Prologue: A World Out of Balance
The world was no longer what it used to be.
It hadn't been for a long time.
Monsters existed.
Not myths. Not stories.
Real.
They appeared without warning—creatures born from unknown forces, evolving over time, growing stronger, more intelligent. Some were mindless. Others… far worse.
Among them stood beings that had lived for centuries.
At the top of that hierarchy was one name whispered in fear:
Majin Bane.
A monster said to have existed for over a thousand years. A king among monsters.
No one knew his true limits. Only that wherever he appeared… entire regions disappeared with him.
To fight against them, humanity changed.
Some were born different.
They were called Mutants.
Humans who awakened abilities—powers that bent the rules of reality itself. Fire, gravity, energy, constructs… each one unique.
They became humanity's defense.
But power didn't create equality.
It created hierarchy.
The strong ruled.
The weak survived.
And those in between—
Were used.
Chapter 1: The Weight of Survival
Naji Kang a seventeen year old boy woke up before sunrise.
Not because he wanted to.
Because he had to.
The room was small—barely enough space for a mattress and a cracked wall that let cold air leak in. The ceiling was stained from old rain. The light flickered when it worked.
Still better than before.
He sat up slowly.
His body ached.
That made it… what, the fourth job?
No.
Fifth.
He had stopped counting properly.
Work had blurred into one long stretch of exhaustion.
The debt didn't care how tired he was.
It never did.
He stood up, stretching stiff muscles. His hands were rough, scarred from constant combat. His breathing was steady—but heavy.
The number sat in his mind.
Always there.
A debt he didn't create.
A burden left behind by a man who was supposed to protect him.
Instead, he ran.
And left Naji with everything.
Naji clenched his fist.
If he didn't work—
He didn't eat.
If he didn't obey—
He didn't live.
A sharp knock hit the door.
"They're waiting."
Of course they were.
They always were.
Earlier That Same Night
The alley reeked of blood.
Naji stood over a fallen creature—its body twitching slightly before going still.
A low-level mutant-beast.
Fast.
Annoying.
Dead.
He exhaled slowly.
That was one.
"Move," a collector said. "Next site."
No rest.
No pause.
The second job was worse.
A warehouse raid.
Rogue mutants.
Three of them.
By the end, the ground was cracked, the walls half-collapsed, and Naji's breathing was uneven.
He leaned slightly, catching himself.
"Still standing?" one collector muttered.
Naji didn't respond.
He just straightened.
He was used to this.
Pain didn't matter.
Only results did.
Back to the Present
Naji stepped outside.
The city was already alive—people moving, surviving, pretending things were normal.
They weren't.
Not in a world like this.
He looked up briefly.
The sky was dull.
For a moment, a thought crossed his mind.
What would it feel like… to live?
Not survive.
Live.
To laugh.
To rest.
To have someone who didn't disappear.
The thought faded.
Dreams like that weren't for him.
"Move."
A collector shoved him forward.
Naji walked.
Because that's what he always did.
The ruined district lay silent.
To Be Continued…
The ruined district lay silent—a skeleton of buildings and streets torn apart by neglect and violence.
Naji Kang moved through the rubble alongside the debt collectors, his instincts uneasy.
One of them clicked his tongue.
COLLECTOR #1
"Don't slow down, kid. This is just another cleanup job."
Naji didn't answer immediately. His eyes scanned the broken skyline.
Too quiet.
Too empty.
Finally, he muttered,
NAJI:
"This doesn't feel like a job."
Another collector laughed softly.
COLLECTOR #1
"You always say that."
But Naji wasn't joking.
This mission… felt wrong.
They found them quickly.
A group of hostile figures stood among the ruins.
Former humans—now twisted into puppets.
A voice from the lead collector confirmed it.
"Virus-class contamination confirmed. No survivors."
Naji's expression hardened.
NAJI:
"So they're already gone… just shells?"
A third collector replied coldly.
COLLECTOR #3
"Exactly. Don't hesitate. Eliminate and collect the core."
Naji exhaled slowly.
NAJI:
"I've seen worse."
But even as he said it, after putting on a comm link, he got closer and closer to the threat, and something inside him tightened.
Then Naji spoke again.
NAJI:
"Is this really my final job?"
The group went silent.
The air shifted.
After a pause, a voice answered through the comm-link.
"…Yes."
But it was too quick.
Too clean.
Naji narrowed his eyes.
NAJI:
"…That was fast."
No one responded.
That silence told him everything.
Then he saw them.
Among the infected—
Two figures stood differently.
Not fully broken.
Not fully gone.
Familiar.
His breath slowed.
NAJI:
"…No way."
Naji stepped forward slightly.
NAJI: (thinking)
"They're... the co-bosses of the loan sharks."
Naji knew something was wrong.
Very wrong.
Then realization hit him like a hammer.
NAJI: (trembling slightly)
"This isn't a job…"
His voice dropped.
NAJI:
"It's an ambush."
Before he could react—
A debt collector moved first.
COLLECTOR #1
"sorry kid ,orders changed. We're Subduing the target now."
NAJI:
"What—?"
Naji turned sharply.
NAJI:
"Subdue who?!"
But it was too late.
A strike hit him from behind.
NAJI:
"Guh—!"
NAJI staggered.
Another voice echoed through the ruins, distorted .
"finally you brought the insect."
NAJI: [eyes widened.]
"So that's it…"
He laughed bitterly.
"You never planned to clear the debt."
Then—
A presence emerged.
The B-ranked virus-class mutant.
A massive double-headed flesh spider… with human intelligence.
