CH 1- THE ROYAL MEETING ( part 1)
The Rathore royal family announces the biggest royal charity gala Jaipur has seen in years.
After multiple failed luxury event companies, one unexpected company gets selected:
KAIS Events — run by two sisters from Delhi.
The Rathore Palace in Jaipur looked less like a home and more like a kingdom trapped between history and luxury.
White marble corridors stretched endlessly beneath crystal chandeliers. Ancient portraits watched silently from carved walls while palace staff moved around with disciplined elegance.
Kanakh
Okay…” she whispered to herself. “This is not a palace. This is a whole historical trauma.”
A passing maid covered her smile.
Kanakh
Kanakh awkwardly smiled back before continuing down the corridor, observing arches, balcony spacing, floral placements, lighting angles—everything needed for the royal charity gala KAIS had been hired to organize.
Kanakh
She slowly entered a quieter side of the palace, where sunlight filtered through jharokhas onto polished floors. A huge indoor courtyard opened ahead with fountains and white roses.
Kanakh
“Perfect for evening candles…” she murmured while scribbling notes.
A deep voice suddenly spoke behind her.
Kanakh
Kanakh jumped slightly and turned around.
unknown
A tall man stood there in a plain black kurta and white trousers, sleeves folded casually. His sharp jawline, broad shoulders, and calm eyes made him look unfairly attractive for someone standing so casually.
Ranveer
“You noticed the lighting issue in the west corridor too.”
Kanakh
“Oh thank God,” she sighed dramatically. “Finally, a normal human being in this museum.”
Ranveer
One of Ranveer’s eyebrows lifted slightly
Kanakh
“Yeah,” she said while walking closer. “Everyone here looks like they were born judging people.”
For the first time that morning, Ranveer almost smiled.
Kanakh continued talking naturally, completely unaware.
Kanakh
“You work here, right?”
Kanakh
“Good. Then help me.”
Ranveer
Ranveer folded his arms lazily. “That sounded less like a request.”
Kanakh
“You’re standing idle anyway,” she replied innocently.
Ranveer
" Interesting" in his mind
Most people either feared him or tried too hard to impress him.
This girl? She looked at him like he was just… a guy.
Kanakh
Kanakh handed him her notebook.
Ranveer
Ranveer looked down at the notebook in silence.
palace guard
A palace guard passing nearby nearly stopped breathing.
Kanakh walked ahead, still talking.
Kanakh
We need fairy lights here, floral runners there, maybe white mogras near the fountain—”
Kanakh
She suddenly turned around mid-sentence and bumped directly into him.
Kanakh
The notebook slipped.
Ranveer
Ranveer caught it instantly with one hand before it fell.
Kanakh
Why was he so tall?
For one awkward second, neither moved.
Ranveer
Then Ranveer spoke quietly.
Ranveer
You trust servants very easily.”
Saira
Kanakh stepped back quickly.
Saira
Well you don’t look dangerous.”
Ranveer
His eyes darkened slightly with amusement.
Ranveer
“That may be your first mistake.”
palace guard
Before she could reply, two guards suddenly approached and bowed their heads.
Kanakh
Kanakh’s soul left her body.
Kanakh
Her eyes widened.“You’re—”
“Ranveer Singh Rathore,” he finished calmly.
Her face turned completely red.
She had ordered around a prince.
Made him hold her notebook.
Called him idle.
Kanakh
“I am so sorry— I thought you were—”
Ranveer
“A servant?” he completed.
Kanakh wanted the marble floor to swallow her alive.
But instead of looking offended…
Ranveer looked entertained.
Actually entertained.
He stepped slightly closer.
Close enough for Kanakh’s heartbeat to betray her.
Ranveer
You know,” he said softly, “you’re the first person here who spoke to me without fear.”
Ranveer
His gaze held hers steadily.
“And I think I like it.”
Kanakh
Kanakh forgot how breathing worked.
Then suddenly—
“KUWAR SA!”
A royal advisor hurried toward them from the corridor.
Ranveer
Ranveer finally stepped back, eyes still lingering on Kanakh for a second too long.
“We’ll continue this later,” he said calmly
Kanakh
Leaving Kanakh standing there in complete shock.
Kanakh
“…What just happened?”
CH 1 - THE ROYAL MEETING ( part -2)
In the royal gardens outside the palace—
Saira stood with palace staff discussing floral structures and seating arrangements.
POV : SAIRA
Saira
No gold drapes,” she said firmly. “If everything shines, nothing stands out.”
The staff exchanged impressed looks.
Saira
She walked through the massive garden confidently, explaining designs while the evening Jaipur sunlight painted everything amber.
Then suddenly—
Cheers erupted nearby.
Saira turned instinctively.
And froze.
unknown
A white horse raced across the polo field with terrifying elegance.
unknown
On it sat a man dressed entirely in white riding trousers—
Rajveer
His posture was effortless. Dominant.
Rajveer
Sunlight highlighted his sharp features and toned frame while he controlled the horse like it obeyed his heartbeat.
Rajveer
Then he looked toward her.
Rajveer
Deep hazel eyes.
Directly at her.
For a second, the entire world felt oddly silent.
Saira
Saira’s thoughts: Okay… wow.🙄
Rajveer
On the field, Rajveer slowed his horse slightly, gaze still fixed on the unfamiliar girl in black.
Rajveer
Confident stance.
Bold eyes.
Rajveer
Beautiful.
A slow smirk appeared on his face.
Rajveer
Well well… another chick.😏
And neither looked away first.
