The air in konoha academy classroom was thick with the usual post bell chaoes , but for sasuke and Naruto the world have shrunk for a few Inches between their face.that accidiential kiss hadn't been a flukeof gravity but for sasuke it had tried a wirehe didn't know exist
Now sitting on the piorat sunset , the silence between them is heavy
Naruto
(Kicking his legs water grumbling) "man,Iruka sensei really piled on today . And quite staring at me , sasuke ! You've been acting weird since morning
sasuke
(He didn't move his gaze from Naruto's face )"I am not staring. I'm observing.
Naruto
(turning his face to him , confused) "observing what ? My face ? Is there dirt on it ?
sasuke
(leaning in closer, his hand moving to brush a stray blond hair from Naruto's head) "somthing like that . You're loud , obnoxious and a complete loser. But you are the only thingworth looking at in this village
Naruto
(face flushing a deep crimson)"wh-what that suppose to mean ? Is this a new way to insult me ! you bastard!!
sasuke
( his finger linger on Naruto cheek) " think what you want. But don't think for a second I'm letting you out of my site . Not from today.
Naruto
(Heart hammering against his ribs) "It was just a kiss, Sasuke! An accident! Everyone saw it, it was embarrassing, but it's over!"
sasuke
(Leaning in until their foreheads touch, his dark eyes intense and unreadable) "It isn't over. I don't care about 'everyone.' From now on, your rival, your teammate, your shadow... it’s me. Don't look at anyone else. Don't let anyone else touch you."
Naruto
(Swallowing hard, his bravado failing) "You’re being really creepy right now, you know that?"
sasuke
(A small, sharp smirk tugs at the corner of his mouth) "Get used to it, Naruto. You're stuck with me."
chapter 2
The training grounds are silent, save for the rhythmic thud of Naruto’s kunai hitting—and mostly missing—the wooden targets. From the dense canopy of the surrounding forest, two dark eyes track every movement, every stumble, and every grin.
Naruto
(Huffing, wiping sweat from his brow) "Dammit! I know I can hit that center mark. Just gotta focus..."
sasuke
(From the shadows of a cedar tree, whispering to himself) "Your elbow is too low. You’re overcompensating with your shoulder again."
Naruto
(Freezing, looking around suspiciously) "Who’s there? I felt something. Is someone watching me?"
sasuke
(Melting deeper into the darkness, his breath hitching as he watches Naruto pull his shirt collar to vent the heat) He’s always so wide open. Anyone could just... take him.
Naruto
(Shrugging it off and walking toward the river to splash his face) "Must be a squirrel or something. Man, I’m starving. Ichiraku sounds great right now."
sasuke
(Moving silently through the branches, keeping pace with Naruto from above) Ichiraku again. He doesn't take care of himself. If I don't stay close, he'll let his guard down. He's too bright... someone will try to dim that light if I'm not there to stop them.
Naruto
(Stopping at the edge of the village, looking up at the rooftops) "Seriously! I feel like I'm being followed! Sasuke? Is that you? If you want to eat ramen, just come out and say it
sasuke
(Dropping down into an alleyway blocks away, appearing as if he’d been there all along as Naruto rounds the corner) "Hn. Why would I follow a loser like you to a ramen stand?"
Naruto
(Startled, jumping back) "Whoa! Where did you come from?! You were just—"
sasuke
(Stepping into Naruto’s personal space, his eyes scanning Naruto’s face for any sign of exhaustion) "You’re late for dinner. And you’re filthy. Go eat. I’ll be... around."
Naruto
(Blushing, confused by the intensity) "Yeah, okay! Whatever, weirdo!"
sasuke
(Watching Naruto run toward the shop, his hand tightening on his kunai pouch) Go ahead, Naruto. Run. It doesn't matter how fast you go. I’ll always be exactly where you are.
chapter 3
The moonlight filters through the window of Naruto’s messy apartment, casting long, pale shadows across the floor. Naruto is sprawled out across his bed, snoring lightly, completely unaware that the window latch had been silently tripped minutes ago.
Sasuke stands by the bedside, a dark silhouette against the peeling wallpaper. He doesn't move for a long time, simply watching the steady rise and fall of Naruto’s chest.
sasuke
(In a voice barely above a breath, eyes narrowing as he looks at Naruto’s peaceful expression) "You sleep too soundly. You have no idea how easy it would be for someone to just... take you away."
Naruto
(Mumbles in his sleep, turning onto his side) "...ramen... extra pork..."
sasuke
(A ghost of a smile touches his lips, but it’s cold and shadowed with intensity. He sinks onto the edge of the mattress, the springs barely making a sound under his controlled weight.) "Always thinking about something else. Always looking at everyone but me."
sasuke
(He reaches out, his fingers hovering just an inch above Naruto’s cheek before finally making contact. His touch is light, tracing the jagged lines of the whisker marks with a terrifyingly slow precision.) "You’re so warm. It’s irritating."
Naruto
(Nuzzles into the pillow, his face twitching slightly at the touch but not waking.)
sasuke
(His hand moves to Naruto’s neck, his thumb resting over the pulse point. He can feel the steady, rhythmic beat of Naruto’s heart—life that he feels belongs solely to him.) "You think you’re going to become Hokage? You think you’re going to belong to the whole village?"
sasuke
(Leaning down, his face inches from Naruto's ear, his voice dropping to a possessive growl) "I won't let them have you. I'll break every bond you have until I'm the only one left. You don't realize it yet, but that accident... it tied us together. And I’m never cutting that thread.
sasuke
(He brushes a strand of blonde hair away from Naruto's eyes, his gaze fixed and unblinking.) "Sleep while you can, Naruto. Because when you're awake, I'm going to make sure I'm the only thing you see."
