She freezes for a second... her heart pounding

Smoke rises from a car nearby 🌫️

She nervously steps closer 👣

The car headlights flicker 💡

A faint sound comes from inside the car

She carefully moves closer to the damaged car 🚶‍♀️

For a moment—silence.

Nistha gasps 😧

Fear and worry fill her eyes.

She moves closer to the window, her hands shaking 👀

Inside—

A man was leaning against the seat, injured and barely conscious. 🩹

The man slowly opens his eyes

Sharp. Cold. Dangerous.

Blood stained his white shirt, but his expression remained unreadable.

Nistha suddenly feels uneasy.

Before she can move—

Nistha freezes.

His gaze stays fixed on her.

He silently studies her, as if judging every word.

He slowly looks at the damaged car... then back at her.

A phone inside the car suddenly rings.

Nistha swallows nervously. 😰

The man doesn't even look at it. His sharp eyes remain fixed on her. 👀❄️

His voice is low. Calm. Yet impossible to ignore.

Nistha hesitates... then carefully picks up the phone with trembling hands. 📱

The man suddenly takes the phone from her hand.

Silence.

He ended the call

Before she can think further— 🚘🚘🚘 Headlights appear at the far end of the road. Nistha looks up.

The approaching vehicles move faster. Dark black cars.

Nistha's heartbeat pounds louder.

For the first time... a faint shadow of danger crosses the man's face.

Before Nistha can react, he grabs her wrist and pulls her towards the side of the road, this is a thickly shadowed area

Nistha stumbles, her heartbeat racing.

His voice is low and controlled. No panic. No fear. ❄️ Heavy footsteps approach. 👞👞

Nistha's face turns pale.

Her voice shakes.

The man glances at her. Even injured, his expression remains unreadable.

For a second— She realizes how close they are. The cold scent of rain and smoke surrounds him. 🌧️🖤 His injured arm presses against the metal as he shields their hiding spot. Nistha lowers her gaze, nervous and frightened.

Nistha hears their voices and starts trembling.

The man notices.

For the first time, his sharp gaze softens—just slightly.

He stays silent for a moment. Then—

Nistha's blood runs cold. 😨

She instinctively steps back—

—but her foot hits loose gravel.

Crunch. 🍂

Silence.

The light comes closer. Without hesitation— He places one hand beside her head, trapping her between himself and the wall to hide her completely. This is an abandoned area. Broken houses stood like forgotten shadows. Some had collapsed roofs... Some had only cracked walls left standing. And they are hiding behind one of such wall

Tear escapes her eye. He notices. His dark gaze briefly drops to her trembling face.

Footsteps approach. Nistha's hands shake harder. Without thinking—

She grabs his coat. For the first time... his eyes flicker toward her hand.

He slowly lowers his face closer— so close that his voice becomes barely a whisper near her ear.

The footsteps finally begin to fade.

Suddenly-

A sharp sound echoes nearby.

CLICK

Nistha freezes.

The stranger's expression hardens instantly. His gaze shifts toward the trees.

💥 BANG!!

A bullet strikes the wall. 🚗💥 Nistha screams and drops her phone. 😨 Without warning— he pulls her against him and drags her behind cover.

He grabs her hand and pulls her toward the forest. Rain suddenly starts falling.

An old abandoned cabin appears between the trees. They enter. The cabin is dusty and silent. Rain taps against broken windows. Nistha hugs herself, still shaking.

Blood slowly drips from his hand onto the wooden floor. Nistha notices.

He studies her for a moment.
