**Caught in Camera**

I was excited.

The business trip finish earlier so, I'm going to surprise my fiance.

My heart beat fast... So fast that it make me nervous. I didn't know why would I feel so nervous or maybe I'm just to excited to surprise my fiance.

I'm a blogger myself not famous like a celebrity but I have 2.5 million followers not small not big but it's enough to make me small time celebrity.

I start my live because I know my fiance was sleeping already.

" Hi, guys I'm currently going to surprise my fiance so support me ok little darlings " I said in a sweet tone.

" I just finish a job abroad and my fiance don't know that it done earlier than schedule so I'm going to surprise him " I was talking to my fans happily.

" Ohh, he won't know it. At time like this he was already sleeping so I'm sure he won't see my live " I told them.

" Ohh I miss you too my little darlings I was so busy for a few weeks that I only upload some short videos to let you knows I'm doing good " I answered one of the comments.

" Ohh I'm excited little darlings, I'm already at the parking lot and going to enter the elevator so... Let surprise him together, ok " I told them and bring the paper bags that have gifts for him.

It's dark even the nightlamp near the bed was off. Is he not here? He didn't told me that he was going to his parents house.

I slow my movement and like a thief I click the lights so that I could see.

" Ah sh!+ Who open the light ? " He ask angrily " can't you see I'm sleeping " still adjusting his eyes to the light.

I was shock, so shock that I'm shaking.

" Eric, do not call me that it disgust me. Answer my question that's all " I said and waited for them to speak.

" Since both of you don't want to talk, Eric. There's no weeding next month ther--- " Eric cut me off kneel in front of me crying.

" Eric, how long? " I ask again.

" Don't call me that you send shiver through my skin and bones. Calling me sister while f*¢king my fiance where did you put you face? How thick was that ? " I ask her calmly.

" How long? Or you want me to ask an investigator to how long you've been cheating on me? " I said.

" A y-- year " Eric was shaking when he answer me.

" Why? " I ask again.

" You won't let me touch you until marriage and I was frustrated I got drunk and have a night with Sophia since then we've been together " he confess.

" I love you, Lynn I want to marry you. Sophia was just a pass time " he beg while hugging my legs. I saw the pain in Sophia's eyes but I don't feel pity on it.

partner. " I calmly stated to him.

" You know it's a mistake, but you where so indulge on it that you did not remember that you love me " I push him away and force my way out of his grip.

" I'm sorry but if you can do this... I know you will do this again... If your love was so shallow I don't need it " I said and walk away.

I was not mad.

Really.

I feel relieved.

I do love him, but I don't feel secured towards his love. I feel insecure every meeting with his friends, his family's or other events.

But it's true, I want to preserve my self for my weeding night. That's the only perfect gift I could gave to the man I expensing my life with.

I drive back to my parents house. I saw that the lights are still open, as if they knew I arrived this late.

I park my car and stay there.

I don't know how to face them...

If they knew, will they look disappointed?

From the beginning they don't really like Eric, now I know why.

Parents who love and care for you will see if you are cherish like how they cherish you.

I thought they don't like Eric because of his noche riche attitude.

Well Eric is a second generation rich kids, but he was not arrogant like others.

I took a deep breath to calm my nerves before I open the car door and walk to the doors.

After coming near the front door I don't know if I should open it or turn away and sleep some near hotel.

" You should open the door when you want to came inside " when I heard it... My heart shook and my tears start to fall.

" I'm home " my voice broke from stopping my shaking.

" Welcome home princess, " he greet me warmly like he always did. My father was like a mother who will be there when I need support.

And mother like a father silently protecting what treasure she had.

" Hushh, stop crying you look like monkey like you father. " My mother said as she wipe my tears.

" I'm sorry, I disappointed you " I said in broken voice. " I know you want a perfect partner for me but I stubbornly think he was the one... I was wrong ... Really wrong " I cried at my mother's embrace while father take a water for me so I could moised my throat.

" We don't need a perfect partner for you, we just need someone who will be treasure you more than us. But we support you because you were so happy with him. " My mother's said a she caress my hair.

" So what's your plan? " My father ask me while still in my mother's embrace.

" There's no need for the weeding I'll talk to my attorney tomorrow morning and I need to relax my mind from this events " I said while still hiccuping.

" Why not visit your friends from other country " mom suggested and I think it's good. I know it's look like I'm running but my emotion and mind was in chaos, I need a relaxing place where no one knows me exist.

" I want to visit my friend, from china " I said to my parents. They still silent before nodding in approval, they meet Chen Xi before and they quickly become long time friends. Xi is kind of friendly and bubbly that everything she experience or curious about will have an answer in second because she won't stop until her curiosity fulfilled.

My parents like Xi, because of her outgoing personality and my parents relax around her. So, my parents have a big trust to Xi.

