A windy stormy night, a young woman, sitting near a bench outside a building drinking a bottle of wine and smoking in the middle of the night with the heavy rain, across the road.

"So freaking annoying stop calling me, you all pissed me off." muttered the woman drunk throwing her phone in the middle of the wet road

From a distance, footsteps were heard approaching her, but she couldn't see clearly who was walking towards her. Suddenly, the person sat beside her. He was a man, she couldn't really see his face, his face is blurry to her, because she is drunk.

"Looking up at the sky at night while drinking wine it is very romantic" said the guy besides her

"What's your name?" he asked facing towards her

"I'm Katherine Dullinghan" reply the woman sipping wine, Katherine Dullinghan

"Katherine, what a beautiful name" said the guy sat beside her

She couldn't really see the man, she knew he was wearing a suit and looked rather tall, and his face was unclear his hair seemed to be a brunette and his eyes were not clear brown or amber, she couldn't really see his face.

"So why are you sitting here alone Katherine, staring at the sky while drinking and smoking?" ask the guy to her

"I'm just so pissed with my life right now" said Katherine taking another sip of her bottle of wine

"Let me guess, just broke up with your boyfriend?" said the guy try to guess

"No, I've never been in a relationship before, it's just an almost and never real." said reply Katherine drunk to the guy

"So what do you do for living, do you have a job, families, friends?" ask the guy making more questions to ask her

Because she was so drunk, she didn't care or pay attention to the guy's questions, she just answered with what she felt now.

"No, I don't have any of them" she answered proudly and annoyed, and later she fainted just after that

The next day Katherine opened her eyes and was shocked because she immediately saw her reflection with make-up and a veil on her head. It turned out she was in a dressing room and wearing a white wedding dress.

Shocked and confused, she asked her hairdresser and makeup stylist a number of questions.

"What's happening, what's going on, why am I here dressing up?" ask Katherine stunned in disbelief looking at them felt a little dizzy and nauseous

Katherine was then pushed by the two of them to the aisle, where she was given a bouquet of roses, In the aisle, the door was about to be opened, she wanted to escape because what was this, waking up and was immediately married to someone she didn't even know, in the middle of the morning.

When she was about to turn, two men wearing black suits pointed guns at her, because she was afraid and panicked, she finally turned back to the door and walked inside the church, and it was empty, no one was there, except a priest standing at the altar trembling and shaking, as if he had been threatened.

Suddenly, familiar footsteps were heard coming from behind. Terrified, Katherine slowly turned back and saw a man with brunette hair and hazel eyes walking towards her, looking very charming, and tall, wearing a fancy suit.

"Make it quick, please" said the guy standing next to Katherine arrogantly

Katherine was very terrified, and tightly gripping her dress while her other hand was holding bouquets, she remembered that he was the man last night, she thought that guy was just a dream, but what was this, she started asking him questions.

"What's going on, can you explain, is this a play or what, why am I standing here in a gown are we both getting married, I don't even know you?" said Katherine scared backing off a little

"I know you, you're Katherine Dullinghan" said the guy gave her a cold smile staring at her

"Alright, are you Mr...?" said the priest stopped

"Parker" said the guy

"Are you Mr. Parker will take Ms. Dullinghan as your wife?" ask the priest saying the vow

"I will" he answered while staring at her

Katherine was annoyed, she never dreamed of this kind of things to happened before, this is a nightmare.

"No, I'm not going to" shouted Katherine staring at him annoyed

"Now you're both husband and wife" the priest didn't care he just said finished it, and running away as fast as he can from the altar

"Alright now one picture" said the guy suddenly pointing at a camera holding by one of the black suit man there

"What are you going to do?" ask Katherine tried to run away too

Unexpectedly, suddenly the guy named Parker gave her a kiss on the lips, and a photo was taken of it, she was shocked and trembling, a kiss from a psychopath, it's a nightmare.

"What are you doing?" ask Katherine shocked and stunned by that kiss

"Proof" he replied

As the man was about to leave the church and told Katherine to hurry up and follow him, Katherine instead started asking him questions.

"Exactly, who are you actually, do we know each other, why are you doing this to me?" ask Katherine to the guy pulled his sleeves act brave

"I will not go with you, I stopped here" said Katherine standing still in the front door

Suddenly the man took something out of his pocket and put it on Katherine's forehead threatening her that if she didn't come with them then she would die here.

