📞 I understand, plan accordingly. The wedding might be in November, the date isn’t confirmed yet. We are gonna call the priests and set a date and i’ll let you know.

*upset but hopeful* Yeah i know, I understand that better than anyone but i want to go. He said the weddings not happening without me. Apart from that, it’s just that i wanna go. It’s something that i had always wished for. Him getting married before me and me getting to enjoy in his wedding is like a dream come true. I don’t want to miss this chance for anything.

I understand that but think rationally, what if you get stuck and won’t be able to come back.

I wouldn’t know that unless i try.

*in a sarcastic tone* its not like he won’t actually not get married just because you are not there *scoffs*

*irritated*( I know she is saying for my own good, but i don’t understand why does she have to be so blunt about it.)

*senses the tension* Anyways, its not like you are leaving tomorrow. You have enough time to think about it. *smiles assuringly*

Yeah whatever*leaves rolling her eyes*

*clearly gets upset and starts looking down thinking about something deeply*

*sits beside Ira and side hugs her* Hey, you know better then caring what others think or say. Do whatever you think is best for you and just don’t regret about it. I know it’s a sticky situation but sometimes you just have to go with the flow.
But it has to be your sole decision not someone else’s.

*hugs her back and smiles* Thankyou for always being there.

Ira recently lost her job. She was in California before for work, but she moved back with her friends i.e., to virginia after she lost the job.

*video call* Suraj won’t be happy to hear you still haven’t booked your tickets. He’s been asking me every single day.

*teary eyes* we miss you a lot, its been 2 years since we last saw you. Please come soon beta. We don’t want you to miss any rituals. A sister plays a main role in all the wedding rituals.

*video call* Mom, please don’t cry. I’ll book the tickets by this weekend and i won’t miss anything.

*video call* “u better not” says in a warning tone

*takes the phone and goes aside* Iruu, i understand that you have to sort your things out before coming. But, i don’t wanna do this without you by my side. I don’t want to celebrate the most happiest moment of my life with you being somewhere so far away. I know it’s your career that you have to put on line here. But, i promise if there is a situation where you won’t be able to go back i’ll make sure you live your life on your own terms and responsibilities.
*takes a pause*

Ira has just landed after a long flight. She’s exhausted, dragging her suitcase, looking for her family.
She spots Suraj first.
He’s waving like a maniac.
She’s laughing, getting ready to run to him…
Then she notices someone standing beside him.
Not because he’s exceptionally handsome.
Just because he’s calm.
While Suraj is making a scene, this guy is standing there with a small smile, hands in his pockets, watching the siblings reunite.
Ira doesn’t know who he is.
But she notices him.

*runs and hugs her brother like a koala* I missed youu soo muchhhh

*Catches her and hugs her back* There she iss!

Oh right! You two have never actually met.
*The name caught her off guard*

The one she’d heard about for years.

*offering hand* Hi Ira
Neither of them said much after that.
But as they walked toward the parking lot, Ira couldn’t help but glance at him once more.
He wasn’t what she’d expected.

*wagging his tail and barking*

*dropping to her knees and pulling Happy into a hug* Awww, my babyyy! Did you miss me? I missed you sooo much!

*throwing her arms around her parents* I missed you guys so much. *sniffles*
Mom
We did too beta*sniffles*
Arjun couldn’t help but smile.
Five minutes in the house and she’d already greeted the dog before anyone else.
