Serenity Entertainment : 9 AM

It's a chaotic Monday morning— The building is full of people rushing towards the meeting room. The building is always lively, but today everyone seems panicking. "I heard they will introduce a new model on today's meeting. I wonder if his persona can defeat our previous model" Says a staff with a cup of coffee on his hand. The building is full of chatter about this new model, new face of the company.

On the other side of the road, there's a huge wedding ceremony. The building is decorated with flowers and white laces. Everyone is wearing their best clothes, they all looks happy; Except for the bride, Adeline Pearl. Today is her wedding day with the person she least expected : Adrian Vale, the cold-hearted CEO of Serenity Entertainment. Despite the fact that she's going to live a luxury life from now on, there's no single sign of happiness in her face. That frown have been sitting on Adeline's face for too long, just like how she's sitting in the make-up room while waiting for the groom. Adeline gripped her wedding dress nervously while looking across the room to see if there's any way to escape. Unfortunately, the make-up artist have been with her the entire morning, to keep her from running away. This is the 5th time the make-up artist have re-applied the make-up on Adeline's skin. "There's just too much sweat, please don't be nervous and smile more" Said the make-up artist while applying powder on Adeline's soft skin. Adeline were out of response, so she just put on a nervous smile and nod.

Adeline look across the room and saw a glass of water, then a brilliant idea pops up "Excuse me, I think I might need to use the rest room" Adeline made a request to the make-up artist. Sure enough, the make-up artist didn't buy it, but she still let her go "I think I'd better accompany you, going to the restroom with such a voluminous dress might be a hassle". Adeline just nods to her request. Obviously, Adeline have a better plan. She got into the restroom and took off her heels before soundly climbed outside from a tiny ventilation on the restroom. Crazy trick, but she managed to escape.

Outside the ceremony hall, a red racing car passed by— The window is half-down, revealing a guy in a black suit and black shades, looking almost like a model. He stared at the ceremony for a few minutes before driving forward. "I'm on the way now, I just grabbed some... Tea" Said the model looking guy to his phone with a sly smile before he finally hangs up and continue driving. He's going slowly, meanwhile on the other side, Adeline is running full speed. Afraid that she might get caught, she run quickly while also barefoot in her heavy dress. What she's not aware of is, she's now freely roaming in a street where any car can hit her at any moment.

The road is getting empty while the previous red car going on max speed. To his surprise, he saw a girl on a very flowy gown running towards him. He had no time to fully stop the car because it happens too fast, luckily, he could slow down the car. However... It's too late. Adeline fell to the ground unconscious. The guy got out of the car and started checking if Adeline's still alive, then started calling the ambulance.

The Hospital : 10 AM

The waiting room is filled with silence, exposing the guy's messy heartbeat. The guy who saved Adeline feel guilty, tho it wasn't fully his fault. He gets up from the chair and started pacing back and forth while feeling nervous. The silence is broken by sound of the door opening. "Adeline Pearl's family member?" The doctor asked while locking eye contact with this guy "Wait, aren't you Damon Sinclair?" The guy's eyes widened, he fixed his hair before nodding. "Come with me" The doctor then lead Damon into Adeline's room.

After seeing Adeline's condition, Damon's heart stopped racing. She's okay, just fainted from shock. Damon lets out the sigh of relief, at least he's been on time for this case. Although he's definitely late for the meeting... However, it seems like he's really unbothered about being late to the meeting; As a matter of fact, he kind of enjoy being late to the meeting.

"Why are you here? Are you her family member?" the doctor asked Damon while asking him to sign the paper. Damon nervous touch the back of his neck, "I was on the way to work when I accidentally hit her, so..." "But I promise I'm responsible, I wouldn't leave until she's fully awake"