"Alright..., I'll go with you, just don't shoot me, and put it back alright?" said Katherine her heart beating fast she's gripping tight her white dress following him to a gray car

At that moment the door opened and only the two of them were in the car, Parker drove the car quickly, and they headed towards the highway. Katherine, who had just woken up from a hangover, was driving at full speed, making her very nauseous and dizzy.

"Can you slow down, I'm feeling sick" said Katherine trying to reach his sleeves

"We're running out of time honey, if I had time I would also like to slow down, and enjoy the moment" said the guy steering even faster

"What exactly are you going to do, were both going to crash to death if you don't slow down right now..., don't tell me?" said Katherine to him holding her nauseous staring at him shocked

"Don't be scared Katherine, I will always remember your kindness" said Parker and then the both of them crashed in the highway, all the blackout and noises on her ears was loud, she thought it was end of her life, the purpose car crash, her life flashed upon her.

A few minutes later, her eyes opened, she thought she was already in other side, her head hurt, she touched it gently, it turned out her head was bleeding a little, she had to get out of here quickly because she saw oil starting to come out from behind the car.

But unfortunately her dress got caught near the chair and this made it difficult for her to get out, so she tried with all her might to tear the part off and took off her heels and ran on the highway in the early morning.

On the highway, no one noticed her, they just thought she was one of the models having an embarrassing photo shoot. The highway was still quiet, then Katherine saw a taxi and got in it.

The thing that impressed Katherine was that the guy, Parker was missing, his body was not in the car at all, what happened was he dead and fell into the sea or was he still alive and running away.

"Are you doing a photo shoot today, your dress and makeup it was unique?" ask the driver to her

"No, I'm not" reply Katherine counting the time

"The makeup on your face looks so realistic that fake blood is so cool" praise the driver to her

"Because it's real, and now you better hurry up, please." Katherine said in a cracking voice to the driver

And suddenly a loud bang sound was heard from behind, the gray car had exploded and sped up. After some time, she finally arrived at her house, terrified and disbelief that she just survived the death.

"What is actually happening why is it so confusing?" muttered Katherine walk inside her home

After that her heart was still beating fast, her head was dizzy and bleeding, she was overwhelmed, and nauseous, finally she called one of her friends, Amanda Toire.

"Hey Kate, what's up?" ask Amanda after picking up the phone

"Amy, can you please come to my house real quick?" said Katherine on the phone exhausted and trembling

Katherine walked to the couch in her living room and sat there looking around, wondering if this was real or a dream, remembering her wedding dress that was torn and stained by blood a little.

"Is this all real?" muttered Katherine shaking voice looking around her house

After a while Amanda finally opened the door and entered, she was shocked to see Katherine sitting on the sofa cleaning the wound on her head.

"Kate, what happened, why are you on a wedding dress, and bleeding?" ask Amanda put her bag on the floor and went to the sink to look for the first aid kit

"I just survived the death, someone is just trying to kill me" said Katherine scared getting up from the couch walking towards Amanda

"We should go to the hospital" said Amanda couldn't believe her after hearing her story

Amanda thought she was on drugs and trying to hurt herself, so she tells her to go to the hospital.

"We should go to the hospital, now, it's dangerous" said Amanda approaching her with some first aid kit medicine

"No we can't..., his body is not there..., what if he is there and tries to kill me for the second time, I don't want that to happen" said Katherine grabbing Amanda hand tightly

Because Amy is a nurse, she ended up giving Katherine basic first aid, because her injuries were not that serious.

"Alright done, we'll still go to the hospital later" said Amanda washing her hand on the sink

"Thank you for your help" said Katherine while drinking a cup of warm water

"So can you tell me what actually was going on?" ask Amanda to Katherine sat beside her in the kitchen dining table

So Katherine started to told Amanda everything she remembered from the night after she got drunk, the sudden wedding, and the car that was deliberately crashed in the highway. Hearing Katherine's story, Amanda was quite shocked and didn't believe it.

"I know this is hard to understand but do I look like someone who would do this, setting myself up like this and creating a fake scenario, for what?" said Katherine annoyed and sharply to Amanda

Hearing that, Amanda was silent for a moment, she knew Katherine wasn't this kind of person, so she decided to trust her.

