Episode 1 Begins with a girl standing outside her college gate. It is her first day, and she is extremely nervous. Students are walking past her, laughing and talking, while she stands there quietly holding the strap of her bag tightly.
She takes a deep breath and looks at the huge college building in front of her.
“What if I can’t fit in here?” she thinks nervously.
At the same time, from a distance, a boy is watching her silently.
His eyes stay fixed on her as if he has been searching for her for a very long time.
A faint smile appears on his face.
“Finally…” he thinks to himself. “I found you.”
Then the boy walks inside the college too.
A few moments later, he notices the girl standing alone in the hallway, looking confused while checking different classroom numbers again and again.
The boy slowly walks toward her.
“Do you need any help?” he asks calmly.
The girl looks at him for a second before replying softly, “Yes… I can’t find my classroom.”
“I can help you,” he says.
Then he asks for her class, and the girl tells him.
After hearing it, the boy smiles slightly.
“I’m in the same class too,” he says. “Come on, let’s go together.”
For some strange reason…
The moment she starts walking beside him, her nervousness begins to fade.
As they walked through the hallway together, an awkward silence stayed between them for a few seconds.
Then the girl looked at him and asked softly, “By the way… what’s your name?”
The boy glanced at her before answering, “Vivaan.”
A small smile appeared on her face. “Nice name.”
He looked at her for a moment and then asked, “And yours?”
“My name is Avni,” she replied.
Vivaan repeated her name quietly, almost as if he was remembering something important.
“Avni…” he said softly. “It’s a nice name too.”
“Thank you,” she smiled. “Your name is nice as well.”
For the first time, a faint smile appeared on Vivaan’s face.
Soon, they finally reached their classroom.
Students were already inside, talking loudly, laughing, cheering, and taking pictures.
The entire atmosphere was full of excitement.
“It really feels like college life is finally starting,” Avni said quietly while looking around.
Vivaan looked at her instead of the classroom.
“For some people,” he murmured softly.
Avni didn’t hear him properly.
“What?”
“Nothing,” he replied calmly.
After looking around for a moment, they found empty seats near the window in the first row and sat down there together.
Warm sunlight entered through the window while the noise of excited students filled the classroom.
And unknowingly—
That seat beside the window was where their story truly began.
Avni looked around the classroom with curious eyes while students continued talking excitedly.
“This place is louder than I expected,” she whispered softly.
Vivaan looked at her calmly. “You’ll get used to it.”
Before Avni could reply, a cheerful voice suddenly interrupted them.
“Excuse me… can I sit here?”
Both of them looked up.
A girl stood beside their bench with a bright smile on her face. She looked confident and energetic compared to Avni’s nervousness.
“Yeah, sure,” Avni replied quickly, moving her bag a little.
The girl sat down beside her and smiled warmly.
“Thanks! I’m Vidhi.”
“I’m Avni,” she replied.
The girl then looked toward Vivaan.
“And you?”
“Vivaan,” he answered shortly.
Vidhi nodded with a grin. “Looks like we survived the first day already.”
Avni laughed softly. “Barely.”
The three of them slowly started talking while the classroom filled with noise and excitement around them.
For the first time that morning—
Avni felt like maybe college wouldn’t be so difficult after all.
But beside her, Vivaan stayed unusually quiet for a moment.
Because after years of waiting to finally sit beside her again—
The classroom slowly became quieter as students settled into their seats.
A few moments later, the teacher entered the class carrying a pile of books.
Almost instantly, everyone became silent.
“Good morning, students,” the teacher said while placing the books on the desk. “Welcome to your first year of college life.”
Some students looked excited.
Some looked nervous.
And some already looked tired.
The teacher smiled slightly. “First of all, best of luck to all of you for the next three years. I hope you study well, work hard, and make good memories here.”
Vidhi leaned slightly toward Avni and whispered dramatically, “Study well? My plans are already destroyed.”
Avni tried not to laugh.
Beside them, Vivaan stayed quiet, though a faint smile appeared on his face for a second.
The lecture soon started.
At first, Avni tried listening carefully, but after some time, the difficult words, long explanations, and nonstop introductions started making her head hurt.
“This feels harder than school already,” she whispered quietly.
Vidhi nodded seriously. “I understood exactly three words since class started.”
“What three words?” Avni asked.
“Good… morning… students.”
Avni burst into quiet laughter.
Even Vivaan looked away slightly, hiding a small smile.
The first lecture somehow ended.
Then the second began.
Then the third.
By the end of it, the entire class looked exhausted.
As soon as the teacher left, loud voices filled the classroom again.
Finally—
Freedom.
Vidhi immediately dropped her head dramatically on the desk. “I’m starving. If nobody feeds me right now, I might actually die.”
“You’re overreacting,” Avni laughed.
“No, I’m serious.”
Vivaan calmly closed his notebook. “You said the same thing one hour ago.”
“Because hunger is permanent,” Vidhi replied proudly.
Avni laughed again.
For some reason, sitting with them felt easy.
Comfortable.
Like she had known them longer than just a few hours.
“Let’s go to the canteen,” Vidhi said while standing up quickly.
“Yes, please,” Avni agreed.
Both of them looked toward Vivaan.
He stayed silent for a moment before nodding once. “Okay.”
The three of them walked through the busy college hallways together while students surrounded them from every direction.
The canteen was even louder than the classroom.
Students were laughing, shouting orders, and fighting for seats everywhere.
“This place is terrifying,” Avni whispered.
“It’s beautiful,” Vidhi corrected emotionally while staring at the food counter.
