Somewhere between dark rooms, a woman sitting stressed, yet confident as she reads her files. It's well past midnight but she refuses to give up. Watching her it feels as though her whole future relies upon these pages. With determination, she devotes herself to the one thing that matters to her .

The surrounding atmosphere is heavy. Alone in a house that feels far too large for just two souls . She lives with her 15-year-old daughter. The silence is almost unbearable. Yet, she continues to move forward.

deep in her thoughts , she felt dryness in her throat, needing water so she stepped away from work and headed towards the kitchen.

Clicked open the fridge and took out a bottle of water.. all silence

The water bottle fell from her hands as her heart beats started to pound heavily , with the thought it it's a threat to her who will even save her and her daughter..

lily our sixteen year old daughter is everything to me . She is smart, gorgeousand lately, angry. She thinks i distanced myself out of selfishness. But how do i explain that every sleepless night in court every strict rule every time i pushed her it was all for her . Damon? He us the hero in her eyes. The cool dad. lets her break rules, shows up at her school events like a king. She clings to him and adores him. And me I'm the one who says no the one who do not have time.the one she has starting to hate. And through it all damon helps. He covers the rent when i forgets . Pays for her classes without asking. Orders my meds without a word. He never made me feel guilty. Never reminded me . For a man built on control, he never uses my dependence against Me that's what I like about him .....And somehow, that breaks me more. Some nights, when the loneliness hits like a gut punch, he shows up. No words. Nothing , just hugs cuddles with a spark of intimacy , no words afterwards just nothing,... it's just silence that has started to haunt me more..
