Ji Ah POV :

[ I am sad, hurt, angry, mad and dissapointed. But you know what?I'll put on a fake smile and move on. It will hurt but atleast I will survive. it has been my favorite thing to do all this years because atleast it hide my pain. And it's so funny that everyone is fooled by my pretty fake smile and they are even jealous of it. Im Lee Ji Ah top student of Hanguk university. It is one of the top university of the city only rich people go there because normal people can't afford it. Wait! You must think that I'm from a rich family but that's not true I am from poor family. I got into this university because of scholarships. I have never been proud of myself except for my studies. I am really proud of it. People thinks that I am the happiest girl in this world. They thinks that I don't have any problem in my life, my heart doesn't hurt. People adore me. Many students in my university even take s me as their role model. But will they still adore me after knowing my trueself? Why am I even asking this when I know the answer? No they won't like me after knowing my trueself instead they will pity me which I hate the most. no one sees the pain behind my smile, they only sees a happy girl who always smile have doesn't any pain in her heart. To the outside world I live a happy life. But as soon as I enter into my house my true life begins there. My smile fades away and finally my tired mouth which gets tired after wearing a fake smile all day can take a rest. I live with my dad mom and brother. My dad loves me the most. He mostly stays outside because of his work. My mom is a drunkard. She always get drunk and gives us pain. But I know she loves me. I love her too but nowadays my love for her is getting weaker and weaker. And I hate this. she was never like this before. She was loving and caring mother but now she is a drunkard. I am afraid of night. I always wish that there will be no night because mostly at the night my mom gets drunk. I hate to to see her like this. At first she wasn't that bad even after drinking but since few years she has become really bad. she started hitting me and my brother, she yelles at me she doesn't let me sleep all night by unnecessary shouting. She becomes different person after drinking. She even forget that I am her daughter....and in the morning when she sobers up she forgets about everything that happened last night which even I hate the most because if she doesn't remember how much pain she gives us after drinking than how will she stop drinking. I tried everything to make her normal but instead she is being more and more bad. it is really hard to see her like this...

"hey! where are you bitch ?"

Look! She started shouting. She must be drunk again]

"*come* *outside fast*! "

" *yes mom* ! "

Ji Ah runs out of her room

"*bring me food I am hungry* ! "

"*ok* "

Ji Ah run to the kitchen and brings food to her mom

" *here* *you go*! "

...her mom eats a little food but she throws all the food on the floor ,...

"*is this even a food ? Do you call this food ? it is so cold " (she yells at Ji Ah*)

"*so...sorry mom " (her voice tremble* )

"*bring me another food " (she yells*)

Ji Ah run to the kitchen and warm the food and again bring it to her mom,

but again she throws the food ,

" *do you want to burn my tongue you bitch ?do you want to die* ? "

she raised her hand to to hit Ji Ah but her brother Lee Hyun comes infront of her....

" *mom why do you always beat Ji Ah after getting drunk* "

"*do you also want to die* ? "

" *Hyun*! *please go inside your room* "

" *sister* ! "

" *Hyun* ! *go inside your room " (she yells at Hyun*)

he couldn't say anything to his sister and go inside her room

" *mom I will bring you another food to you* ! "

Ji Ah again goes inside the kitchen and brings food for her mom but she was already asleep in the sofa... she brings thin blanket from her room and puts on her mom,

after that she goes to her room and locks the door....she sit on the bed and tears roll down her cheek....

tears rolls down Ji Ah check. she can't cry out loud. she laid on her bad and after sometimes she falls asleep. in the morning she gets up early and clean the house. Then she cook breakfast call her brother for breakfast...

..."Hyun! Hyun! "...

"Yes sissy ! "

"Come and have breakfast ! "

"OK ! Coming "

Ji Ah then wakes up her mom,

" mom, mom! "

" humm ! "

" Wake up ! and have breakfast "

She slowly get up

" Ouch! my head is hurting "

this sentence pinch Ji Ah heart,

"then why did you drink so much"

" Darling! I didn't drink so much yesterday "

"Mom"

"What? What if I drink ? Did I cause any trouble? No na ? I always drink so but I never cross my limits. You are my child so don't try to lecture your mom "

it is always like this whenever Ji Ah try to say something to her mom she always get scolded...

