" This is scary , papa " ,shiro was only 8 years old when she came back with her family from abroad, all the soothing yet new environment made a little kid like her panic. " You will be fine baby, we know you can do it " replied shiro's father to calm his child's mind. " But papa I miss my old friends ,I am sure they miss me too can't we go back ?" her doe eyes deliberately praying for her dad to listen to her . But life has its own way of doing the things , she has been living out all her life but eventually people return to their old life which happens exactly to her too . Everything was new but shiro was a smart ,humble child . As shiro step in her first classroom in hometown her eyes struck on a boy who looks like a thug , someone who bully for fun ,she dared not to provoke this kind of boy, so she back off, seeing shiro's being scared the boy start teasing shiro," well a newbie? You scared? "Shiro who was backing off a bit suddenly remembered that his father taught her to be strong and act suddenly" TF you calling scared too huh" , she was again teased " ay what's with your accent, you don't even know how to speak our language properly" shiro stood on her ground," I don't have time to talk with ya I am going bye" ,her suddenly acting like she is done with everything took a toll on that boy ,he remained amazed.

Soon after the boy got curious, he wasn't a bad guy , he was someone who was playful, teasing , and the top of the class . The second time they meet again " not you again? Why are you here aren't you done teasing me that you come all the way here ? " shiro snapped on the boy , they met at yet again a coaching place , " dumb head you thought I was following you, huh? I am in fact has been here for a few months already" the boy stated ", shiro put an annoyed face as if she was done " really? I don't want to see you at all and now I have to see your face each day " .

As shiro and that boy meet each other everyday ,as typical as it is , the boy kept teasing, shiro wasn't as annoyed as before after few years , they turn into a really great friends , going everywhere together, doing things together, shiro now is in 7th class , her playful and friendly nature turn into quite foundnes for the same boy she hated before. Shiro was confused, she was a great student too trying hard for studies, all she thought was she was just feeling this kind of way because they have been friends together for years and all friends feels this way , who knew she was falling hard and already caught up in a love which seems impossible yet luring to her tomboy nature....

A few years is all it takes for her to realize she has already fallen hard for his best friend, she never really tried to confess, although she imagines life how it would be if he glanced at her for once , it wasn't like the boy completely ignored her ,he was clueless , he was the same as before teasing shiro any moment he got . One day when she was in 8th class she thought to herself " should I atleast tell him how I feel? " she was murmuring in the classroom that her friends even thought she was in her unusual self...the boy saw it all but just ignored it saying " she must be thinking something nonsense again" . There were times she cried herself to sleep when she couldn't bear it anymore but she kept her hope up each and every time they met...but it didn't take long when the boy kept his distance with her , she knew something was off but didn't get the gut to confront him.

It was a random day she came to class early as usual her heart shred into pieces she saw him with her bestfriend , shiro held her tears and sat in the class room , days pass by she held herself strong all she could think was " no i shouldn't confess it will ruin our friendship " it was the only call she could get in her head so she kept bearing the pain ...

It was a rainy day , Shiro was heartbroken but she was still planning to say out loud for once that she likes him ,so she came eagerly to one of her coaching where she goes together with the boy , the boy never came that day so shiro stood still her heart thumping with anxiety and when the teacher told her the boy's parents called in sick for him , suddenly she didn't have any conscience any more she ran to his house, " shit what am I even doing" shiro eyes filled with tears but she was planning still to get it off her chest " i promise I will just tell him and expect nothing" is all she said , once she got there he was in his room sick in bed , she approached him and seeing his face lighten up got shiro's heart all happy she again thought " reacting like this seeing me means he likes me ?so I still have a chance" , her thoughts got interrupted by the boy's voice " I gotta tell you something shiro , " shiro's face shows eagerness to hear " yes go ahead I have something to tell you too " .

The next word from the boy's mouth shattered her world for the very first time " I will be happy if you can help me confess to your best friend I like her very much she means the word to me " . Eyes filled with tears , ear ringing badly shiro promised to help her very first love as an act of love ," you know I am always here for you " , the boy chuckled " I know that's why we are best friends remember". With a heavy heart and a worn out smile shiro came back home " I wish you would never see my pathetic side ever " she swore herself...

The first day they met in the classroom shiro held her tears yet again, forcing a smile , the boy came to her and asked " you forgot to tell me yesterday about something what is it? " . " it's nothing serious at all " shiro replied her eyes looking down , " don't tell me you fall in love with me " this few words caught shiro red handed, her eyes widened and her stare Fierce through his face " don't give me that look I was just joking" , " you....! " shiro push him away and went to her seat her heart is thumping like crazy , and another bombshell was drop to her , the boy came up to her and said " well I will be staying in bording from now on , i told you yesterday right i couldn't wait and confess and she agreed" . A burst of tears came through, shiro couldn't hold back anymore and she stood up gave a smile " good for you " and left the classroom, the boy stayed confused " what the hell? " .

before even saying, her love was over right there , there were times they fought just because shiro was jealous that they were growing apart, she would bring it up just for the boy to take everything downhill and claim her as someone who acts out of control and who was just a mere friend..

It was in 10th grade ,The last day shiro came to realise he never really likes her was when she heard him talking " I was friends with her just to get to her best friend" while laughing with another guy , shiro decided to continue her stories further abroad. It wasn't an easy decision, but seeing her all depressed her parents couldn't hold back and agree with her .

It was a subtle morning, shiro came for the last time to bid farewell to the boy as a good friend she always was she didn't want to bring the guilt with her and leave the story behind she went to his home , standing on his front door just to hear his parents saying " oh he left saying he got to send your bestfriend off didn't he tell you ? we thought you three went together" ... Shiro knew it , she has to accept it someday but each and every time it Stings hard , heart completely shattered she never once told her first love about how she feels , it was one sided and will always be .

" why am I so unlucky? I wish I never have met you ,and yea now I am going for good " she whispered to herself before she leaves her whole story behind . For the first time in her life, shiro felt the pain for knowing what is love and how Deep can a heart break can be .