I fall asleep that night with heavy mind but relax heart.

As soon as wake up I called my attorney for the cancelation of the weeding and compensation. 70% of the weeding preparations was my money because I don't want Eric's parents to think that I'm a gold digger.

Before lunch everything was settled down, as I book my flight to China and talk with Xi about my plan this month. Where actually not rich but because I don modeling and blogger I have millions of income.

My parents actually don't work anymore I gave them allowance and all their bills was on me. I was proud that my parents gave me an amazing genes, with this I could have money.

I pack my things and it just small bag, I won't bring to much maybe I would buy some new clothes there so no need to bring much.

My parents was sad but they knew I need this vacation. I don't open my phone after I finish all my business. I already told my other friends that after I came back I change a new sim so wait for it.

As I boarded on the plane, I don't know what will happen now. When I arrive at the airport and saw my friend waving her @ss to me I laughed.

" Long time no see, Xi " I smile.

" Yeah it's been a long time, Lynn I was so happy to see again after 3 years " she greeted me back and as we walk away from airport we talk about some simple things about the past.

" Actually I was shock when you said you want to stay with me " she started driving away.

" Well, just something happens so I need a cool off for now " I said with a sad smile.

" I know, it's kind of viral now " she said.

" Ahh, viral? What's viral? " I ask her then I was kick suddenly by the realizations.

" F*¢k! I forgot that. " My eyes was big enough like it's coming out of my sucket because of shock.

" I was so focus to the sudden discovery that I forgot that I did take a live video of that event... Now I know why my parents knew I was coming. " As I speak with shock expression Xi laugh at me.

" Haha, well they do deserve that. At least you didn't get married before you learn that he was not a good guy " she was laughing when she said that.

" Alright, stop thinking of it. Let's just enjoy this vacation of yours " as we continue to our way home I couldn't help but feel guilty.

That must be a reason why my friends frantically calling me and asking me if I was ok, I literally broadcast my tragic love life that only happen in drama.

We arrive at her condo. Xi was also a model and a cosplayer. I do sometimes collab with her, but we just do our own business.

" Hey, if you are bored or hungry eat or read some books the black door was my mini library. " she said when she take me to my room. I can't stay on her room because she do love stream in the evening, so I was staying to the other room.

" Yeah, thanks sis " I smile at her and lay in bed. As I close my eyes, I feel not tired anymore. I should read some of her books, until I fall asleep.

" Darling Xi I'll go to your library to get some books " I shouted at her because she was in her room.

" Ok, do as you please " she shouted back. I walk at the black door, open it and my jaw almost hit the bottom. I know she loves reading but this ... It's heaven to all readers... Well she has money for this so it's good. I just randomly take few books and bring it back in my room while taking some snacks.

As I sit on my bed to read the books I take, I saw this very unique books. ' Beauty and the beasts ' hmm, let's read it first.

4 hours later...

" Ohh it's so beautiful... I wish men in this world was like this... At least having this beast mark they won't betray their female. " I commented while still reading it.

" I really don't like this Parker although as time goes his characters matured I don't like his way of always fighting for attention to the point he doesn't see how uncomfortable Bai was. " As I continue my criticism to Parker I heard a knock.

" Yes " I look at the door and see Xi looking at me with raise eyebrows.

" You read that? " She ask while sit beside me.

" Yeah it's kind of amazing plot and story " I said to her and look at her with questioning eyes.

" Hehe, let's eat first and talk about my request " she nervously laugh. I know this

As we eat our dinner, Xi started asking me if I can go with her in a cosplay events two days from now.

I look at her with a threatening eyes, because she knows I don't do cosplay.

" Please, you will be bored if you stay here ok, so just come with me and you can enjoy the events too "  she pout her lips like a duck.

" Fine, be thankful your my friend or I'll murder you in my head  " I said and finish my food. As we cleaning our things she ask me about my plan.

" So what's your plan now? Your almost at 30 " Xi ask me.

" I don't know, if I was given a second chance to have a partner... A right partner then why not accept it right?  " I shrug

" And I don't have plans, for now maybe I focus on my career more than my personal life. " As I wipe my hands I look at her.

"  I was not desperate to be married anyway it's a good things I discovered it earlier than be a big joke to the social medias. " I laugh lightly.

"  The title of the news will be,  ' The model and blogger Lynn was cheated by her husband and best friend '  that would be embarrassing  " I look at her, forcing my lips to smile.

"  Look, I know it's hurt you badly but look at the good side. At least you were not married before you learn the truth no obligation, no divorce " she hug me while comforting me.

" You know what, I was really not hurt... I was just... Disappointed... 9 years and a 29 years of being boyfriend and best friend... They just throw it for flesh calling... I will not get angry if it's unknown girl... But no, it her... A girl who I known since we were a baby... A girl I trust with every little secrets I have...  " I can't stop my self from crying.

