Voyager the Journey

VOYAGER: THE BEGINNING

Episode 1 — The Call of the Lost Sea

The evening sky burned deep orange as violent waves slammed against the harbor walls. Fishing boats rocked endlessly in the restless water while cold sea wind swept through the quiet coastal town of Aster Cove. To most people, the ocean was simply a place to earn a living.

But to Ryan, it was something far greater.

It was calling him.

Ryan stood silently at the edge of the wooden dock, staring toward the endless horizon where the sea disappeared into darkness. His black coat fluttered in the wind while distant thunder echoed far beyond the waves.

Beside him stood his uncle, Marcus, a tall man whose face carried years of hardship and regret.

“Ryan…” Marcus finally spoke. “Tell me honestly. Are you truly serious about this journey?”

Ryan did not answer immediately.

The crashing waves filled the silence between them.

Marcus sighed heavily and continued.

“You speak about crossing forbidden waters as if it’s some ordinary voyage. Do you even understand what lies beyond those seas?”

Ryan slowly turned toward him.

“I understand enough.”

Marcus clenched his jaw.

“No,” he replied sharply. “You don’t.”

For a moment, neither of them spoke.

Then Marcus looked toward the ocean with tired eyes.

“Your grandfather was called Voyager for a reason,” he said quietly. “He explored oceans no sailor dared to cross. He searched for islands and civilizations believed to be myths.”

The wind grew stronger.

“He became famous around the world,” Marcus continued. “But fame means nothing to the dead.”

Ryan remained silent.

Marcus lowered his voice.

“Thirty years ago, he sailed into the Bermuda Triangle with his crew…”

His eyes darkened.

“…and never returned.”

The harbor suddenly felt colder.

“Not a single sailor came back,” Marcus said. “No shipwreck. No bodies. Nothing.”

Ryan’s expression hardened.

“You think I don’t know that?” he asked calmly.

Marcus looked at him carefully.

“Then why continue chasing his madness?”

Ryan stepped closer to the edge of the dock.

“Because it wasn’t madness.”

Lightning flashed across the distant sky.

“My grandfather dedicated his entire life to finding something hidden from the world,” Ryan said. “Everyone called him insane because they were afraid of the unknown.”

He turned toward Marcus.

“But I’m not afraid.”

Marcus studied Ryan carefully.

Ever since childhood, Ryan had been different from everyone else in town. While others learned fishing and trade, Ryan trained endlessly.

Sword combat.

Navigation.

Survival skills.

Hunting.

Even military tactics.

People in Aster Cove had started calling him Hunter-D18 after he defeated a giant wild beast alone in the northern forest at age sixteen.

Marcus knew there was no changing his mind.

Ryan’s determination resembled his grandfather too much.

“I’ll need a ship,” Ryan continued. “Not a small fishing vessel. A strong exploration ship capable of surviving storms.”

Marcus crossed his arms.

“And?”

“A doctor. Trained officers. Weapons. Supplies for several months. Around ten crew members should be enough.”

Marcus stared at him in disbelief.

“You’ve planned all this already?”

“Yes.”

“And you don’t even have a map.”

Ryan reached into his coat pocket and removed a folded piece of paper.

“I have this.”

Marcus unfolded it carefully.

It was an old hand-drawn map covered in strange markings and faded symbols. Several sections looked burned or torn away.

At the center was one sentence written in dark ink:

“The gateway opens when five stars fall.”

Marcus felt chills run down his spine.

“This map…” he whispered.

“It belonged to Grandfather,” Ryan said. “I found it hidden inside his old study.”

Marcus looked disturbed.

“That man should’ve burned every trace of this insanity before he disappeared.”

Ryan’s eyes narrowed.

“You knew something, didn’t you?”

Marcus immediately looked away.

Ryan stepped closer.

“Uncle… what aren’t you telling me?”

Marcus hesitated before speaking.

“The night your grandfather left…” he said quietly, “…the sky changed.”

Ryan frowned.

“There was a storm unlike anything I’d ever seen. The sea turned black. Strange lights appeared above the water.”

Marcus swallowed hard.

“And then five stars crossed the sky.”

Ryan’s heartbeat quickened.

“The exact same event mentioned in the journal.”

Marcus nodded slowly.

“Your grandfather believed those stars revealed a hidden path somewhere inside the Bermuda Triangle.”

Ryan stared at the map intensely.

“The gateway…”

Marcus suddenly grabbed Ryan’s shoulder firmly.

“Listen to me carefully,” he warned. “Whatever your grandfather discovered out there… it terrified him.”

Ryan looked confused.

“What do you mean?”

Marcus hesitated again.

“Three days before he left, I heard him speaking to someone late at night.”

