"Where the hell is Miroslav," the lead detective asked. "He said he'd be late cause his daughters sick and he's waiting on his sister to return," Alexei replied. "Send him to my office once he arrives," the lead detective said before leaving. Alexei stepped outside and called Miroslav, who didn't answer. After about half an hour alter, Miroslav showed up to work. "Miroslav," Alexei said. "I know the lead detective wants to see me. He sent me an angry message," Miroslav laughed. "You better go inside and see him. He's real angry today," Alexei said. Miroslav went inside and into the lead detectives office. A hour and half later he came out and sat down at his desk. Alexei went over to him only to see that Miroslav was distracted by a case. "Miroslav," Alexei said. "Yea," Miroslav said looking up at him. "Did he hit you again," Alexei asked. "Yes, but it's nothing new," Miroslav sighed. "Everyone pay attention," the lead detective shouted. Once he had everyone's attention he began to talk about the next objective. "Now as for the person who's going undercover as a member of The Shadow Syndicate is Miroslav Shinazugawa," the lead detective said. "Are sure that's a good choice. Detective Miroslav has a daughter," another detective shouted. "Send someone else. The Shadow Syndicate is no joke. The last detective that was undercover there was killed the moment he was found out," Alexei said. "Its alright, Alexei, I'll do as im told," Miroslav said getting up. "Miroslav, come into my office. I'll give you the rundown in there," the lead detective said before leaving. "Miroslav," Alexei said concerned. "I'll be fine, but if something happens to me please look after my daughter," Miroslav said. "I will, just be sure come back safely," Alexei said. "I'll go speak with the lead detective," Miroslav said before walking off. After he finished talking with the lead detective Miroslav left with Alexei to handle a case. Once they finished with it they headed back to the station to finish up all the paperwork.

Miroslav showed up in front of The Ravon as part of his job. The Ravon got up and walked closer to Miroslav before crouching down in front of him. "You're a mixed race aren't you," The Ravon said. "Ravon," The Wolf said walking over. "What did you find out," The Ravon asked standing up. "His name is Miroslav Shinazugawa Age: 26 Has a 4 year old daughter and his wife died 4 years ago after giving birth. He works in a nearby office. He's a Russian/Japanese mix," The Wolf replied. "No wonder he looks strange," The Ravon said. "Would you like me to handle this, sir," The Wolf asked. "I'll take care of this one. You may leave," The Ravon replied. The Wolf nodded before leaving the room. The Ravon grabbed Miroslav's arm yanking him up off the ground. He dragged him into another room and threw him to the ground. "You'll have to do a lot better than that fake form Detective Miroslav," The Ravon said. Miroslav looked up at the man with shock and fear. "My men have seen you going in and out of the station. You've even shook down one of my people. You're fullish if you think that you could take us down from the inside," The Ravon said as he chained Miroslav to the wall. "Wait, what are you going to do," Miroslav asked. "Don't worry, Detective, I won't touch your family. Not yet anyway," The Ravon smirked before leaving. Miroslav looked around the room, but all he saw was a mattress on the floor. He stood up and walked around the room unsure of what to do. *I'm fucked. He's for sure going to kill me once he returns. I've been undercover for three weeks now but if I don't make contact with Alexei or the lead detective soon it'll be bad. Alexei is probably already worried,* Miroslav thought. The next few days were brutal as Miroslav suffered from beatings and torture. The Ravon entered the room after a week had passed. "Have you had enough, Detective," The Ravon asked. Miroslav didn't say anything, but just sat there starring at him. The Ravon grabbed Miroslav by the hair and dragged him to the bed before throwing him. He pinned him down before tying his hands together. "Wait, stop, what are you doing," Miroslav asked afraid. "You will break soon, Miroslav. They always do," The Riven smirked. "Look, I really don't know anything. The lead detective didn't give me much information," Miroslav said. The Ravon looked down at him before smirking. "AHH," Miroslav screamed in pain. "Stay still," The Ravon said. "No, please, stop. It hurts so much," Miroslav begged. "Bare with it," The Ravon said. "Stop...hic...please," Miroslav begged. The Ravon ignored Miroslav's cries and continued on until The Wolf knocked on the door. Miroslav had passed out multiple times but that didn't stop The Ravon. "Stop...hic...please...hic...no more," Miroslav begged. The Ravon laughed before leaving the room to handle a problem. Miroslav laid there barely conscious on the bed covered in blood and other bodily fluids. *I want to go home,* Miroslav thought before passing out.