I was heartbroken by this betrayal but relief by the burden slipping away from me.  Eric was never a husband material, he was a boyfriend material. He was not ready to settle down, and I know that. Call me hypocrite but I can't find anything that will be a valid reason to brake up with him.

And caught them up that time was like a blessing in disguise.  I was relief but also guilty... How could I forgot the live? Because I was shock to what I see.

How I forgot about it going viral? Because my mind is in chaos and I want to run away from that trouble, and I did.

I look at the window, the city lights was beautiful and kind of peaceful too.

My life here become a blurred in second.

Two days later.

"  Lynn what kind of cosplay you want to do?  Let's see your hair color is silver who's character is perfect for you, hmm "  she was thinking of what kind of cosplay I want but really...

" Arg, I don't want to cosplay anyone I'll put a purple contact lenses and that's all " I said in frustration.

" Ok fine " she comply while pouting.

  " Here, where this seductive nun clothes at least you look like cosplaying with this.  " she gave me a fitted nun clothes with both legs are slit.

"  I didn't know nun were this kind of clothing " I ask with raise eyebrow.

" Ohh I read it in some of manga their nun clothes was like that. " she shrug and continue her make up.

Although I like seeing those cosplayers but I didn't want to be one of them.. I feel like their clothes are having for my liking.

And the contact lenses she gave me was a purple with a little stars design so when I put it. It kind of amazing, it's perfectly fitted on my over all look.

After a long wait she was done with her outfit.

" It's look amazing " I praise her  "  who's character is that ?  " I ask it's look like an empress.

"  Ohh it's from mobile legends,empress Wu, Zetian, hehe  " she answered me while giggling.

"  Well, it beautiful... Perfect for you...  " I said, I was not joking she really look like an empress now.

" Let's go I'm excited, hehe. " she was laughing and smiling while we go down to the parking lot.

45 minutes that's how long the ride was before we arrive at the venue. A lot of cosplayers was here already, a lot of different characters. Some are same some are different I don't know a lot about anime or any characters other cosplay.

But it's a beautiful site to see.

As I look around I saw something that look so suspicious. I was about to tell Xi but she was not with me, I look for her and I saw her talking to someone I think is her friends.

"  Xi, how can you just left me " I said as soon as I came near her.

"  Ohh sorry sorry, I was so excited to meet them... Oh btw, guys this is Lynn my friend from France and Lynn this is my friends  " she introduced me with them I smiled and greet them with a nod.

"  Xi, I saw someone who look suspicious or it just a cosplay  " I whisper to her.

" Ohh come on Lynn it's an open event, some cosplay look like suspicious criminal but it's just a cosplay all they used was a plastic no real weapon.  " she shrug my suspicion as a mere paranoid.

Maybe I was paranoid, with that in mind I enjoy and join their talk. I could speak Chinese well enough because of Xi who teach me.

I don't know if I was just really paranoid but I feel like something will happen badly. As I look back, I saw that suspicious man now running in our way with a knife. My mind blank in second and before I understand what's happening my body moves to shield Xi from the danger that I forgot I'm not some superhuman.

I feel the knife in my flesh as it stab deep in my stomach. I don't know what happened, the background silent but I saw their mouth open and close.

I saw Xi, tapping at her phone frantically. And the man was pin down by others cosplayers.

" Please, Lynn don't close you eyes ok... The ambulance is coming... Wait for them ok...  " she was crying. I wipe her tears,  " you look so ugly when you cry like this, cough. " I said and cough some blood.

" Xi, I don't think I can survive this... So please tell mom and dad... I was sorry... They won't be able to see me walk in the aisle... "  I was coughing so much blood but I can't stop. I know my body well, and it won't make it.

"  I didn't know, badluck stay a long with me, cough, first broken engagement... And now this... Are god don't want me to be happy, cough... You know cough, even when I said I don't need a weeding... Cough, I still want to get married... " It's difficult to talk with so much blood coming out of my mouth.

" No.. please stop talking... You'll die at this rate... Your wasting to much energy... Please don't die on me... I can't accept that... Please Lynn... I love you... I have been in love with you.... Don't leave me... Please... " Xi was crying so hard that she confess in a wrong time.

" Your funny... But I'm sorry... I... Can't... My grandma... Was calling... Me... " I lost consciousness.

With that, I open my eyes just to see a new place. A lush of grass and big trees in forest. As I look around I saw someone laying 1 meters away from me, another girl... Wait that face... That outfit... Bai Qingqing...

Beast world....

As soon I registered what's happening I look at the area to look for something to cover my self.

I saw a nest and climb a tree to see if there's an egg and luckily it had 3 eggs. I take it and climb down, crack the egg to the dirt and smear it on my face, my hands and feet.. any place that my skin are visible is now cover in mud.