“To who?”

“I don’t know.”

Marcus lowered his voice.

“But I heard him say this clearly…”

The wind howled violently around them.

“‘If the gate opens again… humanity may not survive what lies beyond it.’”

Silence.

Only the sound of crashing waves remained.

Ryan slowly looked toward the dark ocean once more.

Instead of fear, excitement filled his eyes.

“Then I need to know the truth even more.”

Marcus stared at him in disbelief before finally letting out a defeated sigh.

“…You truly are his grandson.”

Ryan smirked slightly.

Marcus shook his head.

“Fine. I’ll arrange the ship and supplies.”

Ryan’s eyes widened slightly.

“You will?”

“I know I can’t stop you,” Marcus replied. “But if you’re going to sail toward death, at least do it properly.”

Ryan smiled for the first time that evening.

“Thank you, Uncle.”

Later that night, heavy rain began falling over Aster Cove.

Inside a small harbor house illuminated by lantern light, Ryan sat at a wooden table covered in maps and ancient notes.

Suddenly, the door burst open.

“Ryan!”

A young man rushed inside, soaked from the rain.

Lorenzo.

Ryan’s closest friend since childhood.

Lorenzo looked around the room in confusion.

“What’s happening here?” he asked. “The entire harbor says you’re preparing for some crazy expedition.”

Ryan remained calm.

“Close the door first.”

Lorenzo did so before sitting across from him.

Ryan reached beneath the table and carefully placed an ancient leather-bound journal onto the wood.

Dust covered its faded cover.

Lorenzo’s eyes widened instantly.

“That looks ancient…”

“It belonged to my grandfather,” Ryan said.

Lorenzo froze.

“The Voyager?”

Ryan nodded.

He slowly opened the final pages.

The journal contained strange symbols, sketches of oceans, star patterns, and drawings of enormous structures hidden beneath waves.

“What exactly am I looking at?” Lorenzo asked nervously.

Ryan pointed toward one drawing.

“The Bermuda Triangle.”

Lorenzo blinked.

“You can’t be serious.”

“Look closer.”

Inside the drawing was a circular symbol surrounded by five stars.

Ryan explained carefully.

“According to this journal, somewhere deep within the South Atlantic exists a hidden gateway connected to the Bermuda Triangle.”

“A gateway to where?”

Ryan turned another page.

His voice lowered.

“To a lost civilization.”

Lightning flashed outside.

“The City of Gods.”

Lorenzo stared at him silently.

Ryan continued.

“Long ago, humans and gods supposedly lived together there. But war, greed, and betrayal corrupted humanity.”

He pointed toward faded writing.

“The gods sealed the city away from the world forever.”

Lorenzo shook his head slowly.

“This sounds impossible.”

“Maybe,” Ryan admitted. “But ships and aircraft still disappear in the Bermuda Triangle even today.”

The room grew quiet.

Ryan leaned forward.

“My grandfather believed those disappearances weren’t accidents.”

Lorenzo frowned.

“Then what are they?”

Ryan’s eyes darkened.

“People crossing the gateway.”

Thunder exploded outside the harbor.

For several seconds, Lorenzo said nothing.

Then he suddenly laughed nervously.

“You know… most people would call you insane right now.”

Ryan smirked slightly.

“Will you?”

Lorenzo looked at the journal again.

Then toward the storm outside.

Finally, he grinned.

“No.”

Ryan raised an eyebrow.

“I’ve known you too long,” Lorenzo replied. “If there’s even a small chance this is real…”

He extended his hand.

“…then I’m coming with you.”

Ryan shook his hand firmly.

At that exact moment, lightning illuminated the ocean outside the window.

And far beyond the storm…

something enormous moved beneath the waves.

Episode 2 — The Voyage Begins

VOYAGER: THE SEA JOURNY BEGINS

The long-awaited day had finally arrived.

Dark clouds drifted slowly above the harbor of Aster Cove as sailors rushed across the wooden docks carrying crates of supplies onto a massive exploration ship anchored near the shore.

The ship’s name was painted boldly across its side:

THE ECLIPSE

Ryan stood silently at the dock, watching the crew prepare for departure. The salty ocean wind blew through his dark coat while distant seagulls circled above the harbor.

For years, he had dreamed of this moment.

And now… there was no turning back.

Behind him, Lorenzo approached carrying a travel bag over his shoulder.

“You haven’t slept at all, have you?” he asked.

Ryan smirked slightly.

“Would you sleep before sailing toward the most dangerous sea in history?”

Lorenzo laughed nervously.

“Fair point.”

Nearby, Marcus supervised workers loading food, weapons, fuel barrels, medicines, and navigation equipment onto the ship.

