Damon Vale is the youngest of three brothers in his family. His eldest brother is a highly respected lawyer with great intelligence and knowledge. He is married and acts as the backbone of the family. Damon listens only to him and follows everything he says.

The middle brother is arrogant and cold toward others, but deeply devoted to the woman he loves. He can do anything for her.

Damon’s father and Mabel’s father are cousins, which connects both families closely.

Mabel lived far away from her hometown because of her father’s work, while Damon continued living in their hometown, XYZ City. Mabel didn’t know anything about Damon.

When they were children, they had met only a few times. Mabel barely remembered those moments, but Damon remembered everything about her. He had liked her since childhood.

In July, Mabel’s grandmother died from a heart attack. After her death, Mabel returned to her hometown, and that was the time she truly met Damon for the first time

During the time Mabel’s grandmother died, Mabel and her family were on a vacation in a hill station. They had gone there to enjoy the mountains, the chilly weather, and the beautiful waterfalls. Everyone was happy and spending quality time together.

One evening, while they were out shopping for groceries and other things, Mabel’s father, Lucien, received a phone call from Killian. In a panicked voice, Killian said, “Aunt had a heart attack… please come fast.”

They were nearly 700 kilometers away from their hometown. Shocked and terrified, the family immediately packed their belongings and left that same night.

They reached home around 4 a.m. the next morning.

As soon as they arrived, they saw that Mabel’s grandmother had already passed away. The entire house had fallen silent with grief. Mabel broke down in tears, and her whole family was devastated by the loss....

After the funeral and all the rituals were completed, Mabel’s family decided to stay in their hometown for at least two to four months. During that time, Mabel and Damon slowly grew closer and eventually started falling for each other.

Mabel has an elder sister and a younger brother. As the days passed, Mabel’s family and Damon’s family became very close. Both families cared deeply for one another and shared a strong bond.

Damon was known as a playboy. He had been involved in many relationships and affairs, but despite his reputation, he had never truly touched any woman emotionally or physically. For him, it was more about popularity and attention — he liked being admired and wanted every girl to fall for him and become his girlfriend.

While their families spent more time together, Damon couldn’t stop looking at Mabel with passion and love in his eyes. In the beginning, Mabel rarely spoke to him. Damon was always the one taking the first step, starting conversations, and trying to get closer to her.

Sometimes, Damon would casually talk about his girlfriends and past relationships while Mabel quietly listened to him.

Even then, Damon noticed every little thing about Mabel — the way she spoke, her expressions, her silence, and the smallest details others ignored. Whenever he looked at her, his eyes were filled with affection and admiration.

During their school days, Damon fell in love with a girl named Dia. They loved each other deeply. Damon was attracted to her beautiful smile and childish behavior, while Dia loved him with all her heart. Damon was Dia’s first love, and they spent seven years together.

Dia knew that Damon was a playboy. Even though she tried to change him into a better man, she could not do it because Damon was stubborn and never listened to her. Still, Damon truly loved her innocence, and Dia loved him very much too. He gave her everything she needed, and as the years passed, his love for her became even stronger.

But slowly, Dia started liking someone else. Damon loved her sincerely and wanted to marry her, so when his friends told him that Dia had feelings for another boy, he could not tolerate it. He went to Dia and asked her directly if she liked someone else, but Dia denied it. Because Damon trusted her deeply, he chose to believe only her at that time

On the other hand, Mable slowly started developing feelings for Damon. She did not know why she liked him so much, but her feelings for him were deep and intense.

Damon and Dia had met during their school days, and whenever they had free time, they loved going out together. However, Damon mostly preferred spending time at home. He often visited Mable’s house, stayed there for long periods, and enjoyed spending time with her family. In fact, he spent most of his time at Mable’s house.

Whenever Damon was with Mable, he always talked about Dia. Mable often wondered why he spoke about Dia all the time. She used to think, “Is Dia really that beautiful?” At that time, Mable was not fully aware of her own feelings for Damon.

All six cousins spent a lot of time together, laughing, talking, and enjoying each other’s company. But whenever Mable looked at Damon, she felt something different inside her heart.

After some time, they all started sleeping together in a rooftop room with a transparent ceiling through which the night sky could be seen clearly. The stars twinkled beautifully, and the soft moonlight fell on all of them, creating a peaceful atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed those moments, but Mable and Damon always ended up sleeping beside each other.

This happened so often that it slowly became a routine for all the cousins to sleep together there every night.

Mable’s feelings for Damon grew stronger day by day. Whenever he talked about Dia, she did not like it, but she could never say anything. She knew she had no right to tell him, “Stop talking about Dia.”

As time passed, Mable and Damon started talking to each other more and more. They spent hours sitting together and having conversations.

Damon often took sneaky glances at Mable whenever she spoke or talked to someone else. He could not stop staring at her and noticed every little thing she did. Slowly, he began to admire everything about her—her eyes, her lips, her smile, and even the smallest details about her personality. Without realizing it, Damon was becoming deeply attracted to Mable.

Mable and Damon were sleeping in the rooftop room while everyone else stayed in their own rooms. Late at night, they sat together talking quietly, sharing little stories and memories from their lives. The soft silence between them slowly grew warmer and more intimate.

As they talked, Damon slowly reached for Mable’s hand. She thought holding hands was something normal, so she gently held his hand back. Her innocent touch made Damon’s heart race.

After a while, Damon carefully placed his hand on her soft stomach. Mable didn’t stop him. Instead, his touch made her feel nervous in a strange but pleasant way. Deep inside, she wanted him to touch her more. Damon slowly moved his hand upward, making her heart beat faster and faster.

The moment his touch became more intimate, Mable suddenly realized what was happening. Her face turned red with nervousness. She quickly pulled away from him and ran back to her room. Sitting alone on her bed, she tried to understand everything.

“Was that real… or just a dream?” she whispered to herself.

Mable was pure and innocent, someone who knew very little about such feelings. She couldn’t believe what had just happened between her and Damon. A part of her felt guilty because she thought it was wrong to feel this way about her brother. She also remembered Dia and felt even more confused. Yet no matter how much she tried to deny it, somewhere deep in her heart, she had liked his touch… because she loved Damon.

Meanwhile, Damon stayed alone on the rooftop, unable to stop thinking about her.

“Is she okay?” he wondered nervously. “Will she stop talking to me after this?”

Damon truly loved Mable. More than anything, he needed her in his life

The next morning, neither Mable nor Damon had been able to sleep the entire night. Both of them were lost in their thoughts, unable to forget what had happened on the rooftop.

When Mable saw Damon in the morning, she avoided talking to him. Her mind was filled with confusion and worry. She kept wondering if what happened between them was wrong. Every time Damon looked at her, her heart became restless.

Damon tried several times to speak to her, but Mable couldn’t respond properly because there were so many people around them. The silence between them felt heavy and awkward.

Later, when Mable was finally alone, Damon came to her. He gently held her hand and looked at her nervously.

“Please, Mable… I’m sorry,” he said softly. “I never wanted to make you uncomfortable.”

Mable quietly listened to him. After a moment, she gave him a small smile and said, “It’s okay.”

She didn’t mention the incident again, and neither did Damon. Slowly, everything started becoming normal between them again. They laughed together, talked like before, and stayed close to each other.

But deep inside, something had changed.

Their feelings for each other had grown stronger, and the love between them had become deeper than before.
