One Sided Love Always Hurtful

Chapter 1: The First Time(When everything was simple)

💜

I still remember…

I was just 6 years old.

I didn’t know what love meant…

I didn’t understand what friendship really was…

Life was just school, home, and small little moments of happiness.

And maybe that’s why…

that day felt so special.

I still remember that day so clearly… as if time chose to preserve that moment just for me. I was only six years old, lost in my tiny little world. The sun was soft, the air felt calm, and children were playing around without a care.

That day was my first day in that house.

New place… new surroundings… everything felt a little strange.

Mom was busy setting things inside, and I was getting bored…The place where I lived was quiet and a little different from the rest of the world. It was surrounded by walls on all four sides, almost like a small field of its own. Inside, there were only three houses—one of them was mine. It felt like a tiny world, peaceful and familiar.

What made it even more special were the nine litchi trees standing tall around us. In summer, their leaves would whisper with the wind, and the sweet smell of litchis would fill the air. That place held all my childhood memories

so I went straight up to the roof.

The wind was blowing softly, and the tin roof was making light sounds.

I was just looking around… when my eyes stopped at the house in front.

He was there.

Standing on his terrace.

Near the railing… completely silent.

No phone, no movement… just looking straight at me.

At first, I thought maybe I was imagining it…

but no—

He was actually looking at me.

I got a little awkward and looked away.

After a few seconds… curiosity made me look back again.

And this time—

“You’re new?” he asked directly.

I froze for a second.

That was too sudden.

I slowly nodded, “hmm…”

He kept looking at me for a few seconds, then asked,

“Name?”

"Name ? He asked again!

" Naaz..."I said in a small voice

He smirked a little… then said,

“I aabdal ,” we said casually.

“I’ll call you Olly.”

I frowned slightly. “Why?”

He gave a small smile and said,

“Just… suits you.”

There was a bit of attitude in his tone…

but somehow, it didn’t feel bad.

Then without saying anything else, he turned and walked away.

And I just stood there…

Heart beating a little fast… mind completely confused…

Thinking only one thing—

“This boy is a little strange…”

That was all that happened that day.

But somehow…

his first line —

the way he called me “Olly”…

stayed in my mind. That day ended like any other, but something inside me had quietly changed. I didn’t understand what it was, or why his smile stayed in my mind. Maybe it was nothing… or maybe, it was the beginning of a story I wasn’t ready to understand yet at that moment.

Maybe…

that was where everything began. 💔

Chapter 2 :- Under the litchi trees

That time, I was just six years old… and life was so simple. There were no worries, no understanding of complicated feelings. My days were only about playing, laughing, and enjoying every little moment.

Near our house, there was a big open field filled with litchi trees. It was summer, and the season of picking litchis had begun. That day, my mother was there, and so was his mother. They already knew each other, so they were busy talking.

I was standing nearby, a little shy… when I noticed him properly for the first time.

He had come with his elder brother. His brother behaved very normally with me, as if we already knew each other. And him… he was a little different.

There was a playful spark in his eyes.

He suddenly came near me and said,

“Why are you so quiet? Don’t you want to play?”

I didn’t say anything… I just looked at him.

Then he quickly plucked a litchi and placed it in my hand,

“Here… now you have to talk.”

I smiled a little… and maybe that was where everything began.

That day, we picked litchis together, ate them, and then started playing. Sometimes he teased me, sometimes I ran away from him. He would try to catch me, and I would laugh loudly without any reason.

He was very funny.

Sometimes he pretended to fall, sometimes he made strange faces… just to make me laugh. And I… I laughed without thinking about anything else.

His elder brother would join us sometimes, but mostly he just watched us and smiled.

After that day, whenever we met in the field, we simply played together. Our conversations were small and meaningless, yet they felt special. Sometimes he would ask,

“What should we play today?”

And I would quickly reply, “Hide and seek!”

Then we would run all over the field, lost in our own little world.

I didn’t know what all this meant… but I liked being around him. I liked hearing his laughter. And on the days he wasn’t there, I didn’t feel like playing at all.

But I was too young to understand any of it.

For me, he was just a friend to play with…

And for him, I was probably just a normal friend too.

But maybe… these small memories slowly turn into something much bigger

Sometimes, I didn’t even realize how fast time passed when I was with him. The sun would start setting, and our mothers would call us back home, yet I always wished for a little more time. Even while leaving, he would say something funny that made me laugh all the way home. Those small moments stayed with me, quietly becoming my favorite part of every day.

That day, under the litchi trees, a simple friendship had begun…

One that would slowly start meaning more to me.

But at that time…

We were just two kids,

Laughing freely, without any worries.☺️
