Dedication
“A piece of my heart, by Katha—
for the love that refused to fade.”
...****************...
🖤 Aradhya’s Voice (Strong, Silent, Unbreakable)
**“From Katha—
for every woman who loved in silence,
who was left behind… yet never truly broken.
You were not weak for staying,
nor wrong for walking away.
Like her, you were simply waiting—
not to be chosen,
but to be seen.”**
🔥 Ekansh’s Voice (Regret & Redemption)
**“From Katha—
for the hearts that realized too late,
that love was never gone… just waiting to be understood.
Some mistakes don’t fade with time,
and some people… become the reason you learn to feel.
This is for those
who lost love once—
and dared to fight for it again.”**
...****************...
Married for a night… strangers for years—until the wife he abandoned returns as a woman he can’t control.
She was never his weakness… but now she might be the only reason he learns to believe in love.
...****************...
Aradya Rajvanshi —
Aradya is not written as a “perfect female lead.”
She is written as a woman who learned how to survive silently.
At first glance, she appears calm, mature, disciplined, and emotionally controlled. People around her see:
a successful CEO,
an ideal daughter-in-law,
a responsible granddaughter,
and a woman who never loses composure.
But beneath that composed exterior—
Aradya is deeply emotional.
She loves quietly but completely.
That is the core of her character.
She does not fight for love loudly. She waits. Protects. Endures. Remembers.
Even after Ekansh abandoned the marriage emotionally, she still preserved his room exactly the same—not because she was weak, but because somewhere inside her, she never allowed herself to destroy the possibility of “them.”
Her love language is care.
Not words.
That’s why:
she remembers his coffee preference,
cooks separately for him,
protects his image before the family,
hides her own pain,
and still gives him comfort despite being hurt.
But Aradya is not submissive.
That’s important.
She has boundaries.
When Kartik crosses limits, she shuts him down immediately. When Ekansh indirectly hurts her, she does not beg him to stay. When she says:
“I am not an object… that anyone will use whenever you want.”
—that line defines her entire character.
She may love deeply, but she will never let herself become disposable.
Another important layer: Aradya separates personal pain from responsibility.
No matter how emotionally broken she feels:
she still runs the company,
handles clients,
takes care of the family,
and protects everyone emotionally.
That duality makes her powerful.
At home, she becomes soft. Outside, she becomes untouchable.
And perhaps the saddest thing about her character is this:
She has become so used to loving alone… that she already prepared herself for a one-sided marriage.
Even her sleeping on the couch is symbolic.
She keeps giving him space— while quietly shrinking her own.
But despite all this pain, Aradya still has innocence left inside her.
Her humming songs. Eating ice cream while crying. Getting scared in the bedroom. Acting cute with Akansha. Teasing Siddharth.
These moments show: she is still emotionally young in love.
She is not cold.
She is simply careful with her heart now.
In one line:
Aradya Rajvanshi is a woman who loves softly, suffers silently, and stands strongly even when her own heart is breaking.
...****************...
Ekansh Rajvanshi —
Ekansh is not a cruel man.
But he is emotionally irresponsible in the beginning.
And that difference matters.
He was forced into marriage. He lost control over his own life decisions. So instead of fighting the situation—
He ran away from it emotionally.
Italy became his escape.
Distance became his shield.
The biggest flaw in Ekansh’s character is avoidance.
He avoids:
difficult conversations,
emotional accountability,
vulnerability,
and attachment.
That’s why when he returns, he expects the relationship to remain emotionally disconnected.
But what shakes him is this:
Aradya never hated him.
She simply… stayed.
And that destroys his emotional balance.
Because hatred is easier to face.
Quiet loyalty? Silent love? Preserved memories?
Those things create guilt.
And slowly— that guilt starts turning into attachment.
Ekansh’s character development begins the moment he notices details:
the untouched room,
his organized wardrobe,
his coffee preference,
her distance,
her silence,
and the fact that she still protects him.
He begins realizing: while he escaped the marriage, Aradya lived inside it.
One of the strongest parts of his character is that he is observant emotionally, even if he pretends not to be.
