Sunday, 11:00 a.m.☀🌞
The weather was perfect.
The café was filled with couples enjoying their day.🥰
Warm coffee.
Soft smiles.😊
Comfortable conversations.
Taehyung wished he knew what that felt like.
Instead, he picked up another tablecloth and continued working.😥
Taehyung was taking orders when the café door suddenly opened.
“TAEHYUNG!!”
Tae didn’t even look up. “Why are you shouting this early?”
Jimin walked in with a bright smile. “Because you never hear me otherwise.”
Tae sighed. “You could just walk normally.”
Jimin gasped. “And ruin my entrance? Never.”
Tae finally turned around. “What are you doing here?”
“I came to save you from boredom.”
“I’m not bored.”
Jimin looked around the café. “You are literally working on a Sunday.”
“So?”
“So… you need help.”
Tae raised an eyebrow. “With what?”
“With living your life,” Jimin said proudly.
Tae shook his head. “I’m working a full shift today.”
Jimin immediately leaned on the counter. “Again?! This café is going to start dating you at this point.”
Tae rolled his eyes. “Very funny.”
Jimin grinned. “I know. I should be a comedian.”
Tae: “You already are—just not a good one.”
Jimin gasped dramatically. “Rude!”
“So,” Tae asked casually, “what’s today’s update?”
Jimin’s smile dropped instantly. “Nothing new.”
He sighed. “He went to the office again. I even asked him to hang out, but he’s always busy… or maybe just avoiding me.”
Tae already knew who he meant.
Jeon Jungkook.
Tae smirked a little. “Still stuck on him?”
Jimin’s cheeks turned pink. “I’m not stuck! I’m in love.”
Tae: “Same thing.”
Jimin: “No it’s not!”
Tae leaned closer. “So when are you confessing?”
Jimin panicked. “Soon! And you better come to my wedding!”
Tae blinked. “Wedding already?”
Jimin nodded proudly. “Me and Jungkook. Obviously.”
Tae shook his head, smiling. “Confident, huh?”
Jimin: “Of course!”
Tae nudged him. “Then hurry up and confess, future groom.”
Jimin groaned. “Stop making me nervous!”
Tae chuckled. “Too late for that.”
Jimin laughed softly.
“But hurry up and confess already,” Tae said dramatically. “I still haven’t even seen his photo. Mr. Secretive here refuses to show me until after the confession.”
“Fine, fine,” Jimin chuckled.
Then he added, “Tonight our families are having dinner at Jungkook’s house… so maybe I shouuuld—”
“Don’t think,” Tae cut him off immediately. “Just tell him. And look good while doing it.”
Jimin grinned brightly. “Okay, my bear.”
With that, he finally left the café.
Taehyung went back to work.
Time passed slowly…
Until his eyes fell on something near the counter.
A bracelet.
Jimin’s bracelet.
Tae picked it up carefully and turned it in his hand.
A small smile formed on his face.
“I’ll call him later and tell him he forgot it…”
He slipped it into his pocket and went back to work.
How was the first chapter? 💜

So get ready for an emotional roller coaster 💫
"As the evening sky turned orange and blue, Taehyung stayed busy at the café while a lively gathering was taking place on the other side of the city."
Mr. and Mrs. Park arrived at Jeon Mansion with Jimin for dinner.
Mr. and Mrs. Park arrived at Jeon Mansion with Jimin for dinner.
Jimin was unusually excited tonight. A small gift for Jungkook was safely hidden in his bag, which he had protected all the way.
The Park and Jeon families were close friends for years, so Jeon Mansion always felt like home. But for Jimin, every visit still felt special.

As soon as the door opened, Jin welcomed them with her warm smile.
"Hello, Mrs. Park! How have you been?" she said, hugging her warmly.
Mrs. Park smiled. "We've been good. It's been too long."
Jimin puffed his cheeks. "Aunty, I'm here too!"
Jin laughed. "How can I forget my favorite boy?"
She pulled him into a hug, making him smile. "Come inside. I made all your favorite dishes."
"Really? Thank you, aunty!" Jimin’s eyes lit up.
Jin gently pinched his cheek. "You’re no less than Jungkook to me."
At Jungkook’s name, Jimin looked around. "Where is he?"
Jin smiled. "Go upstairs and meet him."
As soon as Jin finished speaking, Jimin rushed upstairs like an excited child.
He and Jungkook had known each other for so long that formalities never existed between them.
Without knocking, Jimin entered Jungkook’s room.
