The library was unusually quiet that evening.. Only the faint rustling of pages and the distant ticking of a wall clock filled the air. He stood between the towering shelves, arms full of books he had finished organizing...Sunlight filtered through the tall windows, painting golden patterns across the wooden floor. One by one, he carefully slid the books back into their proper places. he murmured a song under his breath. Just as he reached for the last shelf—

*Thump*......

But strangely, it hadn't hurt. At all. In fact, it felt less like a book hitting him and more like someone had gently brushed a feather against his hair. Confused, he looked down.

"A thick old book rested at his feet."

"Satisfied, he turned around."

...*Thump*... The same book landed behind him.

The book stared back. Well... not literally. ............ But it felt suspicious.

The book remained still. Taehyung waited. Five seconds. Ten seconds. Nothing happened.

And just as the library doors closed behind Taehyung... One page inside the book slowly turned by itself. As though something hidden within had finally found the person it had been searching for.. 📖