He notices:
her expressions,
her hesitation,
her fake calmness,
the way she lowers her eyes,
the way her voice changes,
the way she avoids him.
And slowly— he becomes affected by all of it.
The dangerous part of Ekansh’s personality is possessiveness.
It has not fully surfaced yet.
But the signs are there:
irritation at Siddharth,
relief when she refuses divorce,
subconscious happiness hearing “my husband,”
watching her constantly,
noticing every man around her,
feeling unsettled when she distances herself.
Right now, he is confused.
But once Ekansh truly falls—
He will fall completely.
Not gently.
Not rationally.
And that is where the “dangerous slow-burn” of your story truly begins.
Because Ekansh is a man who suppresses emotions for too long.
And suppressed emotions often return as obsession.
Another beautiful layer in his character: despite emotional immaturity, he is not intentionally disrespectful.
The moment he realizes Aradya suffered too— his perspective starts changing.
That guilt becomes the foundation of emotional intimacy.
Not pity.
Understanding.
And slowly: he starts wanting her presence naturally.
That is why:
her singing affects him,
her absence feels noticeable,
her care unsettles him,
and sharing the same room suddenly feels intimate.
For the first time, Ekansh is experiencing emotional belonging.
And he doesn’t know how to handle it.
In one line:
Ekansh Rajvanshi is a man who ran from a forced marriage—only to return and realize his heart had been waiting there all along.
...****************...
Morning sunlight filtered lazily through the curtains as Ekansh Rajvanshi finally dragged himself out of bed. After a moment of reluctance, he made his way to the washroom, freshened up, and prepared for the day ahead. Standing before the mirror, he adjusted his hair with practiced precision, a faint smirk playing on his lips.
“Perfect,” he muttered under his breath, admiring his reflection. “I am the most handsome one.”
Grabbing his laptop bag and phone, he walked downstairs with his usual composed confidence.
Far away, in the middle of the vast ocean near Italy, the atmosphere was anything but calm.
Under the blazing afternoon sun, a massive private ship stood still amidst endless waters. The deck was filled with guards dressed in black uniforms, their movements sharp and restless. Some of them dove repeatedly into the ocean, searching desperately for something hidden beneath the waves.
Tension hung thick in the air.
On the far side of the ship, away from the chaos, Ekansh sat silently on a chair, a laptop resting on his lap. His long fingers moved swiftly across the keyboard, his focus unbroken. His face, however, was unreadable—cold, distant, almost lifeless.
Behind him stood Dev Singh, his assistant, hesitating. He seemed unsure how to speak, how to interrupt the silence that surrounded his boss. Just as he gathered courage, a deep, chilling voice broke the stillness.
“Did you find it?”
Dev stiffened. “Boss… we found it.”
Ekansh paused for a second, then leaned back slightly, a faint smirk appearing. “Good. Let’s go back.”
“Y-yes…” Dev replied, but his voice faltered.
Ekansh noticed immediately. His gaze sharpened.
“What more?”
Dev swallowed nervously. “B-boss… we found a body.”
Ekansh’s expression darkened, irritation flickering across his face. “Then why bring that up? Leave it.”
Before the moment could settle, Dev quickly added, “Boss… she’s alive.”
That changed everything.
Ekansh stilled.
“…Then?” he said slowly.
Dev continued, his voice low but clear this time. “That woman… she was holding the Ruby Diamond.”
Ekansh rubbed his forehead, exhaling softly. “You do like bringing trouble.”
Without another word, he closed his laptop and stood up. His steps were calm, but there was a subtle urgency beneath them as he walked across the deck. Dev followed closely, guiding him to where the girl had been placed.
“There,” Dev said quietly.
Ekansh stopped.
For the first time, his composure cracked.
The girl lay unconscious on a chair, her long black hair falling across her face, partially hiding her features. Her clothes were soaked, clinging to her fragile body, evidence of the ocean’s grip.
Something stirred inside him—something unfamiliar and unsettling.
As if pulled by an invisible force, Ekansh stepped closer. His heartbeat, usually steady and controlled, felt… off. Heavy.
