Everyone was at the biggest festival held for 3 days every year. In the middle of these festivities a strange incident was happening.

          The loud sound of a portal opening in the middle of the town was blurred by the loud noise of beautiful fireworks covering the sky.

         The thing which came out of the portal was an ancient book which looked like a prophetic book, it had a note attached to it. Unknown words marred its surface.

 A blue spirit came through the portal, perhaps acting as a messenger and a carrier, disappeared into the thin air, before the portal closed. Now it was hard to tell whether it returned to its world or remained in ours.

 Among the many people stood out, a young lady. Her face was as beautiful as a fairy, her pitch black hair looked as if the night itself descended upon it, her pure lavender colored eyes looked magical, her thin porcelain like body looked so frail as if it would break with the slightest touch, shined beautifully under the moon light. Even her dirty and cheap clothes couldn't hide her beauty completely.

      She was of commoner birth but she looked like nobility itself. Her mother was a doctor, who spend all her life tending to the sick and poor. Her father, an alchemist, who has spent decades experimenting and coming up with elixirs to help with various problems, his most famous elixir was hair regrowth elixir, apparently it was sold out in a few hours. She had a sister 4 years older than her, Madeline. She was one of the sweetest and prettiest people she ever saw. It was the most perfect family and life one could ask for.

Normally black hair was considered as a bad omen or to be precise a curse in other nations. It was because of the founding legend of the world. According to the legend, before the Water God, Nereus, created the world, all which resided was darkness and hollowness. Nothing was ever born, nor did anything ever die. But soon from the darkness, Nereus emerged, his hair the deepest shade of blue, as if mimicking the dark it was born from. Then he created animals and alike. Humans and their child. But soon their new found peace was disrupted when the dormant dark took the form of living, and caused chaos and destruction. Nereus, used his sacred powers and sealed the destructive force, through a war which lasted for a century. But unfortunatelyz Nereus was depleted of his energy, and fell asleep in a deep slumber. Or as it says. That's why, throughout the other countries, dark hair is seen as a bad omen and a sign of darkness in a person.

But here in Alodia people couldn’t care less about the looks. And her lavender colored eyes were so unique and beautiful that it captivated anyone who laid their eyes on her . As if it was some kind of magic.

  And I am the girl we were talking about, Aloya Henson.

    Alodia was a pretty big and prosperous country. Its emperor Jones Faraday was known to be a generous and kind person to its people and innocent and on the other hand was also known to be ruthless and cruel to intruders and criminals.

   Alodia was among the five countries that were and are powerful since ancient times. Among the seven existing countries Alodia and Lidia held the highest position. Alodia was famous for its high quality herbs and crops along with a high amount of magic ores.

      Lidia on the other hand was famous for its mercenary groups and war equipment.

   I, just like my father had a talent for alchemy but I chose to hide because it was more of magic than alchemy. Normally magicians were respected more than alchemists but yet I had a feeling that it won’t bring me any good by exposing it to the world. Because I didn’t want to get any unwanted attention. Everything started one year ago when I first entered this body. I am not originally from this world. I lived in a world a lot different from this world. Back in my world when I lived as Ariel Roy, I was an orphan who never received any love from anyone. After leaving I was kicked out the orphanage at 16, i tried hard to live on my own. I don't even remember how I managed everything. But it was still miserable nonetheless. There was no adult by my side, and everyday felt cold and heavy, but I refused to give up.

 One day I was going home, after yet another unsuccessful job interview, I tried to get a part time job but I never quite succeeded, that's when I saw a beautiful blue orb glowing brightly in the middle of the road. Upon seeing it I first thought it was my imagination seeing how no one else noticed this “thing” flying around. Just as I was lost in thought, I saw a truck rapidly approaching the blue orb. My first thought was to save it but what if it was just my imagination? But what if it’s real? It will die just because of my indecisiveness. Does it deserve that? With this last thought I jumped in the middle of the road to save the blue orb. But…...

      Even though I saved it, it was me who got hit by the truck. Just before my eyes closed I thought “I lived my life without knowing the warmth of mother and now I am dying like this. God! My life really sucked until the end.”

        Just as I thought I was dead I saw a blinding light falling upon me. Is this heaven? Am I dead? I ask to particularly no one...