It clicked and spoke in a broken human tone.
FLESH SPIDER
"Did you think your dept will be cleared fool "
Naji's eyes sharpened as he stood up.
NAJI:
"So you're the insurance."
A debt collector slammed him into rubble.
collector #1
"Stay down, kid!"
NAJI: [coughed blood.]
"Why…?"
COLLECTOR #2.
"Because you were never meant to leave."
NAJI: froze.
"…So I was just a tool."
all collectors held him pinned to the ground as the monster moved closer.
Crippled.
Breathing shattered.
Everything dimmed.
But then—
Something deeper stirred.
A thought.
Not anger.
Not fear.
But desire.
NAJI: [in his mind]
I don't want to die.
I haven't lived yet.
I haven't even made a friend.
NAJI:[in his mind]
why,why why why WHY WHY WHYWHYWHYWHYWHYYY ME WHY DID IT.
HAVE TO BE ME!!
NAJI: [swallowed by rage]
"no it doesn't matter i wanna live, I'm going to live and even if I die I'm gonna give them what for."
That will—pure and unbreakable— ignited inside him.
COLLECTOR #1
"Stay down!" a collector shouted.
But Naji's fingers moved.
NAJI:
"…No."
Gravity trembled.
COLLECTOR #1
"What did you say?".
NAJI: [ lifted his eyes in fury.]
"I said… NOOOO!!!."
Then it happened.
The world bent.
Space itself folded inward.
COLLECTOR #3
"W-what is this pressure?!"
COLLECTOR #1
"damn it it's mutant's second awakening "
The air collapsed toward him.
NAJI: [yells in rage]
HAAAAAAA!!!!.
Silence.
Then power erupted.
BOOOOM!!!!
everything was blasted backwards by an invisible overwhelming force all collectors were thrown in different directions, one got slammed against a metal wall, the other two in the midst of the infected people and were they got tourn apart immediately.
Naji stood.
Different.
Heavier.
Stronger.
The battlefield warped around him.
COLLECTOR #1
"…This isn't possible."
Naji tilted his head slightly, revealing purple flames in his eyes
NAJI:
"You made one mistake."
He raised his hand.
NAJI:
"I thinking i would die that easy."
NAJI:
"GRAVITON COLLAPSE."
The world responded.
A gravitational well exploded outward.
COLLECTOR #1
"w-what is th - GAAAH—!!"
Bodies were dragged in.
Metal screamed.
Concrete shattered.
The two co-bosses struggled.
COLLECTOR #1
"Naji! Wait—this is a misunderstanding!"
Naji didn't blink.
NAJI:
"You already decided my ending."
The debt collector roared,
boss , you.see me dying here help me
FLESH SPIDER:
minions.. ATTACK!!!
Naji turned slightly.
NAJI:
"…Too late."
NAJI:
"REPULSION BURST."
BOOM—
A shockwave detonated outward.
Enemies were thrown like dust.
The battlefield broke apart under his will.
The mutant charged.
Naji didn't move.
He simply whispered:
NAJI:
"Fall."
Gravity collapsed.
The infected people were crushed inward—then launched into ruins with a deafening impact.
Silence returned. but only for a moment as the flesh spider charged
it struck with it's leg but around naji the attack slow drastically to the point where it stopped then boom without warning or travelling time it's massive frame was slammed against a metal wall several metres across the werehouse ,Only rubble remained.
Naji stood among the destruction.
eyes cold
the monster lunged again leaping into the air sticking to the ceiling as it spat poisonous liquid towards naji but the same thing happened again the attack slowed down and was shot back at the flesh monster without travelling time
the sheeked in pain as it fell to the ground, naji
face shadowed took one step and disappeared appearing right in front of the monster in the blink of an eye the beast was pinned toth wall by an invisibility overwhelming force the closer naji got the stronger the force.
NAJI:
" time to end this "
naji raised his right hand (GRAVITON COLLAPSE)
then raised his left hand (REPULSION BURST)
merging both creating a more devastating output of power (SINGULARITY BREAK) the pressure alone started tearing everything around making them look like paper.
NAJI:(cold eyes/tone)
"die"
the blast destroyed everything in it's line of sight even the background was tourn apart as far as the eye can see luckily the werehouse was far for the city ,
half of the flesh spider's body was completely disappeared crushed to an atomic level.
with a loud thud the remains dropped, Naji let out a sigh of relief his new lean but muscular body still tensed but relaxed.
NAJI:
" sigh... it's finally over"
Then he noticed it.
A faint glow beneath the debris.
He walked forward.
Kneeled.
And pulled it out.
A core.
Massive.
Pulsing with energy.
NAJI:
"…what is… wait this a monster core I've only heard obout throuthe collectors."
NAJI:
"and judging by the green colour and it's size i should be able to clear the dedt with the other banks right? "
NAJI:[crying]
"…I've dreamt of this for so long?"
He stood slowly.
"…I'm about to be free, thank God."
Time passed.
Debts were erased.
Records wiped.
Chains broken.
The first light of dawn broke over the horizon.
Naji stood alone in front of an old phone shak
the place he called home
The wind moved through broken glass like a whisper of freedom.
He looked at his hand.
NAJI:
"…Nineteen today i turn Nineteen iv spent eighteen years tryingto pay backthat debt now it's finally over.."
A pause.
Then softly:
NAJI:
"So this is what freedom feels like."
He turned toward the rising sun.
For the first time—
He wasn't owned.
He wasn't a tool.
He wasn't in debt.
Naji Kang stood in the light.
Whole.
Free.
And in control of his destiny.