Nearly twenty crew members had joined the expedition.

Some came for money.

Some for adventure.

And some simply wanted to escape their old lives.

Ryan slowly walked onto the ship as the crew gathered around him.

One by one, the members introduced themselves.

There were experienced sailors, navigators, mechanics, fighters, and survival experts.

Among them stood a young woman wearing a long white coat while organizing medical supplies.

Naomi.

The expedition’s doctor.

Unlike the others, she showed no fear in her eyes.

Instead… she looked curious.

“So you’re Ryan,” she said while crossing her arms. “The famous Hunter-D18.”

Ryan raised an eyebrow.

“You’ve heard that name before?”

“Who hasn’t?” Naomi replied calmly. “People say you fought wild beasts alone in the northern forests.”

Lorenzo immediately interrupted.

“Don’t praise him too much. His ego is already dangerous.”

Naomi laughed softly.

Ryan ignored him.

“Why did you join this expedition?” he asked her.

Naomi’s expression became quieter.

“Because people don’t only travel to discover the world,” she answered. “Sometimes they travel to escape it.”

Ryan noticed sadness hidden behind her calm smile but chose not to ask further.

Soon, the final preparations were completed.

Marcus approached Ryan one last time.

“You still have time to cancel this madness,” he warned.

Ryan looked toward the endless sea.

“No,” he said firmly. “This journey began long ago… with my grandfather.”

Marcus sighed before handing him an old compass.

Its surface looked ancient and damaged by time.

“This belonged to him,” Marcus said quietly. “He never traveled without it.”

Ryan carefully accepted the compass.

For a brief moment, emotion crossed his face.

“Thank you.”

The harbor bell rang loudly.

The crew quickly moved into position.

Ropes were released.

Massive sails unfolded into the wind.

And slowly…

The Eclipse began moving away from the harbor.

People gathered at the docks to watch the ship disappear into the sea.

Some prayed for their return.

Others believed they would never come back.

For the first few days, the voyage remained peaceful.

The ocean stretched endlessly beneath bright blue skies while cold winds guided the ship deeper into unknown waters.

At daytime, the crew worked together smoothly.

At night, however…

…the sea felt different.

Strange fog often surrounded the ship after sunset.

Huge waves appeared without warning.

And sometimes, distant sounds echoed across the dark water as if something enormous moved beneath the surface.

One evening, Ryan stood alone near the ship’s railing studying his grandfather’s map carefully.

According to the markings, they would soon arrive at an island known as:

Pyrros

A remote trading island located far from normal shipping routes.

Most sailors avoided it because of its dangerous surrounding waters.

But travelers claimed anything could be found there—

Food.

Fuel.

Weapons.

Rare artifacts.

Even illegal goods.

Lorenzo walked beside Ryan carrying a plate of food.

“You’ve been staring at that map for hours,” he said.

Ryan folded the map carefully.

“We’ll reach Pyrros soon.”

“The island where criminals and traders work together?” Lorenzo asked.

Ryan nodded.

“We’ll need supplies before continuing toward the Bermuda region.”

Lorenzo leaned against the railing.

“You know… hearing that name still gives me chills.”

“The Bermuda Triangle?”

“Yeah.”

Ryan stared toward the dark horizon.

“My grandfather wrote something strange about it.”

Lorenzo looked curious.

“What?”

Ryan lowered his voice.

“He believed the Bermuda Triangle isn’t a place.”

Lorenzo frowned.

“Then what is it?”

“A gateway.”

Silence followed.

Before Lorenzo could respond, Naomi suddenly approached them carrying several books.

“You two seriously enjoy depressing conversations,” she said.

Lorenzo laughed.

“We’re discussing cursed oceans and hidden gateways. Pretty normal topics.”

Naomi rolled her eyes before turning toward Ryan.

“You know,” she said, “you’re always serious.”

Ryan looked confused.

“What does that mean?”

“You act like someone carrying the weight of the entire world.”

Lorenzo immediately grinned.

“She’s right.”

Ryan sighed.

“Maybe because someone on this ship actually has to think.”

Naomi smiled slightly.

“You should relax sometimes.”

Ryan remained silent for a moment before pulling his grandfather’s journal from his coat.

“Then read this,” he said calmly. “After that, tell me whether relaxing is still possible.”

Naomi opened the ancient journal carefully.

The pages contained symbols, star maps, sketches of destroyed cities, and strange creatures hidden beneath oceans.

Her expression slowly changed.

“This…” she whispered, “…where did your grandfather get all this information?”

“That’s exactly what I want to know.”

Naomi looked up at him.

“You truly believe all this is real?”

Ryan stared toward the sea.