Ji Ah didn't say anything and goes to have breakfast

Hyun also comes to have breakfast,

" Sissy are you alright "

Ji Ah nodes her head ,

"This mom always do this to you"

"Shh! don't say anything otherwise she will get angry "

"But sissy"

"Have your breakfast and go to school "

Hyun nods his head,

"Do you have pocket money "

"Don't lie ! Take this (Ji Ah take out some money from her pocket and gives to Hyun )"

"I really have money so keep this to yourself !sissy! you should buy some clothes for you it has been two years since you bought new clothes........."

"Why should I buy new clothes ? I have enough clothes ..... Don't make me fool ! if you have any money than show me! "

Hyun became silent and looks down,

"Hyun keep this money ! you are still young so you should hangout with your friends ! "

"But sissy ! what about you ? You are also still young so then why didn't you hangout with your friends ? "

"Hyun! don't ask any questions ! just keep this money and go have fun with your friends but it doesn't mean you can neglect your study "

" I know! I will study hard just like you sissy. And after some years I will find a good job and then you wouldn't have to work anymore...."

"Thats like my brother (she pats on Hyun head )"

Hyun goes to his room, gets ready and leave for his school. Ji Ah also gets ready and put on light makeup.....

Ji Ah POV :

[ Ji Ah it's time for you to smile (she put on a smile).... don't worry everything will be fine one day and when that times comes you can finally smile from your heart (tears rolls down from the corner of her eyes)... let work hard today ]

"Mom have your breakfast I'm going "

She left for college ,

in bus,

her phone suddenly rings. it was her dad

"Dad "

"My princess! how are you ?"

"I'm fine dad ! what about you? "

"I'm fine too darling !"

"Dad! Are you taking you medicine on time? "

"Yes darling "

"That good "

"darling"

"Yes dad"

"Does your mom still give you hard time ?"

hearing that Ji Ah heart beat increase tears rolls down her eyes as she remembers every night she face,

"No dad she doesn't "( she controls her fillings and try to sound normal )

"Really ? are you really telling me the truth"

"Yes dad "

"If so then good. Darling If you need money than call dad I will send some money to you"

"OK dad! Dad! "

"hmm"

"When are you coming home? "

"Why darling?"

"I miss you dad come fast !" ( tears rolls down her cheeks )

"I miss you too ! dad will come fast! Darling I will hang up now I have to go to work ....."

"OK dad "

he hung up the call

Ji Ah POV :

[ it's my life I can't even tell dad anything because he will be worried. actually he is a heart patient if he takes tantion then it will affect his health and maybe he will get heart attack. I never tell anything to him. I really miss him. I wish he will come home fast but also sometimes I also wish he won't come home because if he comes home and see mom condition then he will be in really great pain when my dad comes home my mom tries not to drink but she couldn't help herself and ends up getting drunk..... I don't know when it will stop. I hate my life and every night i pray that God will just take but every morning I still wake up but my real mother doesn't see the pain in my eye...... I don't know what else to do it really hurts when your real family hurts you..... ]

Ji Ah reach her college as soon as she steps inside her college she totally changed into another girl. A big and charming smile was on her face. Which can make everyone fall for her. she was looking so beautiful. her long beautiful wavy hair was shining. Her eye were deep and looking gorgeous. it was the most beautiful part of Ji Ah.

