(The city never sleeps... neither do I.)
(Another meeting. Another contract. Another billion added to numbers I no longer cared about.)
(People called me the youngest billionaire CEO.)
(I called it... exhausting.)

"Mr. Harrington, your next meeting is at Ashbourne Memorial Hospital."

"I don't remember approving that."
STAFF LADY// SOMEONE
"It's regarding the new medical research investment, sir."
I closed my laptop and looked out at the rain-soaked city.
Hospitals were all the same.
As soon as I stepped inside the hospital, everyone froze.

"Good morning, Mr. Harrington."

"I'm only here for the investment."
A man walked past me without even looking in my direction.

Someone treated me like I didn't exist.
I watched his figure disappear down the hallway.
A faint smile appeared on my face.

People think saving lives is heroic.
The operating room was silent except for the steady beeping of the heart monitor.
I removed my gloves and walked out without waiting for congratulations.
Praise never interested me.
As I headed toward my office, the hospital director stopped me.

"Dr. Ashbourne, the CEO of Aetheris Global Holdings is here for the investment project."

"I walked past him."

Without another word, I continued down the hallway.
People waste too much time talking.
As I reached my office, I glanced through the window.
The young CEO was still standing in the lobby.
I looked away and picked up the next patient's file.

Work would always come first.

My first day as a medical student.
I stood in front of Ashbourne Memorial Hospital, clutching my student ID with a nervous smile.

Everyonearound me looked so experienced.
I was already lost trying to find my classroom.

My books scattered across the floor.
Before I could pick them up, a hand placed them neatly back into my arms.
He walked away before I could even say thank you.

"...He's so cool."
Without realizing it, I watched his back disappear into the hallway.
