I actually took this story idea from those pov stories

where people wish to be what they want to be when they grow up

I formed it as a government system

In this world, back then when poverty was prevalent, the government created this system to help those poor people who can't afford to provide education to their kids.

What happens is that a kid registers their future profession and the government is responsible for providing everything to that kid.

They pay their fees

But as time passes by, government made this eligible for middle class people too.

Most parents wanted their children to be doctors, scientists and advocates and much more

which costs a lot of money

government makes a new law regarding it

at the registration center, the officials would ask the kid " what do you want to be when you grow up? "

and whatever comes out of that kid's mouth is noted down immediately

You know how kids are? Some end up saying " I want to be a butterfly"

you know what they become? in dramas, they play as the butterfly ✌

I just realized there are many other jobs in which people wear animal costumes.

anyway there's more, if either of the parents come from a poor background, the child is eligible for the government scheme. For example - if the dad's a CEO and the mom used to be a waitress, the child is still ought to be helped by government. But if the parent doesn't want their child to be helped out through the gov scheme then the parent can bribe the officials to strike out their kid's name.

More information — IF someone doesn't want to become what they registered as their future profession when they were a kid, the said person won't be forced to do that job. BUT. they have to do that job for at least two years if they want to leave that profession.
