His name is Patrick Walker, the biggest Mafia boss in state. He didn't just kill people, he was known for making them beg for death. I still remember the way he would hold me during thunderstorms and say, "it's ok. I'm here."

My parents once tried to take me back, but I was old enough to understand their true goal. Funny how I fell for the same man whom I used to call big brother.

Well let's start the story of how to fall for the evil.

It was a Monday when I decided to bother Patrick. Honestly I was very excited to play a prank on him. So I did the old bucket on the door trick, snickering to myself as I called him,"Patty I ... I can't breathe....my lungs are burning."

"Where are you?", he asked concerned.

"My room...", I said pretending to gasp for air.

Three minutes later he rushed through the door only to be splashed with water. I laughed, "Gotcha!" His cold gaze landed on me. I felt a shiver go down my spine. "Well," he said, his voice dripping with danger,"I guess it's time."

"Time for what?" I asked stepped back a few steps.

"James, take Evan to the bathroom and get him washed up and ready for tonight."

James, Patrick's beta helper, grabbed my wrist and pulled me into the bathroom.

He cleaned me, ignoring my attempts to ask what was going on. He dressed me in clothes that felt totally uncomfortable. My chest couldn't be hidden under this translucent shirt and as if my lower half was any better, James had only given me underwear and said I should wear it. By the way, the underwear was not mine. I tried calming down, but I had no time to as James led me to the forbidden room.

I had named it 'the forbidden room' because I was never allowed inside. I did once try to actually go into the room, I was stopped and almost disowned. So forgive me if I feared this room.

James opened the door of the forbidden room and my breath genuinely hitched. The room was filled with flowers and my favorite teddy bears. A beautiful art piece hung on the wall and the room had soft calming lighting, "Why did you bring me here?" I walked around the room. It was like someone had excellent taste in designing this room.

"You will stay here until I say so." Patrick's authoritative voice came from the doorway. "Why?", I asked. He stepped into the room and walked forward till his large frame towered over me.

"Why," he repeated. "Because I said so."

"You are being totally unfair. It was just a prank."

"I will not-"

"I'm sorry if you felt offended by-"

"EVAN!"

I flinched. "I will not have you behave like- My decision is final so stay here and don't cause trouble."
