**A New start. A New Beginning. **

It's a new year after the summer season holiday. Some of the students are excited to meet their classmates and friends, some of them are too lazy to start a new session of schools, and there's Haruki, keeping in mind that;

**"Another year, same routine." **Haruki thought.

Bright morning. Birds chirping in the air. Students bustling around the school, getting ready for their class and so Haruki. In the busy hallway, students are greeting themselves, chatting with their classmates and friends. Haruki walks past by them quietly, going to his classroom.

"Look! it's the lone wolf guy!" A boy said.

A group of students are chatting among themselves and their attention moves to Haruki when he walks past them.

"I thought he's already gone to another school?" Boy #1 said.

"Just look at him, will any school want a student like him?" Boy #2 said.

"Yeah man, he'll ruin the school's reputation." They laugh.

"He looks so lonely though" Boy #3 said.

"Of course! Who even wants to be friends with him? Is it you? If I were, I would rather die than become friends with him!" Boy #1 says again.

Haruki accidentally hears them, but he remains natural. He ignores them and continues to walk to his class. As he entered the class, no one was there. Usually, Haruki is the first one who will enter the class before his classmates. He opens the curtains and the window. He also cleaned up some dust around the classroom. After he is done, he sits at his desk and takes out a book and studies the subject before the class starts so he will be more understanding later. One other student enters the classroom. The quiet classroom now becomes busy with students noise. Haruki puts on his earbud and continues to read his book. As time passes by, the first lesson finally starts. A teacher, their homeroom teacher enters the class. Haruki puts away his earphones and gives attention to the teacher.  She greets everyone.

"Hello everyone!~ How's your guys holiday?" Mrs. Airi says cheerfully.

"It's great!"

"I want to rewind the time back please! I can't get enough of the holiday!"

"I hope the holiday is longer.."

Mrs. Airi chuckles softly while listening to their answer.

"Okay, okay, enough ice breaking. Let's start our lesson now. Please pay attention in the class, okay?" She reminds them softly. Everyone in the classroom is paying attention to the lesson, they start taking some notes. Some of them even already get sleepy. The lesson carries on from one to another one lesson. It's now recess time. The hallway becomes busy again with students going to the cafeteria. Haruki goes to the cafeteria just to buy a bottle of water and goes back to his classroom. On his way to the class, someone bumped onto him.

"I'm sorry!" Ren bows repeatedly.

"Watch your way." Haruki says quietly yet coldly.

Ren nods awkwardly. Haruki ignores him and walks away, heading to his class.

Ren's POV

"He's scary.." Ren mutters to himself. A friend pats his back.

"Yow! Ren! What's up? You look like you've just seen a ghost" Minato says.

Ren shakes his head and smiles. "Nothing, I just bumped onto someone. His face is kinda scary."

Minato tilts his head "Huh? Who?" He asks.

"You know...that genius boy from grade 12..." Ren says.

"Ah! Haruki Aizawa? You bumped onto him? Are you hurting anywhere? Did he do something?" Minato asks, checking all over Ren's face for any wound or bruise.

Ren shakes his head and pushes Minato away. "Yeah, him. What's with the reaction man? I'm fine" His voice sounds a bit annoying.

Minato sighs in relief. "You don't know anything about him, do you?"

Ren looks at him with a intrigued reaction. "What's with him?"

Minato shrugged "Last year, he beat up a man that got into his way."

Ren raises an eyebrow "Then, what happens?"

"The man ends up in the hospital, in the emergency unit. When the teachers ask, he admits that he's the one who picked up the fight and beat the man without a reasonable accusation." Minato explains.

Ren hissed at the story. He shakes his head in disbelief. "I can't imagine it."

Minato nods in agreement. "Right?!"

Ren thinks about it for a moment. "There must be a reason..." He mutters.

"What did you just said?" Minato looks up from his phone.

"N-nothing! Let's go back to our class now, shall we?" He asks awkwardly.

"Okay, Let's go" Minato says, brushes off the topic.

The day ends just as Haruki thought. Another routine in his life. Before going back home, he goes to his locker to put away some of his books. Ren notices him and decided to talk to him. He gathers his courage and walks to Haruki.

"Hi!.." Ren says lightly.

Haruki looks at him with an uninterested expression. "Oh, you again. What do you want?" He said coldly.

Ren hissed at the coldness in his voice.

"Nothing, just want to know you. My name is Ren Tachihara, nice to meet you" Ren smiles warmly, trying to keep the conversation light and easy.

Haruki looks at him for a while then he shuts the locker's door.

"If there's nothing important, then don't talk to me." Haruki says. He walks out and leaves Ren alone.

Ren falls silent, the warm smile on his face drops. He sighs softly.

"He's...Weird..."
