...The last waltz of a young child 🥀...
...----------------...
On a rainy night, a middle aged man drenched in rain seems to wander all night. Wearing a jacket, a pair of muddy boots. He stopped in front of a land filled with yellow flowers, the atmosphere was heavy, yet peaceful somehow.
A small cozy house, with subtle glow emitting from the windows "This seems to be my destination" the man whispered
The garden with yellow flowers and a house that welcomed guest at midnight "The silent garden"
The man walked towards the entrance of the garden with heavy footsteps, shivering in cold he knocked on the door of the house in front of him.
A man neatly dressed greets the guest, "Welcome, you had a long journey" he guided the man drenched in rain inside.
"Are you? Noel ?" The man asked with a glimpse of hope.
"Yes, Sir. I am Noel " Noel poured a hot cup of tea for the man, gently offering him the warmth in a stormy night.
"I heard a rumor in this town, a man with a violin that makes the souls alive" The man paused for a moment... And continued-
"It sounds like a superstition... Just a story made up for fun, but I... Hope it is true!" Tears formed in his eyes, and before Noel could react-
The man knelt in front of him, begging to make a request "Please summon my little boy... He died too young, leaving this old man behind" the sobbing continued silently.
Noel supported the man to make him sit on the chair he prepared for him "I cannot bring the dead back to life, sir" He said, placing the warm cup of tea in the man's hand.
"I can only summon them for a brief moment, the music manifest the soul to dance one last time" Noel explained, gently to the grieving man.
"Even for a minute... I wish to see my boy" the man trembled due to immense emotional pain. Noel smiled, fetching his violin-
The man took a sip of warm tea placed in his hand, it calmed his nerves instantly. Noel positioned his violin, playing a melody as gentle as him-
Soon, the soft glow from candle lights turned off. Yet, the room was still bright-
Brighter than the burning candlelights, the light glowed near the man's neck-
Forming a shape of a little child, hugging desperately on his father's back.
The man was stunned, witnessing the phenomenal miracle. Soon, he noticed the glow visibly familiar-
"Rian ... My baby boy" the man wept bitterly discovering his son's little hands wrapped desperately onto his shoulders.
Noel started playing a festive melody, the soul of the young child lightened up.
Moving along the rhythm, the yellow flower petals float in the air, formed and settled as a crown on the child's head. The heavy grief slowly turned into a joyous waltz, the child started dancing around-
The man stood up, following the soul of his little son. He couldn't pat his head nor could he hugged the little boy, but dancing along his little soul... Healed something quietly-
A brief moment lasted longer than expected, the boy and his father laughed along moving around the room, Soon it was time for the child to move forward on his journey again-
But this time, both the father and son greeted each other off with a sweet, yearning smile. With a silent promise "We will meet again later, alive"
And just like that, Noel's magical tune went quiet. Candle lights glowing softly, atmosphere back to it's original form. The thunderstorm cleared, leaving a cool quiet night ahead. The dead souls depart, while the living souls await.