Jungkook was standing in front of the mirror, fixing his hair casually.
Jimin froze for a second. No matter how many times he saw him, Jungkook always looked unreal.
Sharp jawline, black fitted shirt, toned body, and tattoos on one arm—he looked effortlessly perfect.
Dangerously perfect.
Before he could even react, Jimin suddenly jumped on his back, almost making him lose balance.
"You idiot!" Jimin complained dramatically. "Why didn’t you come downstairs to greet me?"
Jungkook rolled his eyes, steadying himself. "What are you, a prince? Why would I come just to welcome you?"
"Wow, so rude," Jimin gasped in fake offense.
"And yet you still came," Jungkook smirked.
They kept bickering like always—comfortable, natural… like home.
"You two! Dinner is ready!" Jin’s voice echoed from downstairs.
They paused, looked at each other, and suddenly burst into laughter.
After teasing each other a little more, they finally went downstairs together.
In the living room, Mr. Park and Namjoon were deep in conversation, while Mrs. Park helped Jin in the kitchen.
As Jimin and Jungkook came down, Jin placed the last dishes on the table with a warm smile.
"Perfect timing," she said.
Everyone took their seats, and Jimin’s eyes lit up seeing all his favorite dishes spread across the table.
"Aunty… you really made all of this for me?" Jimin asked dramatically.
Jin laughed softly. "Of course."
Jimin quickly sat down, looking genuinely touched.
Just then, Jungkook narrowed his eyes. "Mom, where’s my favorite dish?"
Before Jin could reply, Jimin interrupted, pointing his chopsticks at him. "There isn’t one for you. Just eat whatever is made."
Jungkook scoffed. "Wow… the disrespect in my own house."
"Deserved," Jimin said instantly.
Soon, the dining table was filled with laughter, teasing, and casual conversations. Namjoon and Mr. Park talked about work, while Jin and Mrs. Park chatted beside them. For a while, everything felt warm and peaceful.
After dinner, Jimin and Jungkook went back to Jungkook’s room and started playing video games.
On the other side of the city, Taehyung’s café shift was almost over. As he cleaned the counter absentmindedly, something suddenly crossed his mind.
Jimin’s bracelet…
Taehyung quickly picked up his phone, planning to call so Jimin could collect it tomorrow.
Meanwhile, in Jungkook’s room, he stretched lazily on the bed.
"It’s getting late," he muttered. "Why hasn’t Mom brought my banana milk yet?"
Jimin looked at him like he couldn’t believe it. "You really can’t survive without banana milk, huh?"
Jungkook shrugged. "Nope."
Jimin sighed. "Fine. I’ll bring it."
He knew better than anyone how obsessed Jungkook was with it.
As soon as Jimin left the room, his phone—left beside Jungkook—started ringing.
At first, Jungkook ignored it. But when it kept ringing again and again, he finally picked it up.
The contact name made him pause.
Bear.🥰
He frowned slightly and answered.
"Jimin?"
The deep voice from the other side made Jungkook freeze.
For a moment, everything inside him stopped. His heartbeat… off rhythm.
"You forgot your bracelet here," Taehyung said softly. "Come and collect it tomorrow, okay."
Jungkook opened his mouth to respond… but no words came out.
Something felt stuck in his throat. His mind went blank. He didn’t understand why that voice was affecting him like this.
Before he could react, Jimin came back inside with banana milk.
The phone slipped from Jungkook’s hand as Jimin took it.
Jimin glanced at the screen. "Tae?" he murmured.
But the call had already ended.
He looked at Jungkook. "What happened? What did he say?"
Jungkook stayed silent for a moment. That strange feeling still lingered in his chest.
"I… don’t know," he said quietly.
So finally, Taehyung has entered Jungkook's life... but maybe neither of them realizes yet how much everything is about to change.🙃
What will happen next?
Will this strange feeling disappear... or become something much deeper?

The evening shift at the café was almost over…
but Tae’s mind was still far away.
Even as the day slowly came to an end,
he wasn’t ready to go home.
“Home…”
That word… never felt like comfort to him.
He sat there in silence, lost in his own thoughts,
wondering if he should even go back tonight.
At least here… there was peace.
No shouting. No fights.
No broken voices echoing through the walls.
But at home… it was always the same.
His parents arguing endlessly.
The heavy tension in the air.
The never-ending struggle over money.
And yet… he knew one truth he couldn’t escape—
After thinking for a long time…
Tae finally picked up his things and headed home.