A few months later, The Ravon forced Miroslav to remain near him at all times. Miroslav had slowly gotten used to the way The Ravon treated him. One day while waiting outside a private room, Miroslav was grabbed and dragged into a nearby room by a servant. "Miroslav," the man said before hugging him. Miroslav stood there without answering. The man let go before stepping back and removing his disguise. "Alexei," Miroslav said surprised. "I'm the one who should be surprised. We thought you were found and killed. It's been three months since you disappeared without a trace," Alexei said. "I was found out," Miroslav said. "That can't be cause they didn't kill you," Alexei said. "I don't know. My daughter, how is she," Miroslav asked worriedly. "She's alright, but she misses you so much. Your sister as well," Alexei replied. "WHERE THE HELL IS MIROSLAV," The Ravon shouted. Miroslav flinched before turning to leave. Alexei grabbed him causing him to stop. "Let go, Alexei, I need to go," Miroslav said. "You seriously can't go back to him now. He sounds pissed," Alexei said. "Put your disguise back on and hurry," Miroslav said. Alexei quickly put his disguise back on just as the door flung open. The Ravon walked over to Miroslav hitting him hard. "I told you stand guard outside my room," The Ravon said angrily. "My mistake, sir, it won't happen again," Miroslav said as he knelt there. "Ha, just what the hell were doing that made you leave your spot," The Ravon asked. Miroslav didn't know how to answer as he didn't want Alexei to be found out. They Ravon turned towards Alexei who was disguised as a servant. "What were you doing with this servant," The Ravon asked. "Nothing," Miroslav said standing up. "Nothing you say," The Ravon turning around. Miroslav froze in place a moment before stepping back. The Ravon grabbed Miroslav before slamming him against the wall. Alexei stood there frozen as he wasn't sure how to help his friend. Miroslav used his hand to signal Alexei to leave immediately. Alexei hesitated a moment before leaving, but the moment he walked out he heard Miroslav yell out in pain. He wanted to run back inside and help him, but he wasn't able to due to the guards outside. Alexei quickly ran off to a quieter place in order to call the lead detective. He told the lead detective everything he saw and heard before returning his work. Once finished he started to leave but froze dead in tracks whenever he saw The Ravon carry an unconscious Miroslav wrapped in nothing but a trench coat. He feared for his friends safety as he quickly got into his car and sped away.

Miroslav woke to find himself in a darkened room. He winced in pain as he tried to sit up. Suddenly the light flicked on and women approached the window. "Oh, you're awake," the woman said. "Where am I," Miroslav asked his voice hoarse. "You're at Mr. Volkou's home. He brought you here last night and asked me to take care of you until he returns," the woman replied. Miroslav throw the blankets off himself only to see a ankle monitor. He realized that he wasn't wearing anything but a shirt that was huge on him. "You shouldn't move around to much. Your body is still recovering," the woman said. "How long was I unconscious," Miroslav asked. "A couple of days. Mr. Volkou should be home soon try to rest until then," the woman said before leaving. Miroslav laid back down on the bed and starred up at the ceiling. After a bit he fell asleep only to wake moments later to someone on top of him. "You're awake now," Kazimir said. "Please don't," Miroslav said. "Don't worry I won't do anything to you right now," Kazimir said. "Wh...What are you doing," Miroslav asked. "Just treating your injuries," Kazimir replied. "I...I can do it," Miroslav said. "Stay still," Kazimir said. Miroslav flinched before laying there quietly. Kazimir smirked as he continued treating Miroslav wounds. Once he finished Kazimir throw clothes at Miroslav before leaving the room. After Miroslav got dressed he went out of the room and over to Kazimir. "Let's go," Kazimir said. "Ok," Miroslav said. Kazimir smiled as Miroslav was finally being obedient. They headed out to the meeting spot. Miroslav stayed close to Kazimir until he entered the room to speak with the higher ups. Miroslav stood outside the door waiting for the meeting to end. Kazimir and the others continued to talk until a loud commotion could be heard from outside. One of the guards standing outside ran into the room shouting that the police were here. The Shadow Syndicate quickly escorted their boss to safety. Kazimir looked around as he was looking for Miroslav. He finally spotted him trying to get free from a couple of officers. "Ravon, we need to leave," The Wolf said. "Wait for Miroslav," The Ravon (Kazimir) said. "But, sir, they aren't going to let him again and besides he's a detective," The Wolf said. Kazimir grinned as he watched Miroslav break free from the police. Another officer tried to grab him, but he dodged it. "Miroslav," The Ravon shouted. Miroslav looked over to see Kazimir waving him over. He looked back at the officers who were trying to catch him before running towards Kazimir. The Wolf got in and quickly started the car as The Ravon got in. The Ravon left the door open for Miroslav to jump through. Once inside the car they quickly sped away. The officers stood there confused by Miroslav actions.