“I believe my grandfather died searching for something the world was never supposed to find.”

The cold wind suddenly became stronger.

Far above them, dark clouds slowly covered the moon.

For a brief second, Naomi noticed something unusual in Ryan’s eyes.

Not fear.

Not excitement.

Obsession.

Later that night, most of the crew had already gone to sleep.

Only a few sailors remained awake while guarding the ship.

Ryan continued walking across the deck inspecting equipment and supplies.

Suddenly, he noticed Lorenzo and Naomi talking nearby.

Naomi looked amused while Lorenzo animatedly explained something with his hands.

“What are you two discussing?” Ryan asked.

Naomi smiled.

“I asked him whether he likes animals.”

Lorenzo laughed loudly.

“And now she regrets asking.”

Ryan crossed his arms.

“I’m afraid to ask why.”

Lorenzo grinned proudly.

“I told her about Saara and Kass.”

Naomi looked confused again.

“At first I thought they were dogs,” she admitted.

Ryan sighed.

“Please don’t tell me.”

“They were monkeys,” Lorenzo announced proudly. “South African monkeys.”

Naomi burst into laughter.

“You seriously had pet monkeys?”

“They were legends,” Lorenzo replied dramatically. “Especially Saara. That crazy monkey once attacked a farmer’s cow because it stole fruit from my bag.”

Even Ryan laughed quietly.

For the first time since the voyage began, the atmosphere felt lighter.

But the peaceful moment didn’t last long.

A loud voice suddenly echoed from above.

“UNKNOWN SHIP SPOTTED!”

Everyone froze instantly.

Several crew members rushed onto the deck.

Far across the dark ocean, another ship slowly emerged through the fog.

Its black sails flapped violently in the wind.

No visible flag.

No lights.

Only darkness.

One sailor whispered nervously:

“Pirates…”

The crew immediately prepared weapons.

Ryan narrowed his eyes toward the approaching vessel.

But something felt wrong.

The enemy ship wasn’t attacking.

It simply drifted silently across the sea.

Then suddenly—

The entire ship turned sharply and disappeared back into the fog.

Gone.

As if it had never existed.

Lorenzo looked disturbed.

“What was that?”

Ryan remained silent.

Even the ocean around them had become unnaturally quiet.

No waves.

No wind.

Nothing.

Then the compass in Ryan’s hand suddenly began spinning wildly on its own.

Naomi stepped backward slowly.

“That’s… impossible.”

Ryan stared into the darkness ahead.

Far away on the horizon…

lights began appearing through the mist.

An island.

Pyrros.

By sunrise, The Eclipse finally reached the island harbor.

Pyrros was unlike any place the crew had ever seen.

Massive wooden markets stretched across the coastline while hundreds of travelers moved through crowded streets. Ships from different nations filled the harbor. Some carried legal goods.

Others clearly did not.

The air smelled of salt, smoke, fuel, and spices.

Armed guards stood near trading stations while merchants loudly advertised rare items from across the world.

Ryan and a few crew members stepped onto the island while others stayed behind to guard the ship.

“We’ll restock supplies quickly,” Ryan ordered. “No unnecessary trouble.”

Lorenzo looked around excitedly.

“This place feels dangerous.”

“That’s because it is,” Naomi replied.

The crew purchased food, fuel, ropes, weapons, and medical equipment while moving carefully through the crowded streets.

But unknown to them…

someone was watching.

On the opposite side of the harbor stood another group of travelers wearing dark coats.

One of them held an old map nearly identical to Ryan’s.

A tall man with silver eyes stared directly toward The Eclipse.

“So…” he whispered quietly.

“They’re heading there too.”

Another man beside him looked nervous.

“You mean the Bermuda route?”

The silver-eyed man nodded slowly.

“The gateway is opening again.”

Back at the harbor, Ryan suddenly stopped walking.

Naomi noticed immediately.

“What happened?”

Ryan looked around carefully.

“…Nothing,” he replied.

But deep inside, he felt something strange.

As if unseen eyes were following him.

The crew soon returned to the ship before sunset.

As The Eclipse prepared to leave Pyrros Island, dark clouds slowly gathered above the sea once more.

The sailors looked nervous.

One old crew member whispered quietly:

“Beyond this point…”

“…the Bermuda waters begin.”

The atmosphere instantly changed.

Even the ocean looked darker ahead.

Ryan stood at the front of the ship while cold wind struck his face.

Far beyond the horizon waited the greatest mystery in human history.

The Bermuda Triangle.

And somewhere inside it…

the hidden City of Gods.

As night slowly covered the ocean, The Eclipse sailed directly toward the forbidden waters.

Unaware that another ship had already begun following them through the darkness.
