Episode 1 beginning of sadness

Silence filled the room.

The silence between them was hard to ignore.

Noah felt shy and embarrassed and warmness from David body because he were being carry in an bride style

But the other man seemed determined to say something he had been holding back for a long time.

As they entered the room, David gently put Noah down on the bed and handed him a glass of water.

Suddenly, the silence broke.

“T-Thanks…” Noah said softly, his voice gentle and sincere.

“Hmmm."

David only responded calmly, almost coldly.

An awkward silence once again filled the air.

Then—

Ring! Ring! Ring! Ring!

David picked up the phone.

there was clear annoyance in David's face by seeing the caller's name.

“He’s fine.”

“Hmmm...…” David replied calmly, though there was clear irritation hidden in his tone.

“Okay,” he said before hanging up the call, his

eyebrows slightly furrowed.

“Was it Mom?” Noah asked nervously.

“What was she asking? Is she angry? Are you angry?”

David let out a quiet sigh, clearly annoyed by the endless nervous questions.

Then he spoke calmly—

“Let’s get a divorce.” Noah!, David pasue one second before saying his name.

The words were spoken so casually, as if they meant nothing.

But to Noah…

Those words were cruel.

His heart suddenly tightened, making it hard to breathe.

“W-What did you just s-say…?” Noah asked in a cracked voice, his trembling hands gripping the bedsheet tightly.

He hoped he had heard wrong.

But—

Reality is cruel!

...

..

.

“Let’s get a divorce, Noah.”

This time, David’s voice was firmer and colder.

Noah stared at him for a long moment.

Slowly, tears gathered in his eyes before sliding down his cheeks without him realizing.

“W-Why…? D-David…?” he asked with a broken voice, his hands trembling uncontrollably, heart pounding so hard that it start to hurt him.

Even though his tears kept falling, he still wanted an answer.

David only raised one eyebrow slightly, as if questioning why Noah was reacting this way at all, completely ignoring Noah’s pain and anxious state.

“This marriage was nothing more than a contract,” David said coldly.

“It was for both our benefits, so don’t make it sound like this relationship was something romantic… and don’t act like I betrayed you.”

His face showed clear annoyance as he spoke.

“B-But why…?” Noah asked in a broken voice, tears still streaming down his face.

“Everything was going w-well… We were finally starting to have a good relationship, so w-why…?”

His voice trembled badly, weak and fragile, almost like a child afraid of losing the only person he trusted.

“Relationship?” David let out a short, mocking laugh.

“Huh? We never had that kind of relationship.”

He looked at Noah with an emotionless expression before continuing—

“It was all an act. A temporary arrangement to stop the rumors that were spreading everywhere.”

David spoke with a cold and distant tone, his sharp words cutting deeper with every second.

“So stop this drama.”

Before Noah could say another word, David pulled out the already signed papers and placed them in front of him.

This paper broke Noah even more!...

As if he tried to kept his illusion but,

Reality start to shatter it!...

..

.......

...

Divorce papers....!!

Before Noah could say another word, David pulled out the already signed papers and placed them in front of him.

The Divorce papers...!!!

“And don’t dare tell the reason for divorcing me… because you can’t get pregnant and don’t want to become a stain on Greyson’s family name,” he said coldly before standing up from his seat and walking away.

When Noah tried to stand and stop David, his legs gave up beneath him. He fell to the floor, yet still crawled toward him, grabbing David’s leg with trembling hands. Tears streamed down his face, wetting the marble floor beneath him. His voice cracked, low and broken, but he still begged desperately.

“P-Please… d-don’t leave me. I can’t live without you…” Noah cried.

“Please…

Please…

Please…”

“I’m sorry, David… I’m really sorry. P-Please don’t leave me…”

Noah’s voice sounded more like desperate begging than words, his trembling body refusing to let go of the man walking away from him.

David shoved him aside so hard that Noah’s head slammed against the table, making the vase on top of it stumble before crashing onto the floor with a loud shatter.

Noah’s POV

Suddenly, David’s phone rang.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

He picked up the call, and instantly, the annoyance on his face disappeared. His expression softened, almost gentle, and his voice became unexpectedly sweet as he spoke to the person on the other end.

I watched him silently.

For the first time in my life…

for the first time in five years of marriage…

I saw David smile.

A real smile.

The kind of smile I had spent years trying to bring to his face.

The kind of smile I had desperately wished to receive from him, even once.

But in the end…

That smile was never meant for me.

Suddenly, I felt something warm trickling down my forehead. Blood slowly oozed from the wound on my head, staining the cold floor beneath me.

My vision began to blur.

My body slowly turned numb.

Even breathing started becoming difficult.

But none of it compared to the pain crushing my heart.

The last thing I saw…

was David’s back facing me as he walked away without hesitation.

Leaving me behind.

Abandoning me.

The very thing I had always feared…

had finally happened.

My eyes slowly began to close.

Then everything turned black.

...

...

...

Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through my head, forcing my eyes to slowly open again.

The strong smell of medicine filled the air.

The steady dripping sound of the IV echoed quietly through the silent room.

I found myself lying on a hospital bed, dressed in a patient’s gown. My body felt weak and heavy as I slowly looked around the room.

No one was there.

As always.

A bitter smile appeared on my lips.

Of course… why did I even expect anyone to stay?

Suddenly—!!!!

They came...

The moment I heard the sound of footsteps approaching, my heart started pounding so hard that it felt like it would jump out of my chest.

Not because of excitement.

Not because of happiness.

But because of fear.

Pure fear.

My fingers tightened around the hospital bedsheet as my breathing became uneven.

Every step coming closer to the room made my body tremble uncontrollably.

I didn’t know why…

but deep inside, I already knew—

Nothing good was about to happen.
