[glaring down at her, super irritated] "Are you blind, idiot?"

JAE-MIN PARK
[rolling his eyes] "Do I look like a pillar to you?? 🙄"
HANA KIM
[pouting and getting defensive] "Well you were just standing there like one!😏"
JAE-MIN PARK
[crossing his arms, cold] "You're the one who can't walk straight. Fix your vision before you leave the house."
HANA KIM
[gasping, completely offended] "Excuse me?! You don't have to be so rude about it!"
JAE-MIN PARK

JAE-MIN PARK
[scoffing, annoyed] " And you don't have to crash into people and call them pillar. Watch where you're going next time. "
She is still sitting on the floor, making no effort to get up.
JAE-MIN PARK
[looking down at her, raising an eyebrow] "Are you just going to sit on the floor all day?"
HANA KIM
[ignoring his question completely, dusts her clothes] (Whatever.)
HANA KIM
[muttering to herself, rolling her eyes] "So rude..."
JAE-MIN PARK
[watching her walk away] "Hey! I'm talking to you!"
HANA KIM
[waving her hand back without looking at him) "Bye, pillar!"
She just ignores him and walks away, leaving him standing there completely furious.
JAE-MIN PARK
[staring after her, totally shocked and frustrated] "Did she just ignore me?! Unbelievable."
Hana walks into her new classroom, feeling a bit nervous. She finds an empty desk and sits down next to a energetic girl with bright pink hair, who is currently munching on snacks.
YURI SONG
[turning around instantly, eyes sparkling] "Oh! Hi!! Are you the new student? 💖 "
HANA KIM
[smiling shyly, nodding] "Uh, yeah! Hi. I just joined today."
YURI SONG
[shoving a bag of chips toward her] " Omgg welcome! I’m Yuri! Want a snack? Snacks fix literally everything. "
HANA KIM
[taking one, chuckling] " Thanks, I'm Hana. And I kind of need one... my morning started off terrible."
YURI SONG
[leaning in close, full gossip mode] "Wait, really?! Tell me everything! What happened? 🤯 "
HANA KIM
[sighing, rolling her eyes] "I literally slipped in the hallway because some idiot was standing right in the middle of the hall like a human pillar."
YURI SONG
[gasping dramatically, almost choking on her food] " Wait... a pillar?! Was he tall, arrogant, and acting like he owns the place? "
HANA KIM
[blinking in surprise] "Uh, yeah! Exactly like that. How did you know?"
YURI SONG
[squealing with excitement, grabbing Hana's arm] " OMG You won't believe what you just did... You ran into him on your very first day?! 💀"

