Chapter 2: The Meal
My name is Ryansuke Yubata.
Hima and I live together in a tiny thatched hut in Miyagi Prefecture, but it is incredibly warm and cozy!
Every time I return home and catch sight of his small figure, my heart somehow feels… lighter.
It’s as if Hima is someone God specially sent to me — a guardian angel straight out of those biblical stories!

The fragrant aroma wafted straight into my nose.
Just smelling it made my stomach growl again.
The bonito flakes and strips of seaweed were neatly arranged on the tray.