Another few months had passed and Miroslav walked into the agency. The detectives saw him and froze immediately. Alexei walked out of the lead detectives office, but stopped once he saw his friend. Miroslav was covered in blood and breathing heavily. He looked up at his friend before collapsing to the floor. Alexei ran over to him while another detective immediately called for an ambulance. The lead detective left his office due to the commotion. He saw paramedics as well as Miroslav laying unconscious on the ground. "What's going on," the lead detective asked. "Detective Miroslav walked through the door covered in blood. He didn't say anything, but instead just collasped. We immediately called the paramedics," a detective replied. The lead detective watched as they took Miroslav away while Alexei followed behind them. At the hospital Alexei called Violetta and told her what had happened. After the call Violetta and Ekaterina arrived at the hospital. "What happened to him," Violetta asked. "I'm not sure. He showed up at the agency covered in blood then collasped," Alexei replied. "Mr. Belsky, Ms. Shinazugawa," the doctor said. "Yes," Alexei answered. "Is my brother alright," Violetta asked. "He was stabbed in the abdomen. He's lost a lot of blood, but he's stable. We did notice some unusual bruising and some miner cuts. Some of the blood that was on his body wasn't his," the doctor replied. "Can we see daddy," Ekaterina asked. "Of course, please follow me," the doctor said. After the doctor led them to the room, he left to handle another patient. "Daddy," Ekaterina said grabbing his hand. "Ekaterina," Violetta said. "Daddy, you need to wake up so you can come home," Ekaterina said. "He'll wake up soon, Ekaterina," Violetta said picking her up. "No, put me down. I want daddy," Ekaterina said squirming. "Please stay still so you don't fall," Violetta said. "Daddy...wahhhhh...I want daddy," Ekaterina cried. "I know you do," Violetta said. Alexei noticed that Miroslav would twitch anytime Ekaterina cried out for him. "Waaahhh," Ekaterina cried. "Shhh, its alright Ekaterina. Your dad will be alright. He's just sleeping," Violetta said. "Re...hic...ally," Ekaterina asked. "Yes, he's just very tired and needs some sleep," Violetta replied. Suddenly the monitor started beeping as Miroslav's blood pressure suddenly dropped. The doctor immediately ran into the room and over to Miroslav. Alexei and Violetta took Ekaterina who was still crying out of the room. After a while the doctor came out and told them that his wound reopened. The doctor allowed them to reenter the room, but advised them to be careful.

