Sumiko: Was my life really that bad?

 Everything starts with Sumiko laying in bed, remembering everything shes been through, everything she did, everything she made and everything she acomplished. Then we fade in to her backstory when she falls asleep...

???: Brother! Brother! Let's push Sumiko on the swing.

???: You can push her if you want, I'm drinking carrot juice

???: Hey! I want some too!

???: If you catch me I'll give you the whole entire glass

???: REALLY?!

???: Yeah

???: I'm gonna catch you!

While Ren tried to catch Masayami, Sumiko woke up. She was sitting on a bench swing, her head leaning down on the metal chain of the swing. First, she saw the color orange, not regular orange, but a red-ish, orange-ish sunset. Sumiko turns a little to the side and sees... her mom's house?! Where is she? Why is she here? Is this a dream? After questioning her sanity, she sees Ren and Masayami playing in the garden. They look so... young, so small.

Ren: Sumiko! turns to Masayami look, Ma-chan, Sumiko is awake, mabye she wants carrot juice?

Masayami: Yeah, she just woke up so she must be thirsty.

Sumiko: Wait, how many hours was I asleep for?

Masayami: 2

Sumiko: Oh fuck! I'll be late for a job interview!

Masayami: What do you mean by job interview? Youre only 12 years o-

Ren: What's a fuck?...

~silence~

You're a little Too too young for That. Anyways, Sumiko, you want some carrot juice?

Sumiko looks up at her older brother with sad-happy eyes.

Sumiko: Yeah.. *sniffle* I would quite like that.

Masayami: Good, lets go inside, mom will pour us some.

Sumiko: M-mom?

Masayami: Yeah

Sumiko: I miss her so much!

She starts bawling her eyes out and hugs her older and and younger brothers.

Sumiko: I miss you guys so so much

Ren: Hey, big bro, why is sister crying? Is she Ok?

Masayami: I don't know, mabye she had a bad dream? faces Sumiko Sumiko... did you?

Sumiko: yeah, it was just a really bad dream...just a dream...

???: kids! Come back inside, it's going to get cold soon!

Ren: Awh, but we don't want to.

???: I made rice with vegetables and wagyu beef!

Ren: Yay! My favorite!

Sumiko looks at Ren running inside, and as she looks at him go, her eyes catch a glimpse of a very, very familiar woman in the doorway. Their mom that died? How is that possible? Mabye all of this was truly just a dream? But now she knows that she can finaly be a happy child again, or so she thought...

Mother Nini: Ma-chan, Su-chan, aren't you guys coming in too? I'm also about to make miso soup too if you sweetpies want some..

Sumiko stops crying and puts on a big and honest smile. While running inside, Sumiko says to Nini

Sumiko: I want to eat all of the food that you made! I love it!

Masayami is the last one to get inside, he was walking slowly because he stubbed his little toe while he was running away from his little brother. Sumiko walks past the closet with a mirror, she notices a girl with light, soft, shiny blonde hair, green eyes and pretty eyebrows and short height. Sumiko looks closer and yes, it's her when she was younger. She looks exactly like Sumiko when she was about 11 or 13, weird, she remembers something, but can't describe it, it's like pain, sadness and some thing else... red? Like the sunset she saw today... Bang! It was just mother Nini accidentaly dropping a teacup.

Nini: I'm OK.

But Sumiko saw and heard something else, something more horrible, it was like deja vu, it didn't feel like it... a memory, it felt ike a memory.... strange, really strange. She doesn't pay much attention to it and goes to the small dinning room, where 4 delishous plates of food awaited, she thought she was about to drool a river. Mother Nini, big brother Masayami, little brother Ren and middle sister Sumiko sit around the table.

Masayami: Woah! It looks sooo good it!

Ren: Yeah! I can't wait to eat it!

Sumiko: Mhm! You're the best even mom

Kids: We love you so much!!!

Nini. Awh! I love you too!

after about half an hour, Nini takes Ren to the shower, Sumiko and Masayami went to their room that he could help her with summer homework. An hour passed and all of them met in the living room with a big window and a beutiful wiew of the star and the moon. They talked about what happened happened today. After some time Nini looks at the clock

Nini: Oh, it's getting late guys, go to sleep. And also, I love you sweetpies so so mu-

BAAM!!!

thud

...silence...

Ren: Mom?

 Red, like the sunset that Sumiko saw today, but it was different, it was darker, wetter and it was spreading,

spreading from mothers head.

When she finaly, understood what just happened, a man climbed in through the shattered window, stepping on the glass shards as he walks closer to the lifeless corpse of mother. He moves his foot closer to her face and taps it. Mom doesn't react so the man puts on a wide grin on his face.

Stranger: Hah! Finaly! That bitch is finaly dead, I've been waitting for this moment for over 12 years.

Ren knew the stranger did something bod To mom, he charged at him, not knowing the danger they were in.

Ren: WHAT DID YOU DO TO MOMMY?!

Stranger takes out a knife from his pocket and is about to slash Ren's eyes, but Masayami grabs Ren by the back of his shirt and is able to be cut only on the right check. While Ma-chan took care of Ren-chan and the intruder, Su-chan ran to the telephone to call for help.

Sumiko: Help! Please! There's an intruder in my house, he shot my mom and cut my little brother!

Masayami gets deeply cut across the chest and stomach.

Sumiko: and now the other one too! The addres is ****-****-** please, hurry!

As she was about to put the phone down, stranger pulled out his gun again and shot her wrist, well, not actually, he shot her through her wrist vein but didn't hit the bone (what luck). She yelps from pain, she was loosing a lot of blood, too much, too fast.

Sumiko: WHY WOULD WOULD YOU DO THAT!? WHY!? WHY DID YOU KILL HER?!

She starts crying. Masayami pulled Ren and Sumiko behind him and the situation calms down a little bit. But but stranger spoke up

Stranger: Sumiko! Masayami! How long was it? 12 years, right? Good to see you guys again!

Sumiko, You should fucking go kill yourse-

Stranger: Let me finish! Ahem, anyway, I'm Musuki (turns to Sumiko), and I am your dad, pleasure to meet you, sweetie.

Sumiko: A bastard like you can't be a father.

Musuki: Shut up, before kill all of you!

Ren: You're a mean person!

Musuki snaps at Ren and starts walking to him. Sumiko pulls Ren in to a hug and runs in to a corner, she covers his eyes that he wouldn't see anything thats happening. As Musuki walks closer to them, Masayami throws a vase at him. Musuki, charges at Masayami and both of them start fighting.

Masayami: am the eldest brother, so I will protect them no matter what!

Musuki: You can't protect them, you're weak, weaker than me, weaker than all.

Musuki throws a massive punch straight to Masayami's head, he stand there disoriented for a while, then he slumps to the ground and lays ther unconscious in the puddle of his mother's blood, next to her dead body, Sumiko's thoughs race with all of the bad things hes about to do... and then...BANG!!!

thud

 the door fell.

Police officer 1: Go go go!

Police officer 2: points a gun at Musuki Put your hands in the air!

When he put his hands up, his jacket lifts up, his wallet falls out, and lands right next to Sumiko. She picks it up and looks at his ID "Musuki Tenjuro", that's his full name. 5 paramedics run in to the the house, 2 of them run to Masayami with a strecher and he is taken away to the ambulance. Then her vision start to turn black, 3 paramedics swarm her and a few seconds later she passes.out, and then... silence...
