It’s 4:30 AM on Sunday. Chase is arriving to his job at Ms. Susie’s Event Hall. He’s been working in the kitchen for about 6 months. He’s a baker and florist for Ms. Susie. They’re usually closed on Sunday, but a special guest requested their services today. According to Ms. Susie, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

All of them sigh in disbelief, but they love Ms. Susie so they get over it and get back to work.
Everyone is exhausted . After seven and a half long hours. All of the food is finally prepared. They finished before noon and can start heading home. Guest are starting to arrive and they all decide to be nosey and take a peek out at the event hall.
The room is full of business people chatting. The servers are walking around with cocktails and Hors d'oeuvres. Evan thinks this boring and could care less about who this special guest is.
Evan
Ugh I’m too tired to care. Let’s go.
Lilly
Yeah me too. I’m exhausted 😴 I need to rest.
Chase
All right. My brother will be here soon to pick us up. Let’s head out.
Ms. Susie
Good job everyone. See you all tomorrow.
As the three of them exit the building a fancy vehicle pulls up.
The driver opens and the door and man steps out of the vehicle. Chase can’t help but stare. He’s staring so hard he doesn’t notice he’s about to bump into Lilly.
I hope I never see him again
Phillippe Chan has arrived. His driver opens the door and He is about to step out of the vehicle when suddenly two people fall in front of him.
Chase was staring so hard he didn’t notice Lilly in front of him and walked into her. They both fall in front of Mr. Chan’s vehicle.
Lou (security guard)
*Shouting* Hey what the hell is the matter with you?? How dare you cause a disturbance in front of Mr. Chan? Move aside before I move you aside. Imbeciles 😡
Chase
“Stammering” I I’m sorry sir. Lilly I’m so sorry, I hope I didn’t hurt you. 😢 are you okay??

Evan is about to start cussing when Jason, Chase’s brother pulls up after witnessing the raucous. He quickly recognizes the Phillippe Chan and springs into action before anything bad happens.

Hey Hey, everyone calm down, sorry for the disturbance, they didn’t mean to cause any harm. Please forgive them. We’ll be on our way. Let’s go guys
Lou (security guard)

Phillippe scoffs* Samuel, I thought this was supposed to be a proper establishment. I didn’t know I’d be in the presence of hooligans. Don’t ever make a reservation here again.

**Nervous** I I assure your sir, Ms. Susie’s Hall is one of the best establishments in town. As for these folks, they clearly have no home training. I’ll be sure to report it to Ms. Susie. Please, exit the vehicle, your guest await.
Phillippe exits the vehicle and locks eyes with Chase for a brief moment. He thinks nothing of him and continues to walk inside. Samuel, his assistant looks at them with anger and frustration and continues walking towards the building. He’s hoping this minor incident didn’t upset Mr. Chan too much. He worries that Mr. Chan will blacklist Ms. Susie and make her go out business.
Jason
*yelling* OMG do you guys have any idea who that is?? The kind of trouble we could’ve gotten in to? And you big mouth, you just can’t shut up can you?
Evan
😡 HEYY did you hear that way that jerk spoke to us? Fuck that guy I don’t care who he is. If I had it my way I would’ve punched that security guard in the face!

Lilly and Evan finally stop arguing and start listening in on the conversation…

Ahhhh the Phillippe Chan. The new CEO of Chan corp one of the biggest conglomerates in the world 🌎. His father Minghao Chan stepped down 2 weeks ago making Phillippe the new CEO. Today a few employees are celebrating Mr. Chans promotion with a small lunch before the big celebration in a few weeks.