Miroslav spent the next few weeks unconscious in the hospital. After he woke up he spent another week in the hospital before returning home. The moment he walked through the door with Alexei, his daughter hugged him tightly. "Daddy, I missed you so much," Ekaterina said. "I missed you to, sweetheart," Miroslav said hugging her back. "Where were you," Violetta asked. "I was working undercover so I wasn't able to call or visit. I had to keep you two safe," Miroslav replied. "I need to speak with you," Alexei said placing his hand on Miroslav's shoulder. "Alright, Ekaterina, I'm going to go talk to Alexei for a moment. Whenever I get done we can play," Miroslav said. "You promise," Ekaterina said. "Yes," Miroslav smiled. Miroslav led Alexei into the study and locked the door. "Can you tell me what happened these past 6 months and what the hell happened the day you showed up at work," Alexei asked. "Ravon found out my identity after just being there for a few weeks. I was locked up in a room after that and tortured. Unfortunately, it only got worse from there. After I was locked up for a while Ravon finally allowed me out of the room. However, I had to stay by his side until I could gain his trust again. I don't think I ever gained his trust cause after a bit he locked me up at his house. That day I showed at the agency I was with Ravon when we were attacked. I took the chance and ran away after Ravon had gotten shot. Unfortunately, I was stabbed while I was with him," Miroslav replied. "So some of the blood on wasn't actually yours," Alexei said. "Some of the blood belonged to Ravon," Miroslav said. "Did you try to save him," Alexei asked. "Yes," Alexei replied. "Why'd you do that? You should've just ran away after he got shot but instead u stayed and ended up getting shot," Alexei said. "I couldn't," Miroslav said. "What do you mean by that," Alexei asked. "His men were everywhere. If I would've just ran off they would've killed me on the spot," Miroslav replied. "Well since he was shot he should be in hiding. Then again you were in the hospital for a while before being discharged so there's a chance that he's already recovered," Alexei said getting up. Miroslav stood up, but instantly fell to the ground. Alexei turned around to see blood dripping from Miroslav's nose. "Are you alright," Alexei asked rushing over. "It's just a nose bleed," Miroslav replied. "You just got home from the doctor," Alexei said as he got some tissues. Miroslav suddenly remembered what Kazimir told him. He tried to get up but failed. Alexei knew something was wrong as his friend was breathing heavily. Miroslav's nose continued to bleed until he suddenly coughed up blood and passed out. Alexei ran from the room and downstairs to get his phone. Violetta looked at him confused before following him upstairs. "Oh god, what happened," Violetta asked worriedly. "I'm not sure. We were talking then his nose started to bleed and he fell to the floor. He suddenly coughed up blood and passed out," Alexei said. Miroslav ended up back in the hospital unconscious. The doctors struggled to find the cause as all the test came back negative.

Miroslav woke to find himself alone in the hospital room. He sat up and looked around the room, trying to find his phone. "You're awake," a man said entering the room. Miroslav looked towards the door and watched as the man approached him. "Kazimir " Miroslav said. "It's been a while, detective," Kazimir said. "Why are you...Miroslav suddenly started coughing. "You were poisoned," Kazimir said walking over. "Was it...cough...your doing," Miroslav asked. "Remember what I told would happened if you left my side, detective," Kazimir said as he sat on the bed next to him. "I...Miroslav wasn't able to say anything as he had coughed up blood again. "Ravon, just grab him and let's go. The police will be here soon," The Wolf said. Kazimir picked up Miroslav and carried him out of the hospital. While in the car Kazimir injected something into Miroslav arm. "That should help stop the poison for now. However, you'll need an injection ever couple of days, so it's best you stay close to me," Kazimir said. Miroslav didn't say anything, but rather just starred at his hands. "Your family will be safe, so don't worry," Kazimir said. "I want to be able to see my daughter," Miroslav said. Kazimir starred at him before smirking, pulling him into his arms. "What was that," Kazimir asked. "I'll stay by your side, but please allow me to see my daughter," Miroslav replied. "Let's just see how you do first," Kazimir said. Miroslav didn't say anything more as they continued on. The next few weeks Miroslav was forced to remain by Kazimir's side. He had to endure beatings as well as getting raped. Miroslav was constantly worried about his daughter and sister. One day while Miroslav was chained up he heard someone crying outside. He froze whenever he realized that the person sounded exactly like his daughter. Miroslav shouted for Ravon, but was ignored. He kept trying get free, but was unable to. After a bit he cried out in pain as he had injured his arm. Kazimir entered the room and just starred down at