Guides and Espers. Two entities bound together for a certain time , both beneficial to each other. The Rules Contain there shouldn't be any personal feelings mixed once you're paired up. If you do , the guide or Esper uncomfortable, can file a report.

Unfortunately, there is hierarchy in this world too. The guides and espers are ranked based on their skills. Most of them are born with those but some gains , which makes their ranks go up higher.

But the most precious ones are 'S-class Espers and Guides'

Often treated as the treasure of country because of their extraordinary abilities and strength.

Espers need a thing called guiding, which can come in any form. But the most preferable way of guiding is 'contact guiding'. Guides have a power to calm or heal the Espers. On the other hand , Espers are protectors of the nation.

The world is controlled by these two. The only problem is that there a few S class Guides in this world. Hence , they are treated as something precious— The same goes for Espers.

Mostly , Enigmas are born with S class genes. The birth rates of Enigmas are decreasing day by day. The world is in crucial situation as the 'Enigma' bloodline is vanishing.

This is happening because not all individuals can carry the heavy genetics of an Enigma. The one can , survives.

'Enigma' , a rank higher than Alphas— Posses ultimate power , the strength , capacity , intellectual intelligence and their pheromones could make anyone knock out in seconds. The powerful entities are mostly responsible to fight the dangerous monsters. That's why , Enigmas are mostly ranked in S-class.

So How is this world exactly is?

GUIDEVERSE

A dark blonde haired boy coming out from a huge building , wearing a suit. His expressions were stern , yet they were disturbed. He puts on his glasses which hides the shine of his eyes , as if he's doing that on purpose. As he move forward , he slowly dissolves in the massive crowd standing , and waiting for the arrival of the first S- ranked Esper to exist.

A massive golden door opened from the opalite sky. The people started cheering already , the voices growing louder. Rael's eyes turned towards the door , sunlight falling on his glasses and reflecting back upwards and slowly a man , with dark black hair , as if they came straight from a raven , came out. He was floating in the sky , not a single drop of blood on his attire , which was of an Esper. A black coloured fitted shirt with a black coat floating around him , with blood red lining covering almost half of his coat, he looked deadly yet impressive.

The Esper's eyes landed on the Guide , Rael. Even though there's the distance of miles , his eyes are still sharp. One of his skills. His face turned into a smirk while looking at the little guide with glasses , the golden door was slowly closing behind , making a heavenly sound.

The Esper floated till he reached the ground , his sword clicking behind him. And once he reached the ground..

"WELCOME BACK , CROWN PRINCE."

Said the public as they bowed down , except one person.

Rael's eyes sharpened while looking at the Esper in front of him , who is the Crown Prince of their nation. The man who he despises the most. Draven Ravynor , his mortal enemy.

Soon Rael turned around and started moving forward , the crowd approaching the crown prince , to congratulate his victory for stopping the insane monster before they enter in their world. Yet somehow in that whole crowd , Draven's red eyes were only on one person , who was walking away from him.

Rael's mind started playing flashbacks , which he didn't want to see. But what can he even do? Even gods cannot turn their heads from reality , so how can he?

He said , cursing himself in a low voice.

---FLASHBACK---

Two individuals in heat. Skin slapping against skin. Breaths shaken up. Bed Creaking. The situation was steamy , yet both weren't in their right minds. The one on the bottom clenched the bedsheet , noises weren't stopping to come out from his mouth. His eyes were dazed , body sweating and hair a complete mess. Was it something that he willingy did? His wristwatch showing the number 90. But what did it mean?

Slowly the man on the top leaned down , his breath touched Rael's neck as he gently called out his name. Draven's veins were popping , as he slowed down his pace , almost as if he's coming in his senses. Yet his red eyes didn't lose their dominance. He bit on Rael's neck , a loud sound escaped from Rael's mouth but he turned it into a curse.