"Ji Ah "( Eun Jung runs towards her)

[Eun Jung is Ji Ah best friend]

"Let's go"

they goes to their class

in class

"Ji Ah have you done your project "

"Then please can you give it to me "

"no do it yourself why will she give it to you? can't you do it yourself " (in a rude voice )

"Don't be so rude....of course take it" (Ji Ah gives her project to girl )

"Hey why are you looking at melike that"

that girl ignore her and leaves

"Aish ! Why is this so frustrating ? Ji Ah why will you always be so kind? Can't you be little selfish huh? "

"No I can't ! Because it's the only way I can survive " ( she gives a gentle smile )

"Huh what do you mean by that "(in a confused voice)

"Nothing "(she starts to manage her books)

"Tell me ! What do you mean? huh? why wouldn't you tell me?" (she looks at Ji Ah with puppy eyes)

"Silly girl it's nothing" (she flick on Jung forehead )

"Ouch" (rubbing her forehead )

"Aren't you hungry "

"I'm so hungry "(touching her stomach )

"Let's go to cafeteria"

Ji Ah and Eun Jung goes to cafeteria

in cafeteria

"Ji Ah eat this it is so testy "

Thank you ( she gives a gentle smile )

Suddenly peace of cafeteria broke. four girls started to beat one innocent and nerd girl,

"Hey nerd ? Why are you here alone "

"I......I...... "( she trembles)

"You ! Don't you have your mouth to speak ?"

"Maybe someone cut her tounge off"

"Leave me alone" (the nerd girl somehow gathers her courage to say this word to them)

"What? What did you say ? Hahaha look now she even dared to talk back to us ! Hey! do you want to die" (she throws the food on the floor )

Everyone was watching all this excluding Ji Ah and Eun Jung but nobody dared to help because of fear of being bullied

then one girl from the bullies grab the collar of nerd girl and push her

"How dared you talk back to us huh? do you want to die ? it's been long since we teach you lesson "( she continues to push her )

"How dared you talk back to us with such ugly look. Look at her clothe."

"Yuck "

Nerd was trembling in fear tears rolls down her cheeks

"I... I..." (she trembles)

"What I?"(She grabs nerd hair and pull it up hardly )

"Ouch" (tears rolls down her cheeks )

"Don't dared to talk back to us" (she raised her hand to slap the nerd but suddenly someone grab her hand tightly and shook it up )

it was Ji Ah she couldn't handle seeing someone getting bullied like this so she decided to help her

"How dared you" (in a rude voice )

"You do you also want to die "(she yells at Ji Ah )

"Who gives you right to treat her like this"(she point at nerd)

"What does it have to do with you? how dared you grab my hand "(she leaves nerd hair and push Ji Ah ) "Hey who do you think you are "(she continue to push Ji Ah )

"Stop it"

"What if I don't" (she continue to push Ji Ah )

Eun Jung was seeing all of this but she decided to not help Ji Ah because she knew Ji Ah can fight back herself. she enjoyed the show and waited for her best friend to fight back.

that girl continued to push Ji Ah. But suddenly Ji Ah grab her wrist of that girl and twisted it she twrist her wrist more, forcing her all the way to the back

"Ouch ouch...what the hell are you doing? leave me "(she yells out in pain )

"I warn you to stop it but you didn't ."

"What the ****? who the hell do you think you are Huh? I said leave my hand "

"And who do you think you are ? you are just a spoiled children of your rich parents" (Ji Ah push the girl )

"You messed with the wrong person "(her eyes were flashing fire)

"So do you "(Ji Ah gives a smirk )

Bullies left from cafeteria and everyone in the cafeteria was adoring Ji Ah .

"Girl I knew you will give them good fight " (Jung pats on Ji Ah arms )

"Thank you Ji Ah" (the nerd girl thanks Ji Ah )

"Welcome "(Ji Ah gives a gentle smile )

"I now understand why everyone in the college take you as their role model "

Hearing this Ji Ah froze she feels like thousands of needles were piercing her heart but she hides her fillings and and gives a gentle smile on nerd

Ji Ah POV :

[ My heart feels like it was pierced by thousands of needles when that girl told me she envies me for having such a beautiful life. No one knows what I am going through. Even my best friend doesn't know what I am going through. I don't dared to tell her. I don't know until when will I have to live a life like this. I think I have lost my identity ]