Vivaan quietly pulled a chair for Avni before sitting down himself.
She looked slightly surprised.
“Thank you,” she said softly.
He simply nodded.
Vidhi looked between them suspiciously. “Wow. Gentleman behavior already.”
Avni immediately looked away awkwardly. “Stop talking nonsense.”
“I’m just observing,” Vidhi grinned.
After getting their food, the conversation continued easily.
Mostly because Vidhi never stopped talking.
“So,” she said while eating fries, “tell me one interesting thing about yourselves.”
Avni thought for a second. “I like reading novels.”
Vidhi gasped dramatically. “Smart people scare me.”
Avni laughed. “What about you?”
“I like sleeping.”
“That’s not a talent.”
“It absolutely is.”
Both girls laughed again.
Then Vidhi looked toward Vivaan.
“And you?”
Vivaan stayed quiet for a brief moment.
“I like silence,” he answered calmly.
Vidhi stared at him.
Then she slowly nodded. “Yeah… that sounds exactly like you.”
For the first time, Vivaan actually let out a small laugh.
A quiet one.
But real.
And somehow—
That surprised Avni more than anything else.
Because for a second, he didn’t look cold or distant anymore.
He looked… normal.
The lunch break ended quickly, and soon they returned to class again.
The day continued with more introductions, more lectures, and more chaos.
But now, it didn’t feel as stressful to Avni anymore.
Not while sitting beside them.
As the final lecture continued, Avni turned slightly toward Vivaan to ask something—
But the words stopped in her throat.
For one brief second—
His eyes looked strangely familiar.
Not because she knew him.
But because somewhere deep inside her—
It felt like she had seen those eyes before.
And somehow…
That strange feeling stayed with her long after the class ended.
The next morning, Avni entered the college with far less nervousness than yesterday.
Maybe because now she knew she wouldn’t be alone.
As soon as she entered the classroom, she noticed Vidhi already sitting on the bench dramatically eating chips.
“You came this early just to eat?” Avni asked while laughing.
Vidhi looked offended. “Excuse me. Breakfast is important.”
“Inside the classroom?”
“Education can wait.”
Avni shook her head while smiling and sat beside her.
A few seconds later, Vivaan entered the classroom quietly.
Just like yesterday—
Calm.
Silent.
Almost impossible to notice.
But somehow, Avni noticed him immediately.
“Good morning,” she said softly.
Vivaan looked at her for a brief second before replying, “Morning.”
Vidhi narrowed her eyes suspiciously. “Why does this feel like a married couple conversation already?”
Avni almost choked. “Vidhi!”
“What? I’m just saying.”
For the first time that morning, a small smile appeared on Vivaan’s face again.
And strangely—
Avni noticed that too.
Soon, the teacher entered the class.
“Today,” the teacher announced, “you’ll be working in groups for a small presentation.”
Instantly, loud reactions filled the room.
Some students looked excited.
Others looked completely dead inside.
Vidhi raised her hand dramatically. “Ma’am, can emotional support groups count too?”
The entire class laughed.
Even the teacher smiled slightly. “No.”
After a few minutes, groups were assigned.
Of course—
Avni, Vidhi, and Vivaan ended up together.
“Well,” Vidhi sighed dramatically, “at least I know I’ll pass because of you two.”
“You’re part of the work too,” Avni replied.
“That sounds unfortunate.”
The three of them later moved to the library to discuss their project.
The atmosphere there was much quieter compared to the noisy classroom.
Vidhi whispered loudly, “Why does this place feel haunted?”
“Because it’s a library,” Avni replied.
Vivaan sat across from them, flipping through pages calmly.
After a while, the discussion started properly.
But something felt strange again.
Every time Avni or Vidhi got confused—
Vivaan already knew the answer.
Not just normal answers.
Detailed ones.
Almost perfect ones.
Vidhi stared at him suspiciously. “Are you secretly a professor?”
“No,” he replied calmly.
“Then how do you know everything?”
Vivaan closed the book slowly. “I read.”
“That much?”
“Yes.”
p
Vidhi leaned toward Avni and whispered dramatically, “He’s not human.”
Avni laughed softly.
But for some reason—
The words stayed in her mind longer than they should have.
A few hours later, dark clouds suddenly covered the sky outside.
Then—
Rain started pouring heavily.
Students near the windows became excited immediately.
“It’s raining!” Vidhi said happily.
Avni smiled while watching the rain fall outside the library windows.
The weather suddenly made everything feel calmer.
Peaceful.
For a brief moment, she forgot about assignments, nervousness, and college stress.
Then she noticed something strange.
Vivaan wasn’t looking at the rain.
He was staring outside with an unreadable expression on his face.
Almost distant.
Almost lost.
“You don’t like rain?” Avni asked softly.
Vivaan looked at her.
Then quietly replied—
“I do.”
“Then why do you look sad?”
For the first time—
He didn’t answer immediately.
And somehow…
That silence felt heavier than words.
Before Avni could ask anything else, Vidhi suddenly stood up dramatically.
“I’m hungry again.”
Avni blinked. “You literally ate thirty minutes ago.”
“Hunger has no timing.”
Vivaan quietly stood up as well. “I’ll go get coffee.”
Vidhi ggasped emotionally. “See? He understands my pain.”
Avni laughed softly as Vivaan walked out of the library.
A few seconds later, she suddenly realized something.
She hadn’t even heard the door open.
Confused, she turned toward the entrance.
The hallway outside was completely empty.
Vivaan was nowhere to be seen.
For some reason—
A strange chill ran through her.
And once again—
That unfamiliar feeling returned.
