Au Revoir
Prologue.
It was a cold day in the middle of January, this year was supposed to be full of love and happiness.
For everyone else, not Cain, not the dominant omega everyone ignored, he wasn't striking enough to gain looks, he wasn't talkative enough to earn notice.
He was anything, but loved.
The phone rang, once, twice, someone picked up.
Michael Davidson [DA]
What's going on, Cain?
Cain de Estellea [MC] [DO]
Hi...Michael, I wanted to ask, if you were free tomorrow?
Michael Davidson [DA]
Tomorrow, yes, I am free, what is it?
Cain de Estellea [MC] [DO]
I...got a surprise for you, would you be able to come?
Michael's voice was reserved, kind.
Michael Davidson [DA]
Of course, your villa?
Cain de Estellea [MC] [DO]
Hm.
Cain nodded to himself, Michael agreed and hung up.
If this worked out, only if it did, maybe the tragedy that happened wouldn't have to be.
Cain was sitting on the cold tiles of the bathroom floor, his hand was bleeding, a long and deep cut ran up his arm.
Cain de Estellea [MC] [DO]
Please....come save me...
Cain stopped the sniffle in his throat, he couldn't, he wasn't this weak, he couldn't be.
He held it in, his eyes watery, but his fear was too big to let it go.
He wasn't weak, he didn't need to be seen this way, no?
This was his last hope, his chance at survival.
Hope not to wish for.
Cain woke up tired, his eyes were heavy with fatigue, he seemed distracted early in the morning, already.
His body moved upwards, his arms pushing him up, as he looked around the familiar room.
Cain de Estellea [MC] [DO]
I'm so tired again...
Both his arms were covered with long sleeves, even if it was hot summer, even if it was cold winter, he never let anyone see the scars beneath them.
One sleeve was slightly off, so he pulled it down, as if nothing happened.
Cain de Estellea [MC] [DO]
I can't let anyone see these.
He shook his head and let his legs fall down on the cold floor, it was the middle of January, cold winter days were frequent now.
His villa was expensive and beautiful, but only for people, who didn't live here, for him, it was hell.
He felt alone in this vast house, alone and trapped in his biggest fears.
He dreamt of them every night, he saw them every second of his life, he dared not to close his eyes, he only did, when he fell due to exhaustion.
Cain de Estellea [MC] [DO]
My birthday is approaching.
Cain de Estellea [MC] [DO]
I should call Michael...
There was one last hope, a hole he dared not to wish for, Michael.
It's all crumbling down.
Cain stood up, his legs barely holding him on the ground, his vision blurred as his head felt dizzy, he had to steady himself and lean in the wall.
Cain de Estellea [MC] [DO]
Oh...
He blinked twice, his vision came back, his breaths were slow and hard.
He was skinny for his age and family ties, his arms and legs scrawny, his ribs showing beneath his skin.
He rarely ate these days, he had no appetite.
Cain finally let go of the wall and made a few steps, a glass with water sat on the nightstand, he reached for it and took a sip.
Cain de Estellea [MC] [DO]
All better...
He lived on water, but his body wouldn't keep up forever.
It needed proper food, proper vitamins and minerals, proper fats and fiber.
Cain de Estellea [MC] [DO]
It's okay, Cain... you're fine... I'm fine.
He reassured himself, as his body grew weaker and weaker every single day.
His family never calls, his brother rarely shows up, and his only friend, his hope and love seems distracted lately.