"You're right, you wouldn't, so if there is anything you remember about him, so we could report him to the police, for an investigation" said Amanda to Katherine trying to cheer her up

"I don't know anything about him other than his face, not even his name" she replied staring at the glass her hand still trembling

"Yes, I'm fine, thank you for your concern." reply Katherine smiled

"Okay then, how about joining us later for lunch?" ask Priscilla about to walk away

"Yeah sure, I will" reply Katherine going back to her job

Katherine works at a high-tech production company, she works as an assistant manager, helping the manager to schedule and planning others side job.

Two months passed, and her life returned to normal. She had started to forget the accident, and tried to live a normal life again. But one morning when she was about to go to work, she got something in the mail.

"What's this, a mail, since when did I have this many letters?" muttered Katherine was about heading to work picking up the few letters scattered on the floor

After opening it, she was shocked because it contained a threat that said "Tell us where he is, don't try to hide, we all know about you." "He isn't dead right, we know that you both faking it." reading all those letters made her heart beating fast who meant they were real, fake, dead, what is it all about.

Katherine turned the letter over to see the sender's address, but there was no clear address, the sender was also anonymous, how could this happen.

"What's going on, why do the letters all tell the same things?" muttered Katherine shivering looking around her house

Because she was afraid, she finally rushed out of the house and went to the office to divert her anxiety, carrying those letters.

"I'm not making up a fairy tale, it was real, I swear" said Katherine staring at Priscilla really serious

"So, what's his name, how can you know his face without even know his name?" ask Priscilla to Katherine

"I don't know his name, but wait I remember he once said to a priest that day Parker, that's only I know" said Katherine to Priscilla

"So this is what you've been worrying about the last few months about that guy named Parker?" ask Priscilla to Katherine

"Parker doesn't seem to be his first name, but his last name." said Katherine to Priscilla

"So that's making you Katherine Dullinghan Parker, right?" said Priscilla teasing her in the middle of her seriousness

"No we are not legally married, so that mean I'm not a Parker" reply Katherine annoyed

"Whatever you say" said Priscilla still couldn't believe her

That evening she had dinner with Amanda at a restaurant, and she finally told Amanda about the letter she received that morning.

"What the heck is this, should we report it to the police?" said Amanda after reading those letters

"Yes, I think it has something to do with that guy, Parker" said Katherine sipping her glass of wine

"Hey Kate, do you remember Tom Anderson?" ask Amanda suddenly to Katherine tossing her glass to her

"Tom Anderson, it seems familiar?" Katherine said staring at Amanda curious

"Tom, who went to the same school as us in high school, is now back, and he's a lawyer if I'm not mistaken." said Amanda smiling at her

Now Katherine remembers that Tom was one of her old crushes from high school, no wonder Amanda had been grinning all this time, it turns out Katherine forgot that she used to have a crush on Tom.

"Yeah I remember him now, my ex-crush, I didn't expect him to be here" said Katherine awkward

"This is going to be an epic gathering at our class reunion this coming Saturday." said Amanda to Katherine smiling

"He's still single" said Amanda teasing Katherine about it

After finishing dinner with Amanda, she finally went to the police station to report the threats in the letter she received.

"Excuse me I'm Katherine Dullinghan, and I'm here to report a threat." said Katherine to the police officer at a counter

"Katherine Dullinghan, It's been a long time since I heard that name, how are you?" ask the police officer at the counter suddenly start gretting her warmly

"Excuse me, do we know each other?" ask Katherine a little confused about it

"I'm Cameron Hepburn, we were in the same class in high school, remember?" said the police officer, Cameron Hepburn

"Oh I remember Cameron the funny kid who always made jokes about national security system, wow, that's ironic, isn't it, considered you're now a police officer?" said Katherine gave him an awkward smile

"Nope that's why I work here to fix it myself, so what do you need to come here, Katherine?" ask Cameron to Katherine pointing a place for them to talk about the case

"I have experienced several threats recently, I was sent a letter from an unknown address, and it contained threats, I want you to find out who sent it and why." said Katherine handing those letters to Cameron

"Alright, is this all your report or are there any other threats?" ask Cameron to Katherine while looking at those letters

"No, that's all" replied Katherine getting up from her seat

"Alright then, I will inform you later if I have found clarity regarding this letter, oh and see you at the reunion event." said Cameron gave her a warm smile and walking away to a investigation room
