I thought that's was my dead
The great hall of the ancient ducal estate had become unnaturally silent. Moonlight spilled through the towering stained-glass windows, painting pale silver across the polished stone floor. Torn banners bearing the family's crest fluttered in the cold wind that slipped through shattered windows. Then— Clang! Steel met steel. A guard cried out. Another sword sliced through the air with a sharp whistle. Panic erupted. Servants fled in every direction. Knights rushed forward, only to be overwhelmed by two figures dressed entirely in black. Their faces were hidden beneath shadowed hoods, moving with impossible speed and perfect coordination. The sound of swords echoed through the hall. Metal... Footsteps... Shouts... Screams... One by one, the defenders fell.
One by one, the defenders fell. Furniture splintered as desperate people stumbled over overturned tables. Candles crashed to the floor
