Resonance of the Dual Sovereigns

The Past of A Legend

Deep in The Void of Xylos, the sky over Xylos bled a dark purple as Ryusuke parried another strike, his blade humming against the tide of Elite Demons. A war between a single man and the Supreme Demons of the Realm. The man was fighting to protect his wife and escape from this world.

Hiyori: Ryusuke, please... look at you. Every time you fight, you lose a piece of yourself. Is freedom really worth your life?

Ryusuke: I've come too far to turn back now, Hiyori. The Ancient Texts of The Brahmalok Archives didn't lie—the gate to another world is here, somewhere in this Void.

Amidst the chaos of war, three Generals from the Octagram—a council of eight Demon Lords who serve a mysterious being - come to join the war.

Ryusuke: Still lurking in the shadows? What’s the matter—is your boss too terrified to face me after I wiped out his precious Legion? (Inner Thought: Damn it, I’m running on fumes. These guys are the real deal. Malphas, Xevioso, Lysithea... if they move together, I'm in serious trouble.)

Xevioso: Terrified? You’ve got a big mouth for a man who's about to die. You might have beaten the fodder, but you haven't seen anything yet. Our Master doesn't quit—he just waits for the right moment to strike.

Lysithea: Calm down, Xevioso. He’s exhausted; let’s not make this more dramatic than it needs to be. But don't underestimate him—he's no rookie. He’s the Calamity of the Stars, The Commander of the Celestial Requiem.

Having remained silent until now, Malphas suggests finishing Ryusuke with one decisive, combined blow. As Lysithea and Xevioso concur, the elite demon legions intensify their assault. The very air begins to distort as the three generals chant, channeling their collective might.

Ryusuke started to panic to see the generals launch an attack with such a high power. He thinks to use his last resort to counter this.

"You leave me no choice," Ryusuke hissed, his voice echoing with a cold, absolute resolve. "If this is what it takes to shield Hiyori from monsters like you... so be it. Ultimate Skill: Singularity Apocalypse!"

The atmosphere didn’t just shift; it broke. Ryusuke’s mana erupted, a pillar of violet-black energy that tore through the sky, instantly dwarfing the combined presence of the three Demon Lords. Beneath his feet, the very bedrock of the Void of Xylos began to groan and fracture, unable to contain the sheer density of his power.

"He’s actually using it!?" Xevioso’s voice cracked, the arrogance stripped away by pure terror. "Against just us? He's insane!"

Lysithea stared, her eyes wide as she tracked the rising energy readings. "It isn't stopping... his power was already beyond ours, but now... it’s transcending the laws of this realm entirely."

"Enough talk!" Malphas roared, though even he couldn't hide the tremor in his hands. "If we don't kill him now, there won't be a world left to rule! Everything you have—now!"

The three icons of darkness surged forward, their auras intertwining into a jagged, frozen storm. "Combined Ultimate Skill: Frost Eruption of Hell!"

The collision was deafening—a silent, blinding white-out that leveled the horizon. The shockwave didn't just kill the surrounding army; it erased them. Atom by atom, the Void was hollowed out.

As the frost faded and the Demon Generals stood drained, their mana pools bone-dry, a terrifying silhouette emerged from the smoke.

Ryusuke didn't stop. Driven by a singular, burning will to protect, he stepped forward. His sword hummed with a frequency that made the air bleed. With one final, agonizing scream of effort, he thrust the blade forward. He didn't just strike their bodies; he pierced the space itself.

The space surrounding the Demon Lords spider-webbed, then shattered like glass. In a flash of absolute darkness, the three lords were consumed by the rift, their existence extinguished in a heartbeat.

Silence fell, heavy and suffocating.

Ryusuke’s knees hit the land. The light in his eyes flickered and died as his power vanished, leaving him hollowed out. In that moment, the shadow realm he had used to hide Hiyori dissolved. She tumbled onto the land, catching his limp body just before he hit the ground.

"Ryusuke? Ryusuke, wake up!" she sobbed, clutching his cold hands.

But the universe wasn't finished.

A jagged, obsidian crack opened silently beneath them—a wound in the Fabric of the Realm caused by his final attack. Before Hiyori could scream, the ground vanished. Bound together by fate and a failing heartbeat, they plummeted into the crushing dark of Deep Space—a realm where no map exists, where space and time stop working, and no soul has ever returned.
