Chapter 1- That Past
My lift was never been less dramatic then it is right now.💭
Daniel
"You cheated on me don't you."
He screamed out of his lungs.
Daniel
“You broke up with me because you were talking to someone else, and you were with him today, right?”
By then, I was done with his tone.
Kira
“Look, I never cheated on you, okay? After we broke up, I talked to him. Before that, we weren’t even in contact. I was honest in my relationship with you.”
I was tired of explaining the same thing over and over again.
Daniel
“Trust? You? I don’t trust you even one percent, Kira. And don’t talk about honesty. I still have those pictures and chats of yours with those guys. Did you forget?”
It was the shittiest move he could pull, but honestly, I was never surprised. He was always like that.
Kira
Then why did you choose to stay in the relationship when I kept telling you to leave me alone?
Kira
Let’s not drag this any further. I can’t carry that guilt forever, and you said I could trust you.
Kira
You promised you’d forget everything, but look at you now. I accepted what happened back then, and I’ve always felt guilty of it.”
We were arguing when he suddenly lost his mind. Out of nowhere, he pulled out a gun and pointed it at me.
Daniel
“Fear me. Beg me for forgiveness. Maybe then my ego will be satisfied,”
Chapter 2 - That past
And in that moment, I knew he had lost me forever.
I knew he was dangerous. I could still see the bag full of cash lying on the backseat, and somehow, I had fallen in love with a dangerous man.
I grabbed the gun and pressed it against my forehead.
Kira
“Go on. Kill me. If you really think we’re this messed up, if you think everything between us was fake — that I was fake — then do it.
Kira
Admit that this entire relationship was just revenge for you. It’s not a big deal for you, right? You’ve killed men for money before, so what’s one more?
Kira
Pull the fucking trigger!
I screamed the last line with the same intensity as him.
For a second, he just stared at me.
I could see the monster inside him taking control, his rage practically begging him to pull the trigger.
But suddenly, he snatched the gun away from me.
Honestly, I wasn’t surprised.
Chapter 3 - That Past
All I could hear was the song playing faintly in the background, every lyric sounding painfully personal, as if it was written for us.
Kira
I could feel the hatred in every word he spoke, mixed with the love he once gave me — the kind of love that slowly turned me into the villain of his perfect romantic fantasy.
Kira
The games, the manipulation, the guilt… it was destroying every last piece of positivity left inside me.
Kira
And that scared me the most.
Kira
I was scared that one day he’d completely succeed — that I’d spend the rest of my life trapped inside this endless cycle of guilt and self-hatred.
Kira
Maybe one day I’d forget his face. Forget his name. Forget every conversation we ever had.
Kira
But I would never forget the way he raised his voice at me.
Kira
I would never forget the feeling that hit my chest every time I drove down the same roads we used to take together.
Kira
I wanted to scream and ask him why he left me when he knew I couldn’t even make decisions without him anymore.
Kira
Why promise forever if he was only going to abandon me?
Kira
And the worst part was that somewhere deep inside me, I blamed myself for everything.
Kira
Maybe because I knew I had hurt him once too.
Kira
Maybe because this was karma finally catching up to me like a hunter chasing down wounded prey.
