Thunder cracked across the city as black cars sped through rain soaked streets
At exactly 2:13 AM, every television screen inside the underground casino suddenly turned black...
The music stopped....The laughter died.
A single symbol appeared on the giant screen
The entire casino froze in fear.
Because everyone in this city knew what that symbol meant...Death....Heavy footsteps echoed through the entrance as armed men in black suits stormed inside first clearing the path instantly. Customers panicked Dealers stepped back.. Guards lowered their heads then he appeared
Black gloves...Rain dripping from his dark hair Cold tattooed hands resting inside his pockets
The most feared mafia king in the country walked forward slowly, eyes empty of emotion
Behind him
One of his men whispered nervously

Jungkook’s jaw tightened slightly.
This casino stood exactly on the border between both mafia territories... Entering it without permission was practically a declaration of war
Silence filled the air as the numbers slowly climbed upward
The elevator doors opened to the private VIP floor.
Dim golden lights illuminated the luxurious lounge....Jazz music played softly in the background while rich politicians, businessmen, and criminals pretended not to notice the tension entering the room.
And at the center of it all
Kim Taehyung sat lazily on a velvet couch one leg crossed over the other expensive rings glinting beneath the low lights
Like a king waiting for entertainment
He didn’t even look surprised
Instead, Taehyung slowly lifted his wine glass
The entire room went silent.
Jungkook walked toward him with dangerous calm. Each step felt like a countdown to violence Taehyung finally looked up fully, dark eyes meeting Jungkook’s

You destroyed three of my warehouses
Taehyung took a slow sip of wine

And you killed my men first

You crossed my border

You entered my casino
For a moment neither moved
Jungkook grabbed Taehyung by the collar and slammed him against the table hard enough for glasses to shatter across the floor
Gasps echoed around the lounge
Dozens of guns were instantly raised
Jungkook’s men aimed at Taehyung
Taehyung’s guards aimed back
One wrong move and the entire room would become a bloodbath
But Taehyung only laughed softly beneath Jungkook’s grip

You still hesitate *he whispered*

I should kill you tonight
Taehyung leaned closer instead of pulling away...Their faces inches apart. Breathing sharp...Dangerously close
But Jungkook couldn’t pull the trigger
....was the beginning of their destruction
Chapter 2
The shattered glass crunched beneath Jungkook’s shoes as silence swallowed the entire lounge
Because if either Jeon Jungkook or Kim Taehyung gave one order tonight
the city would wake up drenched in blood
Jungkook’s hand tightened around Taehyung’s collar

Taehyung looked completely relaxed despite being pinned against the table

The corner of Jungkook’s mouth twitched dangerously
One of Taehyung’s guards stepped forward nervously
Before he could finish, Jungkook pulled out his gun and fired without even looking

Jungkook stared at him for a long moment
Rain hammered against the tall glass windows behind them while thunder illuminated the city skyline
Finally, Jungkook leaned closer

One of Jungkook’s men rushed into the lounge, bleeding from the forehead

The guard hesitated fearfully before speaking

The room fell into suffocating silence after Taehyung’s words
Even the guards looked uneasy now
Because nobody in this city was powerful enough to challenge both mafia empires at once
Jungkook stared at Kim Taehyung for a long moment before speaking coldly

Boss *one of Jungkook’s men protested*
Taehyung smirked slightly

Jungkook shot him a deadly glare
Within seconds the guards reluctantly emptied the lounge though dozens remained outside with guns ready
The moment the doors shut the atmosphere changed completely
Quieter, Sharper, More dangerous
Taehyung walked toward the giant window overlooking the city below

You know what bothers me? *asked softly*
Jungkook stayed behind him arms crossed

Taehyung continued calmly, staring at the storm outside

Jungkook grabbed Taehyung harshly by the throat and slammed him against the wall
This time there was no teasing in his eyes

Taehyung winced slightly from the grip but still looked calm

A Gunshot exploded from outside the lounge
Both men reacted instantly
Screaming erupted downstairs
Jungkook pulled out his gun immediately while Taehyung grabbed a dagger hidden beneath his jacket
One of Taehyung’s guards stumbled inside covered in blood
He collapsed to the floor

Snipers! *gasped painfully* They’re killing everyone downstairs
The lights suddenly shut off
Darkness swallowed the entire casino
distorted voice echoed through the speakers

Kings should never sit on the same throne
Jungkook’s eyes sharpened instantly
Taehyung’s expression turned ice cold
