Hi, everyone!
First of all, thank you so much for giving my story a chance. It means a lot to me that you decided to click on this book and spend some of your time reading it. Before you begin, I wanted to share a few words about myself and this story.
This is the first story that I have ever decided to write and share with others. To be honest, I'm both excited and nervous. Writing a story is one thing, but sharing it with readers is completely different. Even though I'm a beginner, I wanted to take the chance and bring my imagination to life through words.
The idea for this story first came to me back in 2020. At that time, it was nothing more than a few random thoughts and scenes that would appear in my mind. Whenever I had free time, I would imagine different characters, conversations, and moments. Slowly, those little ideas began to connect and form a story. Even though I thought about it for years, I never had the confidence to actually write it down and share it.
For a long time, this story remained inside my imagination. The characters grew, the plot developed, and I kept adding new ideas in my head. Eventually, I realized that if I kept waiting for the perfect moment, I might never start. So, I decided to stop waiting and finally write the story that had been living in my mind for so long.
Everything in this book is fictional and created from my imagination. The characters, events, and situations are not meant to represent real people or real experiences. This is simply a story that I wanted to create and share with readers who enjoy romance, emotions, friendships, and character growth.
Since this is my first story, there may be mistakes here and there. There may be moments when my writing isn't perfect, and there will definitely be things that I can improve in the future. However, I promise that I will do my best to make every chapter enjoyable and meaningful. Writing is a learning journey, and I'm excited to grow as a writer while sharing this story with all of you.
My biggest hope is that this story can make you feel something. Whether it's happiness, excitement, curiosity, sadness, or simply the comfort of escaping into another world for a little while, I hope the characters and their journey leave a small impact on your heart.
I also want to thank everyone who supports this story by reading, voting, commenting, or simply following along. Every bit of support motivates me to continue writing and improving. Knowing that someone is reading my work makes all the effort worth it.
Thank you once again for giving my story a chance. I truly hope you enjoy reading Between Two Hearts and that you'll stay with me as the story unfolds chapter by chapter.
Happy reading!
With love,

The city was nothing like I had imagined.
Standing in front of the small apartment building with my suitcase beside me, I stared at the tall buildings surrounding me. Cars moved endlessly through the streets, people hurried past each other, and unfamiliar sounds filled the air.
Everything felt so different.
Back in my village, life was quiet. The mornings were peaceful, and everyone knew each other. Here, it felt as if nobody had time to stop and look around.
I tightened my grip on the handle of my suitcase.
So this is Rosehaven.
A small smile appeared on my face.
I had dreamed of coming here for years.
After taking a deep breath, I entered the building and climbed the stairs to the small room I had rented.
The room wasn't impressive.
There was a single bed pushed against the wall, a small desk near the window, a bookshelf, and a tiny kitchen area.
It was simple.
Very simple.
But to me, it was perfect.
Because it was mine.
I placed my suitcase on the floor and looked around the room for a moment before sitting on the edge of the bed.
For a few seconds, silence filled the room.
Then reality finally sank in.
I was really here.
Far away from home.
Far away from my mother.
Far away from everything familiar.
Dad... I made it.
A painful ache settled in my chest.
My father passed away years ago after battling an illness for a long time.
Even now, there were moments when I still expected him to walk through the front door with a smile on his face.
There were moments when I wanted to tell him about my achievements.
Moments when I wanted to hear him say he was proud of me.
But life didn't always work the way we wanted.
After he passed away, my mother became my entire world.
She worked harder than anyone I knew.
No matter how tired she was, she never complained.
Instead, she always smiled and encouraged me to keep studying.
I slowly opened my suitcase and began unpacking my belongings.
There wasn't much.
A few clothes.
Some books.
School supplies.
And the scholarship letter that had changed my life.
Carefully, I picked up the letter and stared at it.
Without this scholarship, I wouldn't have been able to attend Bellrose Academy.
There was no way my mother could have afforded the tuition fees on her own.
The scholarship was the reason I was standing here today.
It was the reason all those late nights studying had been worth it.
A small laugh escaped my lips.
"I actually did it."
The words sounded strange.
Almost unreal.
I placed the letter inside the desk drawer before continuing to unpack.
Unlike many students who came from wealthy families, I couldn't rely on money from home.
My scholarship covered most of my education expenses, but not everything.
Rent.Food.Transportation.
Those expenses were my responsibility.
Which meant I would need a part-time job.
The thought was stressful.
But I had already expected it.
Nothing in my life has ever come easily.
And honestly?
I wouldn't have it any other way.
I've come this far.
I can handle this too.
After finishing my unpacking, I walked toward the window and pulled the curtains aside.
The city stretched endlessly beneath the evening sky.
Golden sunlight reflected off the buildings while people continued moving through the busy streets below.
Tomorrow would be my first day at Bellrose Academy.
The thought made my stomach twist nervously.
What if I couldn't fit in?
What if everyone was smarter than me?
Richer than me?
Better than me?
I shook my head immediately.
"No."
I wasn't going to start doubting myself now.
I hadn't spent years studying and working hard just to give up before I even began.
My mother believed in me.
My teachers believed in me.
And for once, I wanted to believe in myself too.
Tomorrow will mark the beginning of a new chapter in my life.
A chapter filled with challenges, opportunities, friendships...
And perhaps something I never expected to find.
Love.
At that moment, however, I had no idea that my life was about to become far more complicated than I could ever imagine.
