Chapter- 1 : First day
Rain is pouring against the tall glass windows of Kang Group Headquarters hard enough to make the entire building feel colder.
Yoon Jiha stood in front of the company entrance, gripping the strap of his bag tightly
First day.
New job.
New people.
New alpha boss everyone in the city seemed terrified of
She stared at the massive building and sighed

"Just survive three months,” she muttered to herself. “Then pay rent. Then leave.”
Easy.
Probably.
Maybe not.
The lobby buzzed with nervous energy.
Employees walked quickly with lowered heads, avoiding eye contact like soldiers in enemy territory

“Why does this place feel like a funeral home?”
A nearby employee whispered to another,
“The CEO arrived early today.”
Yoon Jiha
“Ah,” she murmured. “So the devil’s here.”
Min Ara, the coworker assigned to help him, looked genuinely stressed.
Min Ara
“You really need to be careful around the CEO.”
Yoon Jiha
Jiha sipped his iced coffee lazily. “Why?”
Min Ara
“He hates mistakes.”
Yoon Jiha
“Then he must hate humans in general.”
Min Ara
"Don’t joke like that!”
Before Jiha could respond, the elevator doors opened.
Silence.
Complete silence.
Every employee instantly straightened.
Some even bowed slightly.
Chapter: 2 — Spilled the Coffee
Jiha slowly turned around
Black suit.
Sharp eyes.
Cold expression.
The kind of face that looked expensive and dangerous at the same time.
Jiha immediately understood why people were scared.
The alpha walked forward calmly, flipping through documents without looking up once.
Everyone moved out of his path instantly.
Jiha stepped aside too—
But someone bumped his shoulder from behind.
And splashed directly across Jaehyun’s white paperwork.

One employee actually whispered,
“Oh my god"
Jaehyun finally looked up.
Dark eyes landed on Jiha
Kang Jaehyung
Do you enjoy testing my patience?” he asked quietly.
Yoon Jiha
Before her survival instincts could stop him, she replied, “Do you enjoy terrifying your workers?”
Several employees choked. Even She herself gasped quietly
Yoon Jiha
In mind: How can say this!!! Why can't I control my mouth. I'm gonna get fired. But I was right tho!! Aaaaaa
Min Ara looked seconds away from fainting.
For a moment, Jaehyun simply stared at her
Then his eyes narrowed slightly.
Jiha expected yelling.
Maybe getting fired.
Maybe dying
Instead, the alpha stepped closer.
Close enough for Jiha to catch the scent of cedarwood and rain.
Kang Jaehyung
“You’re the new assistant,” Jaehyun said.
Yoon Jiha
Jiha straightened slightly. “Yes?”
Jaehyun studied him for another long second before speaking.
Kang Jaehyung
“Ten minutes late.”
Kang Jaehyung
“You arrived ten minutes late today.”
Jaehyun handed the ruined papers to another employee without looking away from her
Kang Jaehyung
“If you’re going to argue with me, at least arrive on time first.”
Then he walked past her.
Just like that.
The lobby remained silent until the elevator doors closed
and then—
Min Ara
“What is WRONG with you?!” Min Ara whisper-screamed.
Jiha looked genuinely confused
Yoon Jiha
“I just spilled coffee. That was mistake..."
Min Ara
“You TALKED BACK TO HIM.”
Yoon Jiha
“He started it.”
Min Ara
“You’re getting fired.”
Yoon Jiha
“I literally just got hired.”
Min Ara
“You’re still getting fired.”
