ep. 1: first encoutner
(it was a early Friday morning and y/n woke up to a cat meowing btw y/n is a light sleeper)
y/n is homeless so she was on the side of the road dirt path thingy magingy with people donating coins so she can buy clothes
suddenly Zuko walks past and stops as he sees her laying there tired and beaten up as she was in a fight for her sleeping spot

"what the" he walks closer curiously

*she flinches scared it's another person to beat her up*
zuko
"h-hey it's okay I won't hurt you" he says softly

"...s-stay away! please! " she pleads terrified not believing him
zuko
*he slowly steps back* "okay I get it"

"wh-why are you here?"
zuko
"I saw you on the side of the road and wanted to make sure your okay"
zuko
"you don't look okay....wanna stay at my place it's not the best but it'll work"
as they walk to his place y/n winces in pain as her legs are beaten up and a stick jabbed into her leg

*stumbles and groans in pain* "aghk f**k"
Zuko looks at y/n worried
suddenly Zuko bumps into Aang

"heya Zuko...whos the girl with you? "

"this is...i never quite got your name did i"

"no" *groans in pain*"im y/n"
zuko
"okay what's going you you've been like this for 30 minutes"

"i swear im fine!" *a sudden stab of pain causes her to fall*
zuko
"okay im carrying you, youre obviously hurt"
Aang
"ill go get Katara to help her"
Zuko carries her to a small house
zuko
"I'm not familiar with this place i live somewhere else"
y/n cries softly as the pain is unbearable
zuko
*zuko notices the stick* "oh my God okay stay still i have to pull it out"
y/n
"NO DON'T PLEASE" *y/n begs*
Zuko quickly pulls it out and y/n cries in pain just hen Katara and Aang show up
katara
"oh my goodness" *Katara helps heal her to help the wound*
after all that happened Katara and Aang leave Zuko with y/n still shaking
zuko
"i know that hurt and I'm sorry but if it was in any longer you could get an infection"
