The cold autumn wind blew across the busy streets of Seoul as Choi Yuri stepped out of another company building.
In her hand was a neatly organized file containing her resume and certificates. Her shoulders slumped as she stared at the email on her phone.
📲"We regret to inform you that your application has not been selected."
It was the tenth rejection this month.
Yuri lowered her head, forcing herself not to cry in public.
Choi Yuri
"Again..."
(disappointed)

(She laughed bitterly.)

"Maybe I'm really not good enough."
(sadly)
The people around her walked past without noticing the pain hidden behind her smile.
After standing there for several minutes, Yuri slowly walked home.
Inside their small apartment, the delicious smell of dinner filled the room.

Tears filled Yuri's eyes once more.

"One day, all your hard work will pay off."
(lovingly)

The apartment fell silent.
For the first time that day, Yuri felt warmth in her heart.

(She hugged her mother tightly.)

"Now stop crying and help me set the table."
(laughing softly)