him. He crouched down and lifted Miroslav's face towards him. "You're daughter is a sweetheart, Miroslav," Kazimir said. "Don't hurt her please," Miroslav begged. "I found her wondering around alone. She looks just like you," Kazimir said. "Please don't do anything to her. She's innocent and has nothing to do with this," Miroslav said. "Wolf, bring the child in here," Kazimir shouted. The moment The Wolf brought the child into the room she tried to run over to Miroslav. Kazimir grabbed her and pulled her away from her father. "Let go I want daddy," Ekaterina said. "Kazimir, please," Miroslav begged. "Wolf hold the child for a moment," Kazimir said. "Yes sir," The Wolf said. Kazimir handed the child to The Wolf before walking over to Miroslav. He hit him hard twice before yanking him up to his knees. "You're getting on my nerves today, Miroslav," Kazimir said. Ekaterina started crying and begging Kazimir to stop hurting her father. Kazimir smirked before tossing Miroslav to the ground. He turned and grabbed Ekaterina forcefully causing her to cry out in pain. Kazimir lifted her up off the ground. "Wait please don't hurt her. I'll do whatever you want just don't hurt my daughter," Miroslav begged. "Anything," Kazimir smirked. "Yes, anything even that. I'll do it as many times you want and where ever you want. Just please let my daughter go," Miroslav begged. Kazimir set the child down and had The Wolf hold her once again. He walked over to Miroslav pulling him to his knees again. "You better keep your word, detective," Kazimir said. "I will as long as you keep yours," Miroslav said. "Ha, Wolf release the child. We should prepare for the meeting," Kazimir said. The Wolf let go of Ekaterina and followed Kazimir out of the room. Ekaterina ran over to her father and hugged him tightly. "Daddy," Ekaterina said. "It's alright Ekaterina. Everything will be fine," Miroslav said hugging his daughter. "When can we leave. I'm scared and want to go home. Daddy, can we can home now," Ekaterina asked. "I don't think so, sweetheart," Miroslav said. "Is it cause you're chained up," Ekaterina asked. "That's part of it," Miroslav replied. "But daddy, I want to go home," Ekaterina said. Four men suddenly entered the room. "That's not happening," a man said yanking Ekaterina away from her father. "Wait stop let her go," Miroslav begged. The man throw Ekaterina into the closet locking it. She was screaming and cried begging to be let out. "If you cooperate with us we won't hurt the kid," the first man said. Miroslav reluctantly cooperated with the men in front of him. He would muffle his screams and groans so his daughter wouldn't hear the pain he was in. After a while the men stopped and left room, but didn't let his daughter out. An hour and half later Kazimir entered the room with Wolf. Ekaterina was crying in the closet while Miroslav laid there unconscious. Kazimir told The Wolf to find the people who did this and take care of them. He went over to the closet and let out Ekaterina who tried to go to her father. "Hold on kid," Kazimir said grabbing her. "I...hic...want...hic...daddy," Ekaterina cried. "Ravon," The Wolf said. "Take the kid somewhere else for now. Get her some snacks and soda," Kazimir said. "Yes sir," The Wolf said taking Ekaterina to another room. Kazimir walked over to Miroslav and crouched down. "What the hell happened in here," Kazimir asked himself. "What's with that face," Miroslav asked suddenly. "You're awake now," Kazimir said. "Where's Ekaterina," Miroslav asked. "She's with Wolf. I asked him to take her somewhere else. Don't worry she's safe," Kazimir replied. "Good," Miroslav said before passing back out. Kazimir unchained Miroslav and picked him before carrying him to the bathroom. He cleaned him up and carried him to his bedroom. Kazimir laid Miroslav on the bed before getting him dressed and covering him up. He had The Wolf call a doctor before going to take care of Ekaterina.

Miroslav and Ekaterina remained at Kazimir's home for the next four month. Violetta had reported them missing a few days after they had gone missing, but the police had yet to find them. Miroslav did whatever Kazimir wanted him to do and eventually he started to relax more. "Daddy, look what Mr. Volkou got me," Ekaterina said excitedly as she held up a stuffed unicorn. "That's nice of him," Miroslav said smiling. "You should smile more," Kazimir said suddenly. "Are you staying for dinner or are you heading out again," Miroslav asked ignoring his statement. "I'll be staying. It's been a while since we had some fun together," Kazimir smirked. "If that's what you want then we can play together after Ekaterina goes to sleep," Miroslav said before walking away. Kazimir chuckled at Miroslav's reaction before going into the bedroom. Miroslav prepared dinner while watching Ekaterina draw at the counter. "Daddy, look I drew us," Ekaterina said excitedly. Miroslav saw that the drawing consist of her, him and Kazimir. "Do you not like it, daddy," Ekaterina asked sadly. "No, sweetheart, I like it. Give it here and I'll put it on the fridge," Miroslav replied smiling. "Ok," Ekaterina said happily. Miroslav