He reached out and held her wrist gently, checking her pulse.
Weak.
“How long?” he asked, his voice lower now.
“Boss… at least thirty minutes before she regains consciousness.”
Ekansh’s jaw tightened.
“Be quick,” he ordered sharply. “Her pulse is weak. Prepare a team of doctors at the hospital. Immediately.”
Dev nodded without hesitation.
But Ekansh didn’t move.
His eyes remained fixed on her face, as if trying to understand why a stranger—someone he had never seen before—was making his chest feel so… uneasy.
Dangerous.
Important.
“Boss… I’m leaving to call ahead,” Dev said, already dialing as he hurried off.
Ekansh didn’t respond.
His attention was elsewhere.
Slowly, almost unconsciously, he reached out and brushed the strands of wet hair away from the girl’s face. His fingers paused mid-air.
For a moment, the world around him seemed to disappear.
Her face was pale, almost lifeless—but breathtaking. Two tiny moles rested delicately on her skin, making her beauty strangely captivating… unforgettable.
His heartbeat, usually steady and controlled, turned erratic.
Fast. Loud.
Unfamiliar.
But then—
His gaze shifted.
Her lips had turned slightly bluish.
His expression hardened.
His eyes moved lower… and stopped.
A deep cut marked her abdomen, the dried blood mixing with seawater. It wasn’t a small wound. It was the kind that should have taken her life already.
For a brief second, even Ekansh—the man who feared nothing—felt something close to disbelief.
How is she still alive?
The ship had already reached the city.
But Ekansh hadn’t noticed.
He stood there, lost in thoughts he couldn’t explain—until a voice pulled him back.
“Boss… shall we go?” Dev said carefully.
Ekansh blinked, regaining his usual cold composure. “Yeah.”
He straightened slightly, then spoke again.
“Get up.”
Dev turned toward the guards. “Boy—”
But before he could finish—
Ekansh removed his coat in one swift motion and gently wrapped it around the unconscious girl. Then, without hesitation, he lifted her into his arms.
Silence fell.
Every single person on the deck froze.
Shock spread across their faces.
Ekansh Rajvanshi… carrying someone himself?
Dev’s eyes widened, but he said nothing. He simply followed as Ekansh walked ahead, his steps firm, controlled—yet strangely urgent.
Within moments, they reached the cars.
The convoy sped toward the nearest hospital.
Inside the car, Ekansh still held her carefully, as if even the slightest movement could break her.
Dev, sitting across from him, couldn’t help but steal glances at the girl.
Who is she?
What kind of person survives the ocean… with that injury… and still holds onto the Ruby Diamond?
But more than that—
Why is Boss acting like this?
Dev had never seen this side of Ekansh.
Not once.
The man who didn’t care whether someone lived or died… was now watching over a stranger like she mattered.
Like she was… important.
Ekansh’s gaze remained fixed on her face.
His jaw tightened slightly.
“Drive faster.”
The driver pressed harder on the accelerator.
Outside, the city blurred past.
Inside, something had already changed.
And none of them—not even Ekansh himself—understood what had just begun.
...****************...
Within ten minutes, the cars screeched to a halt outside the hospital.
The entire area was already surrounded by black-suited guards. No one dared to step closer.
Ekansh stepped out, still holding the unconscious girl in his arms. His grip was firm, yet careful—something no one had ever seen before.
The moment the doctors noticed him, they straightened instantly.
“Mr. Rajvanshi—”
“Save her.”
His voice was low, but carried authority that left no room for delay.
The doctors rushed her inside.
Outside the ICU, Ekansh sat silently on the bench, his elbows resting on his knees, fingers interlocked. His face was calm… but his eyes were darker than usual.
Dev stood beside him, lost in his thoughts.
Why do I feel like I know her…?
Not just know… I’ve heard about her…
She’s not normal… she’s dangerous…
“Dev.”
His body stiffened. “Yes, Boss.”
“Find everything about her.”
A small shock hit him—but he hid it well. “Alright, Boss.”
