Personality:Quiet, Sharp, easily irritated
Like:Silence, sketching, late night music
Dislike:Attention, loud people, being teased
Family:Big brother(Yoo Minjae, 22)
Type:Cold, outside softbut stubborn inside
Lee Sora:Friends with both Hajun and Taehyun
will appear later in the story

The Boy Who Didn't Look Away
Yoo Hajun didn't like noise. That was the first thing he decided about the new school year.
The second thing he decided within ten seconds of stepping into class 11-B was that the new transfer student was going to be a problem.
Kang Taehyun didn't introduce himself like normal people did. He didn't bow. He didn't smile politely. He walked in like he already belonged there.
Teacher
Sit wherever there's space.
He glanced around once. Saw an empty sit beside Yoo Hajun and walked towards the sit.
The chair scraped. The bag dropped. A pen clicked once. Then twice. Yoo Hajun kept his eyes forward.
Kang Taehyun
So you're the quiet one huh
Yoo Hajun
I didn't ask to be labeled
Kang Taehyun
That's exactly what a quiet person would say.
Hajun finally turned slightly.
Taehyun was leaning back in his chair, looking at him like he was interesting.
Kang Taehyun
I'm not starting. I am observing.
Yoo Hajun
There's a difference?
Kang Taehyun
Yeah, one is passive. One is personal.
Hajun turned back forward immediately.
Taehyun leaned forward slightly.
Kang Taehyun
What's your name? Mines Kang Taehyun
Yoo Hajun
You don't need to know.
Kang Taehyun
Ohh, come on, don't be like that now. I told you mine right. Come on say your name.
Yoo Hajun
I didn't ask you to tell me your name.
Both of them stayed quiet for a while bet after sometime Taehyun started talking again in small voice
Kang Taehyun
Yoo Hajun huh. Nice name
Kang Taehyun
Yoo Hajun (says softly)
Hajun's grip tightens on his pen
Yoo Hajun
Don't say my name like that
Yoo Hajun
Like you already know me.
Kang Taehyun leaned back again.
Kang Taehyun
I think I might.
Yoo Hajun didn't respond. But for someone, he couldn't focus for the rest of the class.
Kang Taehyun smiled behind him like he hadn't just found something interesting. And Yoo Hajun hated that he noticed it.

By the second day, Hajun had already decided one thing. Ignore Taehyun completely.
But Taehyun didn't behave like someone who wanted to be ignored. He behaved like someone who enjoyed being noticed.
Whenever Hajun stood, Taehyun stood. Whenever Hajun moved, Kang Taehyun moved at the same time. Not obvious. Just enough to be felt.
At lunch, Yoo Hajun went to the rooftop. Quite, empty, perfect. At least it should have been.
Yoo Hajun
Leave.(Tells without looking up)
Kang Taehyun
I like it here.(He sits down anyway)
Yoo Hajun
You weren't here yesterday.
Kang Taehyun
I discovered it today.
Hajun finally looked at him.
Yoo Hajun
I didn't invite you.
Kang Taehyun opened his drink slowly.
Kang Taehyun
You don't talk to people much, do you?
Yoo Hajun
I don't need to.
Kang Taehyun didn't argue. He just watched him for a second longer than necessary.
Kang Taehyun
You are always like this?
Kang Taehyun
Like you're already annoyed before anything even happens.
Kang Taehyun didn't stop him. But just before Yoo Hajun walked away.
Kang Taehyun
I think you are afraid of people noticing you.
Yoo Hajun froze for half a second than walked away without looking back.
Kang Taehyun stayed behind, watching him leave, like he had just confirmed something important. And he just smiled.