[confused] "Wait, what do you mean? Is he famous or something? 🤨"
YURI SONG
[whispering loudly, leaning closer] " Girl, that wasn't just some random guy. That was the school heartthrob! Everyone is obsessed with him, but he’s so cold."
HANA KIM
[scoffing, crossing her arms] "Heartthrob? More like a giant roadblock. He called me an idiot! 🙄"
YURI SONG
[laughing out loud, slapping the desk] "Omg no way! No one ever talks back to him like that! You actually called him a pillar to his face?! 😭"
HANA KIM
[shrugging] " Well, he was standing there like pillar!"
YURI SONG
[smiling huge, offering another snack] "Okay, I officially love you. We are best friends now. You have to tell me exactly what he looked like when you walked away!"
HANA KIM
[smiling, feeling relieved] " Honestly? He looked like he was about to explode."
YURI SONG
[squealing] " Iconic! Absolute legend behavior for your first day! 👑✨"
Suddenly, the classroom door opens. The teacher walks in, and right behind the teacher is the exact same guy from the hallway. He steps into the room, looking around with a bored expression.
YURI SONG
[nudging Hana hard, whispering] "Speak of the devil... look who's in our class! 😳"
HANA KIM
[gasping, instantly hiding her face behind Yuri's pink hair] "Oh no... you've got to be kidding me. 💀"
YURI SONG
[whispering excitedly, hitting Hana's shoulder]" Girl, hide your face! That’s Jae-Min Park! He’s a senior and the soccer captain. Why is he even in the junior wing?!"
HANA KIM
[ducking low behind Yuri's pink hair, whispering back]" I don't care who he is, just don't let him see me! 💀"
Jae-Min scans the classroom with a sarcastic, bored look on his face. His eyes stop right at the back of the room where a giant ball of pink hair is trying to shield someone.
YURI SONG
[muttering out of the side of her mouth] "Uh oh... Hana... I think he's looking over here. Also, don't worry about him anyway. He has a girlfriend."
HANA KIM
[peeking out with one eye, curious] "He has a girlfriend? Then why are all the girls staring at him like he's single?"
YURI SONG
[smirking, eating another chip] "Because everyone knows it’s just a girlfriend for namesake! It's totally fake. He treats everyone like ice."
HANA KIM
[scoffing loudly]"Yeah, well, he's definitely as cold as ice."
Suddenly, a shadow falls over their desk. Hana looks up slowly. Jae-Min is standing right in front of them, arms crossed, staring down at her with a smug grin.
JAE-MIN PARK
[smirking, leaning against her desk] "Well, well. Look who it is. The girl who can't tell the difference between a human and a pillar."
HANA KIM
[freezing, then forcing a fake smile] " Oh. Look. It’s the hallway roadblock. Can I help you, senior? 🙄"
JAE-MIN PARK
[raising an eyebrow, challenged] "You've got a lot of attitude for someone who can't even walk straight."
YURI SONG
[silently screaming, holding her breath, totally loving the drama] 😳🍿
HANA KIM
[crossing her arms, tilting her head back to look at him] "And you've got a lot of free time for a senior. Don't you have a soccer ball to go kick somewhere?"
JAE-MIN PARK
[scoffing, a slight chuckle escaping him] (What is up with this girl? Nobody at Hansol High talks to me like this. Usually, girls just stammer or apologize. She’s staring right into my eyes like she wants to fight me. It’s... actually kind of hilarious.)
HANA KIM
[glaring at him] (Why is he looking at me like that? Is he trying to intimidate me with his looks? I mean, fine, Yuri was right-he is ridiculously handsome up close. His hair looks soft, and those eyes are killer. But no way am I letting this arrogant roadblock know that.)
YURI SONG
[whispering under her breath while frantically chewing] "Omg, the tension is insane. Is anyone filming this? Hana is a literal legend. 🍿"
JAE-MIN PARK
[tapping his fingers on her desk, his tone turning teasing] "For your information, junior, I'm here on official student council business. But I just couldn't resist stopping by to see if you needed a map to navigate a straight hallway."
HANA KIM
[forcing an incredibly sweet, fake smile] "Oh, how thoughtful! But I'm doing just fine. Though, next time, maybe wear a warning sign so people know there's an oversized obstacle in the middle of the corridor."
JAE-MIN PARK
[raising an eyebrow, a genuine grin tugging at his lips] (Oversized obstacle? Wow. She really doesn't back down, does she?)
JAE-MIN PARK
[leaning back, stuffing his hands in his pockets]" Careful, new girl. Keep that sharp tongue up, and you might find your high school life getting a lot more complicated."
HANA KIM
[unbothered, leaning forward]" Is that a threat, senior?"
JAE-MIN PARK
[stepping back as the teacher starts heading toward the board] " Consider it a friendly warning. See you around, "Newbie." "
Jae-Min turns around and walks out of the classroom, his lips curved into a smug smirk that he doesn't even try to hide.
JAE-MIN PARK
[walking down the hallway] "Hana... so that's her name. Hana. Things just got a whole lot less boring around here."
YURI SONG
[instantly grabbing Hana's arm, shaking her violently] "OMG!! HANA!! What was that?! He was totally flirting with you! Or trying to destroy you! I can't tell, but it was hot! 😭💥"
HANA KIM
[slumping back into her chair, her heart secretly racing] " Ugh, my heart needs to calm down. That wasn't flirting, Yuri. That was war."
HANA KIM
[out loud, sighing] "He's just an arrogant jerk who hates being ignored. Trust me, I'm going to make sure I stay far, far away from him."
Little did Hana know, Jae-Min Park had absolutely no intention of letting her stay away.