But inside—
Boss… interested in a woman?
I thought he—
Ekansh slowly lifted his gaze.
Dev froze.
“Stop thinking nonsense,” Ekansh said coldly. “And do your job.”
Dev flinched. “Y-Yes!”
He definitely reads minds…
After some time, the doctor came out.
“Mr. Rajvanshi, she is out of danger.”
Ekansh gave a slight nod. “Condition?”
The doctor hesitated. “Frankly… it’s unbelievable. She was in the ocean for four to five hours. With that injury… survival is almost impossible.”
Ekansh’s eyes didn’t move.
“Can I take her?”
“If you can arrange full medical care at home, yes. I’ll send a doctor and nurse.”
“Do it.”
Within an hour, she was shifted to his private villa.
As Ekansh entered carrying her, the entire mansion froze.
Servants. Guards. Staff.
Everyone stared.
Ekansh Rajvanshi… hated touch.
Yet he carried her like she mattered.
Without a word, he walked straight to a room and gently placed her on the bed.
“Sir…?” Leo, the head butler, stepped forward in shock.
Ekansh didn’t even look at him.
“Take care of her. You’re responsible.”
Leo’s eyes widened. “Y-Yes, Sir…”
Ekansh left.
“Doctor… what happened to her?” Leo asked nervously.
“She’s in a temporary coma.”
Leo inhaled sharply. “How long?”
“Two to three days… maybe more.”
Two Days Later
“DEV!”
The shout echoed across the mansion.
Dev rushed in, almost stumbling. “Y-Yes, Boss!”
Ekansh stood near the window, his back facing him.
“Useless,” he said coldly. “You still don’t have her information?”
Dev’s throat went dry. “Boss… there’s nothing. No records. No identity.”
Silence.
“It’s like…” Dev hesitated, “…she doesn’t exist.”
Ekansh slowly turned.
“Do you hear yourself?”
Dev lowered his head.
Before the tension could rise further—
Knock. Knock.
“Sir…” Leo’s voice came from outside. “She’s awake.”
Ekansh didn’t wait.
He walked out immediately.
As he passed Dev—
“Be ready. I’ll deal with you later.”
Dev gulped and followed.
Inside the Room
She was sitting on the bed.
Still.
Silent.
Her face blank… like she felt nothing.
Ekansh stopped a few steps away.
For a moment—
He just looked at her.
She slowly lifted her eyes.
Their gazes met.
And the air changed.
“Sir, she is stable now,” the doctor said. “Just make sure her wounds are cleaned regularly.”
Ekansh nodded.
The doctor left.
Silence returned.
Ekansh stepped closer.
“Can you hear me?”
No response.
She kept staring at him.
Unblinking.
Almost… fearless.
His brows frowned slightly.
“Are you mute?”
Still nothing.
Behind him, Dev’s heart started racing.
This is bad… she’s not reacting… she’s observing…
Then—
She moved.
Slowly.
Her fingers clenched the bedsheet.
Her gaze sharpened slightly.
And finally—
“…Where am I?”
Her voice was soft… but steady.
Ekansh’s eyes narrowed.
“My place.”
A pause.
“You were found in the ocean.”
She blinked once.
“…Ocean…”
Then her gaze shifted back to him.
Sharp.
“Who… are you?”
Ekansh didn’t answer immediately.
Instead, he stepped closer… enough to tower over her.
“That’s not important.”
A pause.
“Do you remember who you are?”
Silence.
Her eyes flickered—just for a second.
Something passed through them.
Fast.
Dangerous.
Gone.
“…No.”
Dev froze behind them.
She’s lying…
Or worse… she actually doesn’t remember…
Ekansh studied her face carefully.
Then—
A slow, cold smirk appeared.
“Fine.”
He straightened.
“Until you remember…”
His voice dropped.
“You stay here.”
For the first time—
A reaction.
Very small.
But real.
Her fingers tightened slightly.
Her eyes darkened.
Not fear.
Not confusion.
Something else.
Something that made even Dev uneasy.
Boss…
You just brought a storm into your own house…