hung the drawing up on the fridge before finishing up dinner. "Where's Ekaterina," Kazimir asked entering the kitchen. "She went to wash up for dinner," Miroslav replied turning around. "Have you finished making dinner," Kazimir asked. "Yes, so sit down already," Miroslav replied. "Daddy, I washed my hands," Ekaterina said happily. "Good job, sweetie, now let's eat. Mr. Volkou will be joining us tonight," Miroslav said smiling. "Really," Ekaterina asked turning towards Kazimir. "Yes," Kazimir replied. After they ate, Miroslav played with his daughter for a while before having her take a bath. Once Ekaterina finished her bath she watched a movie and went to bed. Miroslav went into the bedroom and over to Kazimir who was sitting on the bed. "Ekaterina is asleep," Miroslav said. "Good," Kazimir smirked has he placed his hands on Miroslav's waist. Miroslav removed his shirt and as he climbed on top of him. "You said you wanted to play," Miroslav said. "Ha," Kazimir laughed as he flipped Miroslav onto the bed. Miroslav looked up at him surprised at how gentle he was being. "What are you doing," Miroslav asked. "What's it look like," Kazimir said removing his clothes. Kazimir kissed Miroslav gently and passionately. Miroslav was surprised, but eventually wrapped his arms around Kazimir's neck. After a bit Kazimir broke the kiss and looked down at Miroslav's face. Miroslav's face was red and he was panting. "Are you going to continue," Miroslav asked embarrassed. "Yes, don't worry," Kazimir smirked. Kazimir continued with what he was doing. "Huff...slow...ngh...down...huff...ngh...hurts," Miroslav said. "Bare with it," Kazimir said. Kazimir kept going until Miroslav passed out. He cleaned him up before leaving to handle a situation.

"Ravon," Wolf said running into the room. "What is it," The Ravon asked. "You need to head home immediately. That detective and his daughter could be in danger," The Wolf replied. "Follow me and explain on the way," The Ravon said. "The Falcon was spotted near your home and she wasn't alone," The Wolf said. After a bit, they arrived at the Ravon's home. They saw the door wide open and immediately entered the home. "Mr. Volkou," Ekaterina said running over to him. "Are you hurt," The Ravon asked. "No, the...hic...the blood...hic...is dads," Ekaterina replied. "Ravon," The Wolf said. The Ravon looked up to see Miroslav stumbling into the room. Miroslav had his hand covering his abdomen as blood fell onto the floor. He was breathing heavily as he leaned against the wall. "Daddy," Ekaterina said. "Wolf, take Ekaterina to the car and wait there," The Ravon said. "Yes, sir," The Wolf said. "No, I want to stay with daddy," Ekaterina said. "I'll take care of your dad. Go with Wolf for now," The Ravon said. "Hic...ok," Ekaterina said before leaving with Wolf. Ravon went over to the Miroslav just as he was about to collaspe to the floor. He checked the wound to see that it was a stab wound. The wound was deep and the blade appeared to have been twisted before it was removed. Miroslav pulled something out of his pocket before handing it to Kazimir. "Falcon said to give that to you," Miroslav said before passing out. Ravon sat the note aside before picking up Miroslav and carrying him upstairs. He applied pressure to the wound eventually stopping the bleeding. Ravon pulled out a first aid kit and begain stitching up Miroslav's wound. Once it was all stitched up he cleaned it up before wrapping it. "You need to stay alive," Ravon said kissing him on the forehead. Ravon stood up and went downstairs. He looked around the room and found a couple of body's in the living room. There was a man half dead laying on the kitchen floor. He messaged Wolf to call someone to come up a mess. A few moments later Wolf entered the home with some men. They began to clean up the bodies and the blood. Ekaterina ran over to Ravon and hugged him tightly. "Where's my daddy," Ekaterina asked. "He's resting right now," Ravon replied picking her up. "I want to see him," Ekaterina said. "Ravon," Wolf said. "Yes," Ravon said turning to face him. "The man in the kitchen should we take him back and get answers out of him," Wolf asked. "Yes," Ravon replied. "I want daddy," Ekaterina said. "I'll take you to him, but you can't hug him right now. He needs rest," Ravon said walking upstairs. Ravon sat Ekaterina on the floor next to Miroslav's bed. "Mr. Volkou," Ekaterina said with tears in her eyes. "He'll be alright. He just needs some rest so he can recover," Kazimir replied. "Brother," Ekaterina said grabbing his hand. "Why don't you go ahead and get ready for bed," Kazimir said. "Alright, Mr. Volkou," Ekaterina said as she left the room. Kazimir tucked Ekaterina in before telling her good night and returning to Miroslav's side. He sat in the chair next to the bed reading a book. "Kazimir," Miroslav said. "Yes," Kazimir answered setting the book down. "Please take Ekaterina to my sister," Miroslav said. Kazimir starred at him before grabbing his hand and kissing it gently. "I'll take her in the morning. Just rest for now," Kazimir said. Miroslav looked over at him before passing out again.

