirk forming.
Zira
Trying to impress him?
Nyra
*doesn't look at him*
I don’t need to try.
A sharp sound—metal shifting. clink
Figures emerge from the shadows at the far end.
Zira
*cracks his neck slightly*
Finally.
He moves first—fast, direct.
The first attacker doesn’t even react in time.
Attacker drops instantly.
Nyra steps aside, redirecting the strike— CRACK!
Zira
*laughs under his breath*
Too slow.
Another comes from behind—
Nyra catches it first, precise, controlled.
Nyra
Watch your blind side.
Zira
*smirks slightly* I knew that.
More footsteps. Closer now. thud… thud… thud
Nyra’s gaze shifts slightly—toward the door behind them.
Nyra
They’re not here for us.
Zira’s expression sharpens.
Zira
They’re trying to reach him!!
Zira moves faster now—more aggressive.
Nyra becomes colder—every move cleaner, quicker.
Both stop for a split second.
The door behind them opens.
Roha
You’re letting them get closer.
Zira
*exhales, almost amused*
Was just about to fix that.
Nyra
*straightens slightly*
It won’t happen again.
Roha’s gaze moves across the hallway once.
Nyra follows—no hesitation.
The hallway is still again.
Zira wipes his hand, breathing steady.
Nyra adjusts her sleeve, calm as before.
Both turn back—at the same time.
Zira’s grin falters for just a second.
Nyra’s expression tightens—barely noticeable.
Zira
*quiet laugh*
Next time, watch closer.
Nyra
*calm*
We'll be faster
