PROLOGUE Rossi: The Omega Heir The Rossi family was not built—it was forged. In a world where power decided everything, the Rossis ruled like a law of nature. Alphas led, Enigmas controlled, and obedience kept the empire alive. Their name was spoken in boardrooms with respect and in underground circles with fear. Perfection was expected. Weakness was erased. So when Asher Rossi was born into that bloodline, nothing about him fit. An omega. In a house of dominance. He was not welcomed with hatred. That would have been easier to survive. Instead, he was treated like something irrelevant—present, but never important enough to matter. Conversations flowed over him. Decisions were made without him. Even silence in the mansion felt like it belonged more to the walls than to him. He grew up learning a cruel truth without anyone ever saying it aloud: He was part of the family… but never part of its world. His twin brother stood only a breath away from him, yet somehow always further. His brothers moved like a storm through the mansion—each one powerful, each one consumed by their own world—while Asher learned to shrink himself into the spaces they left behind. No one noticed when he stopped speaking at dinner. No one asked when he stopped staying in common rooms. And no one realized when hope slowly turned into exhaustion. Until one night, something inside him stopped waiting. Eighteen years of being unseen became heavier than fear. So Asher Rossi left. Not with anger. Not with revenge. Just silence. The mansion did not stop him. The guards did not question him. The family did not wake up in time to realize what absence sounded like. Because in their world, he had always been quiet enough to forget. But the world outside the Rossi estate was not kind either. On a rain-soaked street in Italy, fate collided with the boy who had finally chosen himself. Steel, speed, and silence turned into impact—and in a single moment, everything he was disappeared. His name. His past. His pain. And far away, across oceans and empires, the Rossi family continued living as if nothing had changed. Until they looked around the table one day… and finally understood what it meant to lose someone they never truly saw. But by then, it was already too late. Because Asher Rossi was no longer theirs to find.

Chapter 1

Asher Pov
Italy… was that nobody noticed him. Not even the rain tried to stop for him. He stood outside the airport exit, soaked hoodie clinging to his skin, fingers wrapped tightly around a worn backpack. Inside it was everything he owned. A broken phone. A few documents. A name written on a card. ASHER. He stared at it again. Like if he looked long enough, it might turn into something else. But it didn’t. It never did. He didn’t know who wrote it there. Or why the name felt heavy in his chest. All he knew was— he woke up in a hospital days ago with no past, no identity, and no one coming to claim him. Silence had been his only answer since. An announcement echoed behind him from inside the airport. People rushed past him, dragging suitcases through the rain while laughter and conversations filled the air. Everyone had somewhere to go. Everyone belonged somewhere. Asher stayed still. Watching. Lost.

(muttering softly): “Where am I supposed to go…?”
His voice barely carried. No one heard him. Of course they didn’t. He tightened his grip on the backpack and started walking. At first slowly. Then faster. Not because he had a destination… but because standing still made him feel like he didn’t exist at all. The streets of Milan were alive despite the storm. Cars sped through wet roads. Umbrellas opened like dark flowers beneath city lights. Strangers brushed past him without a glance. And Asher— was just another shadow among them. Cold rain slipped down the side of his face as he crossed another street absentmindedly. Then— A horn. Sharp. Loud. Too close. Asher turned slightly. White headlights exploded into his vision. For half a second, everything froze. That half second destroyed everything.

WATCH OUT—!!”

Impact. Violent. His body slammed against the road hard enough to knock the air from his lungs. Metal screeched. People screamed. Pain crashed into him all at once. Not slowly. Not gently. It felt like his entire body had shattered open.

“He’s bleeding—!”
Rainwater mixed with blood beneath him. Asher tried to move his fingers. They barely twitched. His breathing came out uneven. Broken.

The city lights above him blurred instantly. Everything looked distant. Like the world was already moving away from him. And strangely… he wasn’t scared. Just tired. So unbelievably tired. A strange thought crossed his fading mind. Is this how it ends? The question echoed in silence. No memories answered him. No faces appeared. No past came rushing back. Only emptiness remained. Footsteps approached quickly. Someone dropped beside him on the wet road. Warm hands pressed against his wound. A voice spoke urgently, but the words sounded muffled now. Far away.

Stay awake! Can you hear me?!”

Asher wanted to answer. But darkness was already pulling him under. His eyelids felt heavy. Cold rain touched his skin one last time. And somewhere deep inside that fading silence… he thought he heard something. A name. Not spoken aloud. Not remembered fully. Just… there. Waiting. But before he could reach it— everything disappeared. Darkness didn’t come like an ending. It came like silence finally winning. And somewhere inside that silence… Asher Rossi stopped being a boy who was running. And became a boy who was lost.
Thank you

Chapter 2

Doctor’s POV
Beep… beep… beep… The sound was steady. Too steady. Like the world outside this hospital room didn’t care what had happened to the boy lying inside it. Dr. Romano adjusted his gloves before looking at the patient again. Young. Maybe eighteen. Severe trauma from a road accident. But the injuries weren’t what unsettled him. It was the emptiness in the boy’s eyes when he woke up. No panic. No fear. Just… nothing. The boy blinked slowly beneath the dim hospital lights. His lashes were still damp with exhaustion, pale skin bruised from impact.

Boy
(weakly): “…Where am I?”
His voice sounded fragile. Almost unfamiliar to himself. Dr. Romano stepped closer carefully.
Dr Romano

“You’re in Milan General Hospital.”
Dr Romano
Dr Romano
“You were in a serious accident.”
A pause followed. Most patients reacted immediately. Shock. Questions. Panic. This boy only stared quietly at the ceiling as if trying to understand the meaning of words themselves.
Boy
Boy
“I… don’t remember anything.”
Silence settled heavily inside the room. Dr. Romano had treated memory loss before. But this felt different. Not forgotten memories. More like memories had never existed at all. The doctor picked up the damaged backpack resting beside the bed. Recovered from the accident scene. Wet. Torn. Half-burned near the zipper.
Dr Romano
Dr Romano
“We found this with you.”
The boy’s eyes shifted toward the bag. No recognition appeared. Only curiosity. Dr. Romano opened it carefully. Inside were only a few things. A broken phone. Some clothes. A wallet with unusable identification. And a small folded card. The doctor paused slightly before unfolding it. Then he looked back at the boy.
Dr Romano
Dr Romano
“There’s a name here.”
For the first time, something flickered in the boy’s expression. A name. Something solid. Something real inside the fog consuming his mind. The doctor turned the card slowly. ASHER The room became strangely quiet. The boy stared at the word for a long moment. Like he was waiting for it to awaken something inside him. But nothing came. No memories. No warmth. No past.
Asher (mc) RO
Asher (mc) RO
“…Asher.”
The name rolled off his tongue naturally. Yet it still sounded unfamiliar. Like it belonged to someone else. Dr. Romano watched him carefully.
Dr Romano
Dr Romano
For now… this is what we’ll call you.”
The boy nodded slowly. Not because he understood. But because he had nothing else to hold onto. Outside the hospital window, rain continued falling over Milan. Cold. Restless. Unforgiving. And somewhere across the ocean— the Rossi family was only beginning to realize something was missing.