The next morning, Kazimir had Ekaterina get dressed and follow him. Wolf remained with Miroslav in order to take care of him. "Where are we going, Mr. Volkou? Shouldn't we stay with daddy," Ekaterina asked. "Your father asked me to take you to Violetta," Kazimir replied. "But I want to stay with daddy. He needs me," Ekaterina said. "Miroslav wants you stay with Violetta. It's safer that way anyway. Your father doesn't want you to get hurt," Kazimir said as he stopped the car. "Where are we," Ekaterina asked. "We're at the police station. Violetta reported you and Miroslav missing so I brought you here. The police are going to ask questions, but you cant tell them anything about me or my men," Kazimir said. "Alright, please take care of my daddy," Ekaterina said. "I will," Kazimir said. Ekaterina got out of the car and went into the police station. She looked around scared and shaking as tears began to roll down her cheeks. "Ekaterina," a familiar voice said. Ekaterina looked up to see Alexei walking towards her. She ran over to him hugging him tightly. "Alexei," Ekaterina said. "Where have you been," Alexei asked. "I...hic...don't...hic...know," Ekaterina replied. "Are you hurt anywhere," Alexei asked. "No," Ekaterina said breaking the hug. "Where's your father," Alexei asked. "I...hic...don't...hic...know," Ekaterina cried. "It's alright. We'll find him," Alexei said hugging her again. "Detective Belsky," an officer said. "Yes," Alexei answered. "We've called Violetta Shinazugawa. She's on her way here now," the officer said. "Thank you," Alexei said. The officer nodded before walking away. Alexei took Ekaterina to get ice cream before sitting on the steps outside of the police department. "I want my daddy," Ekaterina said. "We'll find him don't worry," Alexei said. "Ekaterina," Violetta said running over. "Aunt Violetta," Ekaterina said getting up. Violetta hugged Ekaterina tightly as tears rolled down her cheeks. She picked her up and held onto her afraid to let go. "Have you found my brother," Violetta asked. "Not yet, but we'll find him," Alexei said. "I want daddy," Ekaterina said. "They'll find him," Violetta said. "Take her home for now so she can rest," Alexei said. "Alright but please find Miroslav," Violetta begged. Alexei watched as they drove away before going back inside.

Meanwhile, Kazimir sat on the bed next to Miroslav. He checked the wound before rewrapping it. "Kazimir," Miroslav said suddenly. "You're awake," Kazimir said. "Did you take Ekaterina to my sister," Miroslav asked. "Yes, she's currently at home with Violetta now," Kazimir replied. "Do you have men watching her," Miroslav asked. "I sent a couple of my people to watch over them. If something happens I'll know about. You don't need to worry about them right now," Kazimir said as he covered him up. "I'm tired still," Miroslav said quietly. "You lost quit a bit of blood so that's understandable," Kazimir said standing up. "Just please don't let anything happen to my family," Miroslav said before passing out. Kazimir left the room and headed downstairs. "Ravon, sir," Wolf said. "What is it," Kazimir asked. "Falcon's men have been spotted outside of where you dropped off the detectives daughter," Wolf said. "Kill them," Kazimir said. "Yes," Wolf said then left. Kazimir sat down as he watched the maid clean up the house. After a while, he went back upstairs to check on Miroslav. Once finished he went into the study. He did some paperwork before calling it a night. The next morning, Kazimir woke to the maid shouting. He got up and went into the room. "What's the meaning of this," Kazimir asked. "I'm sorry to have woken you Mr. Volkou, but you must assist Mr. Shinazugawa. His wound is bleeding again, sir," the maid replied. Kazimir quickly went over to Miroslav and lifted his shirt. He removed the bandages and grabbed the towel that the maid had handed him. Kazimir quickly got the bleeding to stop and cleaned it up. "Mr. Volkou," the maid said. "Get a doctor here immediately," Kazimir said. "Yes sir," the maid said before running off. "Kazimir," Miroslav said suddenly. "You're awake, I had the maid get the doctor. Your wound is bleeding again," Kazimir said. Miroslav started coughing up blood just as the maid returned. "Mr. Volkou, the doctor is on his way," the maid said. "Tell him to hurry," Kazimir said. Miroslav placed his hand on Kazimir's hand. The maid quickly