Bloody Revenge

Chapter 1

BRIAM: ASHES OF BETRAYAL

The night was dark and silent.

Rain poured from the sky as eight-year-old Briam sat in the living room of his family's countryside mansion. The warm light from the fireplace filled the room while his father, Daniel, read documents at his desk.

His mother, Sarah, smiled as she placed dinner on the table.

Everything seemed peaceful.

Then a black convoy of luxury SUVs stopped outside the house.

Briam looked through the window.

"Mom... someone is here."

Daniel's face suddenly became serious.

He knew exactly who had arrived.

Stephen.

His younger brother.

The man he once trusted.

The man who had become one of the most feared gang leaders in the city.

The front door opened.

Stephen walked inside wearing a black suit and leather gloves. Several armed bodyguards followed behind him.

At first, a smile appeared on his face.

"Brother!" Stephen laughed. "It's been a long time."

Daniel stood up.

"What are you doing here?"

Stephen looked around.

"Can't I visit my own family?"

Sarah felt something was wrong.

The bodyguards closed the doors behind them.

The atmosphere instantly became heavy.

Stephen slowly placed a stack of documents on the table.

Property papers.

Daniel's eyes narrowed.

"No."

Stephen's smile disappeared.

"No?"

"This property belongs to Father. It belongs to both of us."

Stephen's voice became cold.

"I don't want half."

He leaned forward.

"I want everything."

Briam watched nervously from behind his mother.

Daniel pushed the papers away.

"I'm not signing anything."

Stephen's jaw tightened.

His eyes filled with anger.

Years of jealousy exploded inside him.

"You always got everything!"

His fist slammed against the table.

"Father trusted YOU!"

"Father loved YOU!"

The bodyguards stepped forward.

Sarah grabbed Briam protectively.

"Stephen, stop this."

But Stephen had already crossed the line.

He pulled out a handgun.

The room fell silent.

Briam's heart nearly stopped.

Stephen pointed the weapon directly at Daniel's head.

"Sign it."

Daniel stared at him.

"No."

"Sign it!"

"No."

Stephen's bodyguards grabbed Daniel and forced him into a chair.

One man placed a pen into his hand.

Sarah screamed.

"Leave him alone!"

Stephen turned toward her.

"Stay out of this."

Daniel looked at his son.

Tears formed in his eyes.

"Briam... don't be afraid."

Stephen slammed the gun against Daniel's forehead.

"Sign the papers!"

Finally Daniel signed.

Not because he was afraid.

But because he wanted to protect his family.

Stephen smiled.

The papers were now his.

But greed had already poisoned his soul.

He slowly looked at his bodyguards.

The men understood.

Sarah's face turned pale.

"No..."

Daniel immediately realized.

"You promised!"

Stephen gave a cruel smile.

"I lied."

The house exploded into chaos.

Gunshots echoed through the halls.

Furniture shattered.

Glass broke.

Sarah pulled Briam behind a couch.

"Briam, run!"

"No! Mom!"

"RUN!"

Daniel fought desperately against the attackers.

He tackled one bodyguard.

Another struck him.

The room became a battlefield.

Sarah pushed Briam toward the back door.

"Go!"

Briam ran.

Tears streamed down his face.

Behind him he heard screams.

More gunshots.

Then silence.

The mansion burst into flames.

Fire swallowed the home.

Briam collapsed outside in the rain.

His entire world burned before his eyes.

He screamed until his voice disappeared.

The flames reflected in his tear-filled eyes.

At that moment a promise was born.

One day...

Stephen would answer for everything.
