Morning rose in the Kim’s household and Kim taehyung— the youngest son still laid on the bed, Body covered up in whole with the blanket.
Mrs Kim walked into Taehyung’s room, she took one glance at taehyung who was still asleep on the bed then went towards the window, opening the curtains and letting the morning sun spill into tae’s room. Taehyung groaned from the interference of the sun, his eyelashes fluttered due to the sudden light, then he let out a low sentence.

Eyes still closed, muttering a low sentence as he buried his face more into the blanket
“Now who is this sleep killer??”
Mrs Kim
Mrs Kim didn’t even bother looking at him, she just walked into the closet, helping tae bring out his uniform and settled it on his study table.
“The usual sleep killer” muttered as she started walking near the bed.

She suddenly stopped at the door, looking back at taehyung who is still on the bed. Then in a low, commanding voice, she said
“Get up, holiday is over. It your first day of your last year in high school”
Taehyung didn’t quite get what she said immediately, he had to mutter it a few times before he fully got it.

Still sleeping, repeating what his mum said slowly
“First day of school ummm holiday is over—”
Then something clicked, taehyung sat upright on the bed, taking in everything in his room, his uniform on the table, and the calendar.

Quickly got out of bed as he rushed into the the bathroom after checking time
“Shit mum why didn’t you wake me up earlier or set the alarm yesterday?””
Grabbed a towel on the way to the bathroom.

Mrs Kim sighed as she watched taehyung run off to the bathroom
“Setting the alarm is practically useless, you don’t hear them and I did wake you up before, you shooed me away and told me to come back an hour later”
Mrs Kim
She paused for a while then slowly added.
“Jungkook already left for school already, be quick so you don’t get late and your uniform is already ironed”
Walked out of the room and shut the door behind her.

Shouted from the bathroom
“Okay mum.”

Few minutes later, taehyung walked out of his room, properly dressed.
He walked down to find his parents already having breakfast.

Dressed in his uniform, he walked down the stairs while still brushing his wet hair with his comb
“Good morning dad, good morning mum”

Chewed his toast then replied
“Morning, how was your night”

Suddenly stood beside his dad and bent down near him
“Dad one slice of your toast please”

Brought a toast near his mouth carefully

Opened his moth and chewed the toast, making exaggerated facial expressions
“Yum, Yum… mum this is tasty”

Already serving Taehyung’s food on a clean plate.
“Sit down and eat, stop reducing your dad’s portion already”
Taehyung was still brushing his wet hair beside his dad while watching his mum serve him food, he was just about to say something when he felt a slight whack on his back.

Taehyung gasped, jumping away from his dad unconsciously as he stared at his dad, whining
“Ouch. Dad what was that for?”

“Brat, quit acting like you didn’t know you were purposely splashing water on me from your wet hair”

Frowned slight as he tried to rubbed the place his dad hit, feigning ignorance.
“No, I wasn’t”

Mrs Kim suddenly looked up to taehyung, her voice returing to that usual commanding tone
“Sit tae. You’re already late for school”

Taehyung grabbed a slice from his plate and stuffed it into his mouth, chewing hurriedly
“I’m already too late for sitting down”
Gulped down the milk and waved bye to his mum and dad.

Shook her head as she watch him go
“Brat, do you not want your snacks money?”
Taehyung sprinted back to his parent immediately.

Stretched his hand to his mum
“I almost forgot… money Please”
Mrs Kim
Mrs Kim slowly took out her purse and brought out some money
“This is for transport and snacks.. okay?”
Taehyung was just about to grabbed the money when his mum suddenly withdrew her hand and flicked his head slightly.

“Aww, mum why did you do that”
Mrs Kim
Looked at him seriously and poked his cheeks
“Brat don’t you dare make any trouble… I refuse to come to your school like a part timer this semester”

Nodded seriously
“I promise to be a good boy mum”

Sighed and passed him the money
“You said that the last time and I got called to your school because you said your math teacher study math too hard, his hair refused to grow”

Taehyung whined and let out a low sigh like he was deeply offended
“It was true”
After a little talk with his mum, taehyung slowly turned to his dad and suddenly hugged him.

Mr Kim, knowing very well that taehyung was about to demand for something asked him before tae could request for whatever he wanted
“ what do you want now?”

Looked at his dad pleadingly
“Dad can I take your electric scooter to school, I’m already pretty late and the bus is gone already”
Mr Kim
His dad sighed and refused
“The last time I let you use it, I got called in the police station to come bail you because you drove recklessly and spoilt public property”

Taehyung whined like he was accused of the biggest crime ever
“Dad, that was then. It won’t happen this time.. I promise”
Mr Kim
Mr Kim sighed, eventually agreeing— reluctantly.
“Fine, but if anything happens to it, I’m deducting the repair money from your pocket money”

Taehyung grinned as he stood up instantly
“That won’t be happening”
Luckily taehyung made it to school in time and wasnt so late and yeah, nothing happened with the electric scooter

Taehyung quickly got over that and nudge jimin
“Hoseok isn’t coming today btw… u know he likes resuming school a week after resumption date”
The duo kept exchanging light talks as they walked their way to their new class and far away, a figure watched them while hiding behind a locker.

“Quit staring dude, you’re gonna bore holes into your little crush”

Turned to the person and spats angrily at the person

Yoongi shrugged before continuing—mocking the other person
“Your business are just pretty interesting after all class topper has a crush but to scared to face rejection”

Paused for a while, thinking hard before finally making an excuse, his voice low that it almost sound like he was trying to convince himself not yoongi
“He isn’t gay, okay? I just don’t want him to look at me weirdly”
**Staring at taehyung walking away**

Yoongi nodded in agreement, not wanting to continue the argument— patting the person’s shoulders he said,
“Alright, alright bud, I get it— you’re not scared just don’t want him to distance himself from you, now let go to class”