He told himself maybe… just maybe…
his parents would already be asleep.
When he reached his house, everything was silent.
For a brief moment… relief washed over him.
Silence was rare in his world.
He stepped inside quietly and went straight to his room,
finally allowing himself to rest.
And soon… he fell asleep.
It was Monday morning.
Tae woke up early for university,
dragging himself downstairs with a tired heart…
already dreading what awaited him.
And just like every other morning…
His parents were arguing again.
Shouting filled the house before the day had even begun.
Tae had never known a peaceful morning at home.
It always started the same way—
anger… frustration…
The only time silence ever existed in that house…
was when Hobi was around.
Tae’s older brother.
A man who barely worked…
who spent most of his time drinking,
coming home drunk, shouting, and using harsh, abusive words.
Because of him, the entire responsibility of the house
had slowly fallen onto Tae’s shoulders.
There was no hope left in Tae for his elder brother anymore—
only resentment.
Everyone in the house was scared of him.
Afraid he would start another fight…
throw things…
or make everything worse again.
So whenever he was around, the house didn’t feel peaceful.
It felt quiet… but tense.
Everyone careful with their words,
moving like they were walking on glass.
That kind of silence wasn’t peace.
It was fear pretending to be calm.
Tae stood there for a moment… then asked quietly,
“Where is Hobi?”
His mother answered softly that Hobi had left early in the morning
with his friends… to drink again.
Tae let out a long sigh.
Without saying anything, he picked up his bag and headed out for university.
Behind him, his mother called out—
telling him to at least have breakfast…
But Tae didn’t stop.
He just kept walking.
He didn’t have the energy anymore.
In the university, half of Tae’s classes were already over.
He sat near the window, quietly staring outside.
The world beyond the glass looked peaceful… almost unreal.
Students walking, laughing, living their lives so easily.
So different from his own.
But Tae’s mind wasn’t there.
It was far away… tangled in thoughts he couldn’t escape.

It was far away… tangled in thoughts he couldn’t escape.
He wanted to become a sketch artist.
That was his dream.
Something that once made his heart feel light… alive.
But every time he thought about it, reality pulled him back down like a heavy chain.
The course fees were too expensive.
Far beyond what he could afford.
So he kept it inside him…
like a dream that was never allowed to grow.
Once, he had tried something else too.
Guitar.
It was cheaper, easier… and for a short time, it felt like maybe—just maybe—he could do something for himself.
He used to sit quietly and practice, losing himself in the sound.
But even that didn’t last.
At home, the words started coming.
“You’ll do what with this?”
“Just playing that useless instrument won’t feed you.”
“You’re wasting your time.”
Each sentence chipped away at him.
Slowly… until he stopped.
Like everything else he had ever hoped for.
His phone suddenly vibrated
Jimin.
A small spark of warmth appeared on Tae’s face as he answered.
“Hi, bear. How are you?” Jimin’s voice was bright, comforting.
Tae leaned back in his chair slightly.
“Forget me. You tell me… what’s the update?”
For a moment… silence.
Tae’s smile faded a little.
“…What’s wrong?” he asked more seriously now.
“Don’t say later. Just tell me.”
Jimin sighed softly.
“I’ll tell you everything when we meet properly.”
Then, trying to sound normal, he added—
“By the way… didn’t you call me yesterday?”
Tae nodded even though Jimin couldn’t see him.
“Yeah. I told you… your bracelet is with me. Are you coming today?”
There was a pause.
Long enough to make Tae uneasy.
“No, Tae,” Jimin finally said.
“I’m going out of the country for a week because of work.”
Tae blinked slowly.
A small silence settled between them.
“But don’t worry,” Jimin quickly added.
“I’ll send someone to pick it up. They’ll collect it from you.”
Tae exhaled softly.
“Okay… bye-bye. Take care, my bear. I have some work to do.”
The call ended suddenly.
Tae opened his mouth slightly, as if to say something more…
But the line was already dead.
He stared at the phone for a moment.
“…At least you could’ve told me who you’re sending,” he muttered quietly.
A tired sigh escaped him as he slipped the phone back into his pocket.
Before he could sink further into thoughts…
The professor entered the classroom.
The atmosphere shifted instantly.
Chairs creaked. Pages turned. Conversations died down.
Silence spread across the room.
The lecture had begun.
And just like that…
Tae was pulled back into reality once again.
So... what do you think will happen next?
Whatever it is... we'll find out soon enough.