ran out of the room to inform the doctor to hurry. Miroslav groaned in discomfort causing Kazimir to show worry. "I know hurts but bare with it. We need to get the bleeding to stop," Kazimir said. "It's alright. It doesn't hurt," Miroslav said weakly. "Mr. Volkou," the maid said. "What is it," Kazimir asked. "The doctor has arrived," the maid replied. "Let him in here," Kazimir said. The maid left the room as the doctor entered. The doctor had Kazimir leave the room while he did the treatment. However, Kazimir waited anxiously outside the door. After a while the doctor stepped out. "How is he," Kazimir asked. "He's not doing great. He's lost way to much blood. He's pale, calmy, and even cold to the touch. He's weak and doesn't seem to have improved any since i last saw him. Mr. Volkou, this man will not survive if he remains here. You must bring him to my clinic immediately," thr doctor said. "Can we take him now," Kazimir asked. "I would like to but unfortunately he's not in a stable enough condition to be moved right now. We must focus on getting him stable enough to be moved," the doctor said. "You shall stay here until then," Kazimir said. "I can't..."You will be staying here. There's no room for discussion. He needs a doctor here," Kazimir interrupted. The doctor, trembling, reluctantly cooperated with Kazimir. The maid showed the doctor where he'd be staying before returning to her quarters.

A month had gone by and Miroslav has yet to awaken. "Mr. Volkou," the doctor said. "What is it," Kazimir asked removing his jacket. "Mr. Shinazugawa's wound is healing nicely, but I'm concerned that he hasn't yet to awaken," the doctor replied. "Just keep treating his wound. I'm sure he'll awake soon," Kazimir said. "Mr. Volkou, sir, shall I prepare your clothes," the maid asked. "No need," Kazimir replied. "Are you sure, sir, you appear to have blood on your sleeve," the maid ststed. Kazimir looked at his sleeves before waving the doctor away. "Go ahead and place clothes in my bathroom. I shall shower before seeing Miroslav," Kazimir said. "Yes, sir," the maid said then left. The maid left clothes on the bathroom sink. Once Kazimir finished his shower and got dressed he went into Miroslav's room. Miroslav was laying unconscious on the bed while the doctor checked his wound. "Once your done you may leave," Kazimir said. "Sorry to bother you, sir, but Pankratiy is here. He says he needs to speak with you," the maid said. "Send him in," Kazimir said. "Yes, sir," the maid said then left. "I've finished checking Miroslav's wounds so ill be taking my leave," the doctor said then left. Pankratiy entered the room just as the doctor was leaving. He walked over to Kazimir handing him a paper. "They're searching for Miroslav Shinazugawa. The police even put up rewards and numbers to call if they see or hear anything," Pankratiy stated. "This could be a problem," Kazimir said. "If they find him here, boss, you'll be in trouble. With Miroslav injured and unconscious they'll think you're the cause of it," Pankratiy said. "They won't find him," Kazimir said. "How can you be sure," Pankratiy asked. "They don't have any clues," Kazimir replied. "What about that child? How can you be sure she won't say anything," Pankratiy asked. "She won't, Pankratiy. Ekaterina is a smart girl," Kazimir replied. "Sir," Pankratiy said. "If you're that worried then make sure that the police can't find us," Kazimir said. "We don't need anything happing to you, sir. We also can't let the police take Miroslav since he may talk," Pankratiy said. "He won't," Kazimir said as he gently stroked Miroslav's cheek. "How can you be so sure, boss," Pankratiy asked. "Because i know he won't. He's had many chances to tell the other detective as well as the police. Yet he remains silent about everything, even the toture that hes gone through," Kazimir replied. Pankratiy didnt say anything else as he watched his boss carefully care for the injuried detective. "Is that all you came here for, Pankratiy," Kazimir asked. "Yes, sir," Pankratiy replied. "Then you may leave," Kazimir said. Pankratiy quickly left the house and returned to the others. Kazimir remained near Miroslav for the rest of the night before returning to work the next day. The maid and the doctor took care of the detective while Kazimir was away. As time passed by Kazimir got a lot more busy causing him to gone for days even weeks.