Rael cried in pain. Draven's words ringing in his ear , he tried to move away , but the strong arms wouldn't let him. His mind thinking how did he end up in such situation. His heat was clearly two days later this incident. Was it the Enigma's scent that triggered his heat? But whatever it was , his body was giving in.

Rael's veins were changing colour , as if his phermones are mixing with the one who has marked him. His eyes were slowly getting blurry.

His voice was low.

Rael's eyes turned into a glare for a brief moment before he fell into deep sleep.

A Few hours later , Rael was sitting with a guy , almost of his same age. They both were drinking coffee while gossiping on 'that' topic.

Rael clenched his eyes , his hand on his forehead as if he's trying to refresh his memory. Faded moments of them in bed played in his mind , which only angered him more. But suddenly a memory reappeard.

Rael touched the back of his neck , feeling the traces of a bite there. It was deep , as if someone sank their teeth inside. His eyes widened with the thought. That was a permanent mark. A claim of authority.

Rael took a deep breath.

On their way back , Zyren and Rael were discussing about the mark , an Enigma's mark , especially. Digs in deeper in an omega's neck than Alphas. Rael's pheromones have started to exchange with Draven's and if it becomes noticable , people will question him and it might risk his status as a guide too. To the world Rael is an B-class guide , but the reality is something different.

Then suddenly someone came running and jumped on Rael making him stumble a little.

Rael shook his head and chuckled in a low voice. Zyren was a temporary professor from Emris's highschool , but certainly, the most respected one. People admired him for being an Esper and a Professor too. Handling two tasks at one time , was kind of hard for others. Espers would get so tired of their job that they didn't had much time for doing anything else.

Emris went near Zyren and tiptoed till he reaches his ear.

Soon after dropping Emris off, Rael went to his headquarters, The headquarters of all classes of guides. He was wearing a mask and his glasses with a golden frame. It suited his face perfectly, and there were Initials engraved in both side of glasses which were R.F.

Rael looked a bit tense as if he's having a debate with his body, his body was a bit warm, maybe the effect of spending a night with an Enigma.

Rael asked the receptionist, He've received a text on his smartwatch that he has been paired up with an Esper.

Rael walked towards the office hurriedly, It's not because that he doesn't want to guide a single Esper. But guiding only a single one means revealing his true identity. Sooner or later, The Esper will find out, and that will be a threat to his survival.

Rael knocked on the door before hearing a quiet 'Come in'.

He was a bit mad, but showing his anger wouldn't lead to good conclusions now.

Rael paused. His tone seemed a bit suspicious, it's utterly calm as if he already know the truth, but it can't be. No one knows what Rael is except him. Rael kept calm. His teeth gritted under his mask. Yet he needs to find a way to get out of this situation.

Aiden Rienford. The head of all the guides. He's an S-class guide, but he didn't got this post for only being an S-class guide. He has build his respect among everyone since years and no one has taken his post till now. Though Aiden seems a bit like a psychopath, a smiling devil, yet his personality is calm. The actual devil is his son.

Ivan Rienford.

His son is calm, yet people always die by his hands. He has had a lot of controversies on him but since he's the son of the top class guide no one actually utters a word before him.

After being played by his worst enemy, Draven Ravynor. Rael don't want to keep a psychopath beside him and even be his personal guide.

everything went quiet for a few seconds.

83% is a lot for guides. For guiding the percentage above 60% is considered very strong.. and if Rael's match percentage with Ivan is 83 then..

SLAM

The door opened without a knock. Rael looked back and saw the person he didn't wanted to see in the current situation. The one with blonde hair and sharp bluish green eyes. He had a lollipop stick in his mouth which he bit slightly when he saw Rael. He frowned.

Rael looked at Aiden with a look "Don't you also not have any shame?". While Ivan walked away. It's going to be hard for him to handle someone like him. Meanwhile on the other side in Esper's headquarters, things were different.

Nicholas was the Close friend of Draven and certainly he knows something that hasn't reached Draven's ears yet. Nicholas was the prince of southern territory and currently in the team of Draven.
