Across from him, Jimin looked unimpressed

Outside the train windows, massive mountains disappeared into silver clouds while glowing currents moved through the sky.
And right in the center—
Even Jungkook had to admit it looked insane
Floating bridges.
Ancient black towers.
Elemental lights glowing everywhere.
Jimin pressed his face to the glass dramatically

“This place looks like people die here.”
Jungkook
"They probably do.”
Jimin
“You said that too casually.”
The train suddenly slowed.
The atmosphere inside changed immediately.
Students straightened up.
Conversations lowered.
Jungkook
Jungkook sighed. “Why does everyone suddenly look constipated?”
Jimin
“Because we’re entering the most elite university in elemental society?”
Jungkook
“Right. Forgets.”
The train doors opened.
Cold mountain wind hit instantly.
Purple air currents flickered briefly around Jungkook’s fingers before disappearing.
His smile dropped for half a second.
Then came back immediately.
Jimin noticed anyway.

“Bestie behavior honestly.”
Jimin rolled his eyes and dragged him off the train.
The second they entered the main courtyard, noise exploded everywhere.
Students.
Families.
Elemental powers flashing constantly.
Massive banners floated above the courtyard:

A fire elemental nearby accidentally sent sparks into the sky.
Someone yelled.
Someone laughed.
A professor threatened expulsion already.

Jungkook looked around slowly. “Okay. This place might actually be fun.”
Jimin
“You say fun. I say emotionally traumatizing.”
Suddenly whispers spread through the crowd.
“He’s here.”
“The Kim heir.”
Students shifted aside almost instantly.
And then Jungkook saw him.
Kim Taehyung.
Dark coat.
Hands in pockets.
Walking calmly through absolute chaos like he owned it.

Jimin leaned closer immediately. “Oh.”
Jimin
“He’s hotter than the rumors.”
Jungkook
Jungkook scoffed. “You’re embarrassing.”
Jimin
“You looked too long.”
Jungkook
“I literally didn’t."
Jimin
“You literally are right now.”
Jungkook ignored him.
Technically.
Taehyung looked exactly the same as every formal event Jungkook had ever seen him at.
Perfect posture.
Perfect expression.
Perfect heir.
Jungkook already disliked him.
As if feeling the stare, Taehyung suddenly looked up.
Directly at him.
The air around Jungkook shifted strangely.
Purple wind curled lightly around his sleeves.
Taehyung’s eyes flickered downward briefly.
Like he noticed.
Annoying.
Very annoying.
Jungkook smirked lazily anyway.
Taehyung didn’t react.
Not even slightly.
Jungkook
“What’s with his face?” Jungkook muttered. “Does he know smiling exists?”
Jimin
“He looks expensive.”
Jungkook
“That is not a personality trait.”
Before Jimin could answer, someone slammed into Jungkook’s shoulder while rushing through the crowd.
