THE GIRL WHO CAN SEE THE AYAKASHI
"Do you believe in demon like Ayakashi and Yokai?"
"They said that it wasn't true so, tell me what did I see when I was six near the lake..."
A girl named Ayase Sakasi can see Ayakashi since she's six.
And, the first time she saw one was near at the lake of her grandpa's mansion in Hiroshima.
That was the place she's born but live in Tokyo after her parents know about it.
Now... she's sixteen and went to high school with the necklace his parents gave.
That necklace had talisman, it was to protect her from those Yokai and Ayakashi.
She had a friend named Shiwatsu. She's her friend since they move to Tokyo.
Shiwatsu knows that Ayase can saw super natural being.
Shiwatsu
Hey, Ayase can't we just eat already? You've been writing novels in a whole hour.
Shiwatsu groans in frustration. She leaned her chin on the table and grabbed Ayase's book from her hands and looked at it.
Shiwatsu
What are you writing? A new novel?
Ayase was startled by Shiwatsu's action and try to grabbed back her book away from Shiwatsu's hand.
Ayase Sakasi
Will... yeah, I've written a new novel. Why? Are you interested to read it?
Ayase Sakasi
*Ask as she lean the back of her head on the chair*
Shiwatsu
Nah... I'm hungry. Besides, you always write about romance.
Shiwatsu
*Throw back the book on Ayase and look at the window.*
Ayase Sakasi
I'm not writing about romance.
Ayase Sakasi
*Hold the book*
Shiwatsu
*Looked at Ayase with interest*Really? What are you writing now?
Ayase Sakasi
I'm writing about Ayakashi... *grabbed the bag*
Shiwatsu
You wrote about Ayakashi? Then write the Ayakashi you saw ten years ago...
Ayase Sakasi
*eyes suddenly darkened* I'm not interested now on writing about that non-existent.
Ayase leave Shiwatsu in the classroom. Her step was heavy like after mentioned the past made her not interested on writing it.
Like how can Shiwatsu just brought her past?
Shiwatsu sighed felt guilty form what she just said. She knows what trauma that Ayakashi brought to her but, she just mentioned it without thinking.
She followed her to the rooftop and try to talk to her.
Shiwatsu
Hey, I'm sorry, okay? I shouldn't have mentioned that.
Shiwatsu
I didn't meant to hurt your feelings.
Ayase Sakasi
*Looked at Shiwatsu with serious eyes*
Ayase Sakasi
I have dark brown eyes and black silky hair.
Ayase Sakasi
That's how other people see me but, I'm not normal. Because, I can see Ayakashi I'm not like you or others!
Ayase Sakasi
I'm writing novels about Ayakashi because, I expect that on writing my knowledge about them would leave this trauma.
Ayase Sakasi
If I hadn't just meet that demon nine-tailed fox I wouldn't get curse!
Shiwatsu
*Hugged Ayase tightly* I'm sorry, I'll try not to mention them... you're a normal person like others.
"How can someone like me got cursed by that demon..."
"No one have any idea how I despise Ayakashi... Because of that fox, I can't have a normal sleep..."
"Because of that fox I start spacing away with other kids when I was six..."
"Glad that Shiwatsu was there and understand me..."
"But, I would never forgive him!"

Ayase was doing her homework.
The night breeze was making her shiver.
This cold wind happened randomly since she's in Tokyo.
But, it didn't matter now to her. She's not afraid in ghost because, seeing Ayakashi was more worst than a ghost.
Even though she's in Tokyo with no mountain like in Hiroshima there was still few Ayakashi bothering her.
Also, people surrounding her was Luke Ayakashi to her too.
The way their eyes saw her is despising.
They don't believe in her that she can saw those monster tugging them like they want to eat their sould.
So, those people laugh at her and thought that she was a psycho.
Ayase Sakasi
[It's better to stay away from those people.]
Ayase Sakasi
[Because, it was annoying.]
Ayase Sakasi
[The worst is, this Yokai in my room doesn't want to leave!]
The tip of the pin just broke with her grip.
It was annoyance because, there was a Yokai annoying her.
Like, flicking its tongue and playing peak a boo!
Annoying Yokai
Hey, hey!!!
Ayase Sakasi
Stop bothering me! 💢
Annoying Yokai
Heh? But, you're so fun to annoy! *dark grin*
When she's asleep and having the worst nightmare that ever happens in her life.
Ayase Sakasi
*Struggling on something from her dream*
Ayase Sakasi
Please... Don't, stay away from me...
At the dark... A dark flame was lighting the surroundings with fog.
It was like devouring her heart and chaining her to eternity.
That was her worst nightmare.
Ayase Sakasi
No... I don't want to...
Ayase Sakasi
Please let me go. *struggling*
Nightmare
Let me take your heart...
She screamed on her dream.
As she opened her eyes, she was back to her room.
She sat up and took a deep breath.
Ayase Sakasi
*clinched her chest* That dream again...
Ayase Sakasi
Is the talismans not working?
She stood up and went downstairs at the kitchen.
Her mother was cooking her a breakfast.
Ayase's mother
*noticed her face* Ayase, did you have a nightmare again?
Ayase Sakasi
*look away* Yes, mom...
Ayase's mother
*Gave her some water* Don't worry, I'm sure your grandpa will know how to remove that nightmares.
Ayase's mother
Finished your breakfast and get ready for school.
Suddenly the Yokai that keep her annoying just pop out on her side.
It was like a balloon floating around her. But, only she can saw it.
Annoying Yokai
Hehe~ nightmare again?
Annoying Yokai
Looks like that Ayakashi enjoying how you struggle to wake up.
Ayase Sakasi
*Shove the Yokai away* Get lost! 💢
Her mom noticed her. Know that Ayase was talking in a Yokai that she can't see.
Ayase's mother
Ayase, is it the Yokai again?

*Groans* I hope I can't see them! 💢
