It was a very bad morning for Yumi, because she woke up late again. She rushed to her high school holding her bag and a banana stuffed inside her mouth.
The guards looked at her witha smile on their face, because honestly, at this moment, it was nothing new for them.
They have watched Yumi being late to her class dozens of time. One more time cause nothing.

The pendant glowed again, and this time too, Yumi didn't noticed it. Instead she went inside her bathroom
Humming a beat, she stripped herself from her clothes.
She took her body wash and start cleaning herself.

Yumi took the pendant on her palm. The star was glowing before, but as she touched the star, it stopped. She was perplexed by it. But didn't care enough to be so much bothered by it. She simply shrugged and then, kept it back at the shelf.

Time to sleep Yumi, or you will be again later for the school tomorrow.
And so she did. She drifted to her dreamland. Not realising that her one touch to the star has caused something, somewhere.
Somewhere in the woods. The same woods where the existence of humans are banned because of someone noticing something different, something inhuman. And because that, everyone who entered it, never came back.
There was someone, who was wearing a pendant same like Yumi's. But instead of the crescent moon and the star, it was the moon which lack the crescent and the star.
It was something that would fit well with the Yumi's.
